🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 There was a mistake in the scheduling of the Cliffhanger videos, so they’re out of order :/ Both videos are now currently available though 🤙🏼
Those mountain bikers were so awesome! I hope if they see the video, they know how grateful I am for their help. It would have been 10x as difficult to handle that section solo..
Those mountain bikers were so awesome! Idk what I would have done without their help because that section was absolutely INSANE to look at coming back up..
Thanks so much! I always try to keep it real in my videos and never try to over exaggerate things. I think people like to see the realistic experience.
I was wondering how you were going to make it back up the giant set of rocks. Always good to have a set of fit mountain bikes riders to help you out 😎🤙🏻
I got more comin 🤙🏼 Funny thing is I didn’t realize I hit publish on this video 😂😂 initially I had the two videos coming out on Sunday but I guess since this one aired, we’re just gonna run it 🤟🏼😂
Great job. Wild ride. What were the heights of some of the drops on the stair stepped rocks? Do you have the stock bash plate or a metal one and did you damage it on this run?
@kennethcooley3445 the GoPro definitely flattens out those rock walls I was going up and over. They some of the rocks were a foot or two tall and others were a few inches. Crazy enough, I’m running the stock skid plate and no guards for my radiators or anything. Soon I’ll be doing a bit of work on the husky and if I can afford it, I want to make it a lot more protected.
@@kennethcooley3445 to give you some perspective, when I run that trail in my Jeep Wrangler, I’m on 40” tall tires and some of those ledges make my jeep look like an RC car. That’s what Moab is all about.
@casey3057 oh I have no doubt. I almost feel like I should preface all my videos with the disclaimer that it’s one thing to watch videos, but once you get out there, it’s a whole other level and you gotta be able to handle it.
We passed by the entrance to Cliffhanger on the way down to Kane Creek. There was like a 1/2 mile of Jeeps and 4x4s waiting to get on it... I'm pretty sure I have that off-road traffic jam on one of my videos ....
@@madjack_757 Most of the time the jeepers are cool and don't care. Was on Metal Masher a few weeks ago and had a huge traffic jam at one of the obstacles. Most everyone was cool except for one dude that tried to tell us we have to wait our turn. Was like sure bud.....The guy in front of him waved us past and we popped over the obstacle and left the jam, and didn't hold anyone up. He didn't have anything to say once the guy in front of him let us past. Enjoying the videos, good riding!
@@helialaska Hahahahaha!! At least the one guy waved y'all through cuz I would have been frustrated if I had to wait in that lol. Stoked you're liking the videos man!
Thanks so much! I am stoked you like the channel. I'm gonna be jealous of you guys down south here soon since the state is about to be in a deep freeze with winter coming fast lol
having been on a lot of these same trails, the camera really doesnt do them justice. moab is fun but very unforgiving if you dont know what youre doing so i applaud you sir!
That Husky has a first gear to die for! Smooth over the rough. Until I bought my WR-450 all my bikes were track bikes - RM's, YZ's, RMZ's, etc. In no way were they as polite as that Husky in 1st, and I'm pretty sure they sit higher. That WR-450 has a bit higher 1st than yours but sure beats the track bikes. Looks like you found another sand/dust coated boulder heaven! An yeah those boulders are just waiting to grind off bits and pieces of you bike, if not major gashing. LoL. Anyhow - another awesome video.
Stoked you liked the video man!! I really like 1st gear on the husky. 2nd gear is where it becomes a bit of a handful on the rocky stuff lol. Its almost better for me to run things in 3rd even at slow speeds and feather the clutch. Tho if I am doing serious rock crawling then odds are I'm in 1st. Im sure those track bikes would have been tough out on those rocks. Probably way lighter weight but probably a bit jumpy. I'm tellin you dude moab is a freaking grinding stone!! My 501 has needed so much tlc lol
It’s a DJI mini 3 pro! It follows you by scanning you and maintaining you in the frame. It’s a great setup and super portable. I’ve had this one for a good year now and it’s running well considering all I’ve put it through so far!
The really hard section that the bikers helped with on the way out is known as "No Left Turn" by the jeepers, for obvious reasons as you could see from experience LOL!!
Awh man if you asked for something around like january I probably would've said yes! Unfortunately I am deeeeep in with some projects up north currently. Keep lookin out for fresh content coming!

@madjack_757 no kidding i wouldn't do well there, afraid of heights😬
I like your commentary. Calm. Honest. Realistic. No hyperbole. Not over talking. Nice.

It was definitely one of the more popular 4x4 trails for sure. Thankfully every jeep I encountered was cool and they let me get passed!

@BenModified423 in my vest 🤙🏼

Hahahahahaha makes sense 🤣
Yeah I don’t like that section either. Done it on mountain bikes. A big nope with anything motorized. Awesome view out at the end.
Yeah all it takes is one bad bounce on that cliff section and then you're screwed!
Awesome footage!
Thanks!!
What are you doing with the drone controller while it's flying?
It depends if I’m controlling it or if it’s following me but for the most part the controller sits in my vest 🤙🏼
What is that pipe doing crossing the trail in the middle of nowhere at about 9:10 in the video?
My first guess is it’s some above ground water/gas line? What do you think it is?
Thanks for the armchair adventure here. Curious- why wouldn't you ride a lighter weight bike on stuff like that?
I am taking a group through the Big Bend BDR at the end of October. Let me know if you want to join us.

You should do the Tour of Idaho
I’ve honestly thought about it, but it would take a massive amount of preparation to do it. I think maybe by next summer it could be a possibility 🤟🏼
I heard they weren’t doing the tour of Idaho anymore
@@Pinetreemoto I believe you can still ride it, but its no longer a set event.
