JacFab Intake Manifold Spacer/Laminator FX Install(Camaro V6)

- Hi guys welcome back to the channel! Today I installed a JacFab intake manifold spacer(extendolator) as well as a Laminator FX from JacFab. Both of these mods will help with airflow and torque improvements. Sorry for the extremely long video but this video contains two mods in one. What the Mods do and general info on them: 1:00
What the Mods look like: 5:00
Start install removal of manifold: 7:18
Manifold removed and view of intake valves and manifold: 13:10
Start of manifold spacer install: 14:16
Extendolator Mod install: 17:00
Reinstall and torqueing: 20:18
First start up after mods: 29:44
Final thoughts: 31:10

@@mistermanage1119 I saw one of your newer videos with the mace cams... cannot wait to hear your Camaro after that. I've been looking at those Mace cams since I bought my 2015 Camaro last year. I got the jacfab intake manifold spacer and the jacfab Laminator fx put in...it has made my Camaro a tad louder and the idle is really nice...not quite like your Camaro though... I have Chevrolet Performance Mufflers so my exhaust is nice and deep sounding. Still wish I had the sound level you have.

Yeah unfortunately I dont have my own garage yet. But when I do, the goal is year round footage even if it's not about the camaro. For example, potentially a engine build this coming winter.

Doesn’t it feel good torquing things to spec? I felt good just watching 😆 Feel for you with them loosing that TB bolt. I dread taking my car anywhere for anything. Very hard to find people that do things the right way. I’d always rather mess something up myself and learn than pay someone to mess it up and find it later.. Got my RotoFab otw with the scoop kit. Nice tutorial
Hello I have a 2015 Chevy Camaro LS I was thinking about getting those two items with the lfx ported manifold but I don’t know if it is compatible with the LS
The trim does not matter. The kind of motor does.
What's the purpose of a strut tower brace on a v6 engine for?
2 mins into idle mines started ticking then when i turnt car off made a whoosh noise
I have never heard of that. May want to contact the manufacture.
@@mistermanage1119 it was my purge valve lol..due to me having the cover off the hood open and trying to listen for noise it scared me but it’s been doing that which they say is normal but the older it is the more ticking noise it makes so I just went on ahead and replaced it
Any tune recommendations for the throttle body and manifold ?
I would use a local dyno tuner. You will have to do your own research on that.
Would you be able to still use the plastic engine cover after installing the spacer ?
No because the manifold is higher away from the valve cover with the spacer.
Yes you can, jacfab sends you a part to lift it up higher
I plan on doing the exact same mods seen in this video with a catback. You think I will be fine without a tune?
Sure you will be fine but you will not get as much from them as you would if you were tuned.

Hello i recently subbed and rly am loving your vids on the 5th gen. im getting a ported manifold and spacer like in the video soon. will you be able to tell me the exact tools i need? I would rly appreciate it.
It depends on if you have aftermarket stuff like me. I can't give you the size to everything cause I dont know what you have. But I do my best to go over most of the stuff in this video. The sizes I didn't mention, you will have to just figure it out but trying different sockets. Also you can clearly see what I am using in the video. Hope that helps.
Does the spacer only fit with their LFX Ported Intake Manifold? Or can I just buy the spacer and install it on my stock manifold.

Wrench only goes to 20 lbs how do I get it to 18 lbs
get a wrench that can do 18
