  • This is a "Canadian Soldier Reacts" video. The purpose of this video is to get the reaction from a Canadian Soldiers point of view so that I can compare and contrast it to the Training and experiences that I had while in the 1st BN of the Royal Canadian Regiment from 1987 - 1998. I do a lot of talking in these because my intent is to "React" to the material and not to "Steal" someone else's content. If you are not interested in my reactions, please watch the original video.
You can find the original video here • Australia vs New Zeala...

Keep in mind Australia is currently strengthening its military capability to counteract Chinese aggression in the Indo Pacific region. They are in the process of replacing their Anzac Frigates with 9 new BAE designed type 26 Hunter class Frigates which Canada has also been looking at a variant of. Australia is part of the AUKUS agreement which will eventually see Britain and the US provide them with the technolgy to build nuclear powered submarines. Australias defence spending is USD$32.3 billion (1,9% GDP) Canada spends USD$26.9 billion (1.2 % GDP). Not much point comparing Australia against NZs military they pretty much fight together anyway.

active= fulltime army, the rest is made up by reserves. currently there is 57,346 active, and 32,049 reserves, like every nation we are having a bit of a recruitment issue atm, the weapons are Australian styers made by lithgow arms, it was a version made befotre the latest one now, the ef88, they now use a f90. australias tanks are M1A1 abrams, those arent our vehicles at all, we have M113AS4, Bushmaster PMV, we have the LAV but its being replaced by the Boxer- the vehicle on the right sized up agaisnt the lav, that drone thing is i have no idea lol the artilery is going be backed up with SPG k9 guns from korea.. we havb f35 lighting some F/A-18E... Australia has black hawks, and tiger eurocopters as attack choppers, australia does have 2x helicopter landing docks, the submarines are changing over to either a brittish nuclear sub or an american nuclear submarine due to the aukus pact or a mixture of both hasnt been decided yet, but the naval numbrs are little off, we also dont have a merchant marine corps lol didnt mnean to comment bomb you! lol i love my country ha ha lots is changing down under, would love to chat one day mate
