I am a 67 year old black female. I listen to this song a LOT! The BEES GEES! I absolutely love the song! The horns and violins, the mini-orchestra. This is pure harmony. No retakes, etc. On the left is Robin - long hair (fraternal twin of Maurice (pronounced Morris...his brothers called him Mo') who is on the right. Robin passed in 2012 (age 62) - cancer. Maurice passed - 2003 (age 54) - heart problem and twisted intestines. Then there was the youngest brother, Andy. He had a very successful solo career. Unfortunately, he became involved with drugs, and other factors lead to his death in 1988, at the age of 30. He and Barry could have passed as identical twins. They wrote all of Andy's songs. The only surviving brother is Barry, (in the middle.) He and his wife Linda have been married 52 years. They have 5 adult children and 8 grandchildren. He was 76 years old on September 1, 2022. In January 2021, he released his new album, 'Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers Songbook Vol 1.' It has more of a country flair. He collaborated with other singers to complete the project. It's very nice. He and his brothers have written over 200 songs for themselves, and other singers. Worldwide -- they have sold 220 million records (probably more by now.) As children, they were very 'mischievous.' They had to decide if they wanted to be criminals or be famous. Thank goodness, they made the right decision! On a sidenote: There is a sister, Lesley who is the first born. She is 77 and lives a quiet life with her family. She can sing, but she wasn't interested to be in the limelight. This is off the " Spirits Having Flown " album , and was number 1 in America and Canada . It was both recorded and released in 1978 . Yes never doubt the BEE GEES , Your mum definitely put you on the map with them ! . They all have beautiful voices .. they know how to move you and the ladies !! 🙂 . They are 4 brothers. 3rd in the Bee Gees group. On the left is Robin Gibb, on the right is Maurice Gibb, in the middle Barry Gibb who has a maximum falsetto voice. 1 more, the youngest is Andy Gibb. The Bee Gees dominated the world music charts in the 70s. One of the phenomenal songs by young people at that time was Saturday Night Fever, which was in the disco genre

My mom used to listen to Bee Gees every Saturday while she cleaned the house and now i listen to them as i clean my home every Saturday

It's easy to tout the nice pure vocals. But the background music deserves a ton of the credit here. And the sound mix is immaculate. I just wanted to shine some light on the composers and instrumentalists. They are the REAL reason this song is so breathtaking.
