That is a live performance with no auto tune. This is simply pure talent.
It says a lot about the state of modern music when young people are so used to the manufactured personas of today, they’re shocked to see performers based on talent and not gimmicks.

Kathy here - 3 brothers, one mic, no auto-tune - They started singing as little kids and became one of the best groups of all times. Only the lead singer Barry is still alive. Music that is timeless and will never be duplicated.
I was blessed to grow up with those harmonies! The 60's and 70's were all about harmonies.
Brothers (left to right) Robin, Barry & Maurice Gibb all had fantastic voices & all could sing falsetto (Barry had the strongest, most sustainable falsetto) & all sang lead on various songs. They began in 1955 as The Rattlesnakes, (Barry age 9, the twins almost 6). 1958, were renamed BG’s/Bee Gee’s. 1st international hit was Massachusetts in 1967, hit #1 in 13 countries. In the US alone, starting in 1967, they had 30 top 40 hits (23 in top 10, 9 #1s & 6 releases were consecutive #1s). Worldwide, over 120 million records sold. 22 studio albums. 83 singles. 2 live albums. 15 compilations. 4 Soundtracks, including Saturday Night Fever, 1 of the best selling soundtrack of all time (in Library of Congress, as Culturally Significant). 3 Grammys, plus Grammy Legend & Lifetime Achievement Awards. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, 1997. Songwriters Hall of Fame, 1994 (with 1031 songs by Barry, Robin & Maurice, together, alone or with others). I believe that was a "live" studio recording. I cant' imagine they'd have an entire orchestra just pretending to play.
You can definitely find them live, they were around for decades. Only the lead singer is still alive and he's in his 70's now.

I saw The Bee Gees in concert in 1978 and, yes, they sounded just like this live. Sadly, the twins-Robin and Maurice-are no longer living. Only Sir Barry is still with us.

If you want to hear them live listen to their performance at the UN in Nrw York when they put up a concert called music for UNICEF in 1979 ...they got together a whole bunch of A list musicians to perform for a charity concert and donate one song to the organization....they donated this particular song and at last count the organization has collected more than 11 million dollars from royalties alone......

They are so much more than their disco era. They were singing together as boys and the tall one,Barry,is the oldest and only one still alive. Before disco,there was the ‘60’s in which they had hits such as Massachusetts 1968,I Started a Joke 1968,Words 1968. They also wrote songs that were hits for other people such as Islands in the Stream by Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers.
Robin , on the left , was the original lead singer of the group .......his " I Started a Joke " ...is big all over the reaction pages ......and is actually my favorite BeeGee s tune .

That's true music and harmady. I was so lucky to Exsperince those days with the love and passion people used to have.
They never talked about them, doin' discomusic. Seriously, it's R&B, sometimes funky on songs like 'Night Fever' or 'Jive Talking', sometimes more a ballad like for excample 'How Deep Is Your Love'. They hated to be labeled disco. In a career from the early sixties up to the beginning 2000, you can find them in every genre of modern music.
When talking about The Greatest Group, it's customary to "Bet Without The Beatles" considering they changed the WORLD not just THe World Of Music with their 230 recordings, mostly, all different. They sold twice as many LPs and Singles as the next 2 Acts combined(Elvis and MJ).
I would say, on that basis, that the fabulous Bee Gees are THe "Best Of The Rest" :)

Love, love, love the Bee Gees. I am a black female, 67 yrs old, grew up with them. (A bit lengthy, but a must read.) The Bees Gees: (from left to right) Robin, Barry and Maurice (pronounced Morris)
Robin (Dec 22, 1949 - May 20, 2012) passed away as a result of kidney failure.
Maurice - pronounced 'Morris' (Dec 22, 1949 - Jan. 12, 2003.) Passed as a result of a twisted intestine. He was in the hospital for 2 days. Barry said he had a heart attack, but the doctors still operated. He left behind his wife, Yvonne and two children. Maurice and Robin were fraternal twins.
Andy Gibb, the youngest brother, had his own successful career. He was 12 yrs younger than Barry. He and Barry looked so much alike, that they could had been twins. Andy passed away in 1988, at the age of 30. Barry stated that Andy lived the 'LA lifestyle' involving drugs, and he had heart problems. The brothers wrote all of his songs.
Barry Gibb (middle) stated, "I am the last man standing." He was born September 1, 1946. He has 5 adult children and 7 grandkids. On September 1, 2022, he and his wife Linda celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. (They were married on his 24th birthday.)
On a side note, the first born is their sister, Lesley, who turned 78, January 12, 2022. Maurice passed on the same day as her 58th birthday. Lesley didn't have an interest to be in the limelight, but she can sing. At about the age of 2, Barry reached on the table and a pot of hot tea fell on his chest and arms. You can see the shine on his chest. His mom said he did not talk for almost 2 yrs. Skin grafts were not used in the 40s, so he was in the hospital for a long time. His mom said he almost died. They wrote all of their songs, and songs for other singers, which they sang after the songs were released for the other singers. The brothers have a VERY IMPRESSIVE catalogue of songs! At one time 5 of their songs were in the top 10. Another time, four of the songs that were written by them for others were in the top 5. A song that Barry wrote for Andy was #2, but then it went to #1, and the Bee Gees song became #2!
Barry has since released a CD titled: The Gibb Brothers' Songbook (Vol. 1). (January 2021) It has more of a country sound. It includes other artists singing the brothers' songs.
As they moved into the 80s and beyond, they wrote and produced songs for other artists.

HBO did a fantastic documentary on the Bee Gees in 2020, if anyone is interested. Barry participated. Last year, the Foo Fighters did a Bee Gees tribute album called Hail Satin under the name Dee Gees. Love hearing their version of Bee Gees songs, especially Taylor Hawkins' version of Shadow Dancing. They all look like they're having fun in the video.

29th.....ahh the BeeGees....this was my HS music Class of 79 ........Saturday Night Fever was the Titanic of 1977-78 ...it was made for a Few Million - and made a Gazillion and Propelled the Already Famous BeeGees to Super Stardom Legends....I wish I would've appreciated them more when I was younger 62 now.....and Barry the Lead in this was Married and is Still Married to the same woman...
