Mark!!! Oh my goodness, I’m SO happy I saw your video pop across my feed! We used to hang out at Flatlander’s open mic nights, like, a million years ago! I will never forget the first time I watched you drum and Obie leaned over to me and told me you were blind…it still gives me chills man. REALLY happy to see your video and that you’re doing great! You amazed me back then with your determination and it’s great to see you thriving all these years later! Keep rocking life ❤ -Nicki
Wow, Nikki! Yes, I'm also very grateful this did come across your feed so we could reconnect. Because flatlanders, wow, that was almost 2 decades ago, a lifetime. But great times. And thank you! I'm grateful for where I'm at and what I'm doing with myself. And I am regularly always posting more drum video
Love this Mark- this was so insightful, practical, joyful, and Awesome. thank you for sharing what your day and routine are like. I am impressed with your knowledge of nutrition ie vitamins, food, sleep, exercise. No wonder you have so much boundless energy and vitality!! Your advice with healthy living could benefit anyone- sounds like you really have it "locked" down! But I also suspect that you are curious and on the look out for improving on what you have already established. I also have a similar mindset when it comes to nutrition and healthy lifestyle- I also am a fan of taking the stairs whenever possible. I work on the 6th floor of my building, and I huff and puff and sometime swear under my breath, b/c I'm carrying a heavy backpack and whatever else I need to get through my day. People at work have nick named me the Sherpa lady or pack mule!! LOL. What I say to myself to keep motivated to take the stairs is that as long as my legs work, I can climb the stairs- no need for the elevator. The day my legs quit working is the day I can rely on the elevator!! Keep up the good work and good living my friend- you are an inspiration and joy not only to me, but many. As always, keep it sexy 🙂
@@denisegrant5150 you're welcome. And thank you much. I am glad that you did enjoy this episode. And yes, I have learned over the years how much our food intake can affect our mental and physical health. Eating like crap, makes us feel like crap, it makes it hard to break that cycle. so I'm glad you also eat well and take good care of yourself. That's what us sexy people do! But wow, the sixth floor, my hats off to you. I would be out of breath as well. But having an outlet, like being belligerent while climbing is great for you to keep up good habits. But yes, thank you much. I'm always looking for new ways to improve my lifestyles. And I'll always be sure to share. And thank you much for watching. Especially this long episode. I'll always keep them coming
Mark, youre a big inspiration to me. I notice your mental strenght despite your obstacles. If it is not too much to ask, i was qurious as to where your brain damage is located, which areas exept for the visual cortex were affected? Much love to you man ❤
@@MrChristoffer46 and thank you much for the love. I'm very glad I can inspire and show people mental resilience is possible. And no, I really don't mind you asking. I never got too much information, cause the whole situation and dynamic was pretty complicated; like I'm not too sure about my visual cortex, but what I do know, is that both my optic nerves are completely severed and my frontal lobes does have scar tissue
❤❤❤❤❤
