Then I took notice that all the other shoppers where singing too. It was alot of people being hit with something beautiful at the same time. That was the vibe. Out of this world. Too Much Heaven😇
Same thing happened to me at Loews with their song "NIGHT FEVER. I had to tell the guy waiting on me , to excuse me but as a disco queen in the 1970s I had no choice but to sing and groove. 😁🤣

When you interrupt without listening fully, you might not understand the meaning or concept of the message being sung, or you just want to hear your own voice without truly caring about the music.
The Bee Gee's were most definitely one of the best of all time.. I feel so sorry for Barry.... He's buried 3 younger brothers.. just can't imagine that pain... but he still keeps going on... respect.
I loved about 3/4 of the way through when he hit one of those high notes and you looked up at the camera with such a dreamy look in your eyes if you love The Bee gees music you will also love the righteous Brothers
Written by the Brothers Gibb (the Bee Gees), this song was released in 1978 when I was a junior in high school. The song was the band's contribution to the UNICEF Fund, and it has its own Wiki page if you'd like details. The Bee Gees pretty much owned the 70's but there is something about this song that just captures the essence of their unbelievable talent. It was an absolute privilege to have the Bee Gees be an integral part of the soundtrack of my teens and 20's. Only Barry is left now and the Brothers Gibb will never be the same, but OMG the music that they gifted us is an absolute treasure. And it is in fact true, that nobody gets too much heaven no more.

Also no prancing around half naked to try to distract from the fact that you can't sing for shit and are lip syncing. Wonderful! I couldn't ask for a better reaction, and I appreciate so much that you want to show respect to the old-time artists by allowing the full video/ track to play out before commenting. So much musical history on these brothers. They defined an era in the 70’s. Yet, we’re relevant in 4 decades. NO band can brag on that fact. They have written over 1000 songs. And all of their albums are their own songs. Bee Gees loved black music and considered themselves R&B. Barry Gordon of Motown said their song Jive Talkin was one of the best R&B songs he ever heard.
Your generation should bring this beautiful music back to popularity. These were good vibes songs. They relax your mind. No bad language, no machine mixing or speaking instead of singing. 😊
Keep in mind. Singing live. No auto tune. No pitch correct. Insane talent. In fact if you can name a group or human that did it better, by all means. Just incredible. Brothers Gibb. They had hits over 5 decades. You likely heard the song “Staying Alive” and just didn’t know it was them. So many try that one next. Thanks for opening the BeeGees deep vault!
Too Much Heaven. That video is from the Bee Gee's live performance at The Music for UNICEF Concert: A Gift of Song. It was a benefit concert of popular music held in the United Nations General Assembly in New York City on January 9, 1979. It was intended to raise money for UNICEF world hunger programs and to mark the beginning of the International Year of the Child. The concert was videotaped and broadcast the following day on NBC in the U.S. and around the world. The Bee Gees gave UNICEF rights to all royalties from the song. It's raised about $11 Million for UNICEF thus far. Keep in mind that in 1979, things like auto tune had not been invented yet. This is just raw talent.
Actually, the above video is not the one used for the UNICEF concert. That video has a purple light around them. th-cam.com/video/dP4HhEJ7Qtw/w-d-xo.html

I just subscribed for the respect you gave when you said you see why older folks say today's music isn't music. No voice machines, no filters, no cursing, no worshiping Satan and down talking God, no killing or robbing.... just pure... honest... real... honest music. Much love to you for your acknowledgement of what true talent is. And though you're right - there are many ways to express yourself....I just don't understand why we have to worry about what music our kids are listening to. They say when you enter heaven you hear music. Music should be ethereal, angelic...even rock with true talent can be honest and good, well back then it was. And Motown.....ugh Motown! The Temptations, the Four Tops, Smokey Robinson..... and that was in the 70s as well. 90s was the last Era for real music. The 70s was the last Era for pure honest music. And oh how I miss it. It hurts my heart it'll never be that way again.
In an old interview Barry (n the center), once said that the brothers could not read music, and that their harmonies just came naturally! Seriously their music just puts you in a mood! The Saturday Night Fever tracks make you wanna move!!! Great stuff!
This is the absolute amazing thing about music and by music I mean my generation of music 70's , 80's and you clearly got that it was a time of epic musicians, epic singers, epic arranging & production and rises far above ANYTHING in music made today. Loved ur reaction.
It is a masterpiece ,Vocal harmony, incredible falsetto... a lot of soul, life and heart put into this song that I think Barry dedicated to his only wife and lifelong companion... and who have already been married for 52 years, that's why his face looks relaxed, it reflects peace, joy but above all it reflects the heart, love, feeling singing to his wife...!!! amazing....
Glad you appreciate beautiful music. The late 50s, 60s, 70s & even into the 80s was a wonderful time to grow up as far as music is concerned. We were very lucky!
Wonderful reaction, I believe you got a bit emotional....welcome to the amazing Bee Gees. No autotune just pure talent, their live performances sound exactly like their recorded ones.
The Bee Gees, The Carpenters, Neil Diamond, Linda Rodstadt, Olivia Newton John, John Denver, & Cat Stevens were some of my childhood favorites. Absolutely pure, beautiful vocals.
Thank's for not stopping till the end, this is a pure art and a masterpiece at that. These other reactors ruin the pure emotion of these gifted artist's and you showed respect. Thank you again.
OMG, grew up in the late 70's with the Bee Gees. Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. A bunch of bangers on the soundtrack. Jive Talkin is another good song. They have hits for days. 😊
Jive Talking is a great song!!! The late 70s /early 80s were the best. We had Funk,Punk,Hard Rock, Disco, and early Rap was just the best. Run DMC :) I think Raising Hell is one of my fav albums ever. I am struggling to think of a great band that has appeared since the 90s? The 90s were awesome for music too,of course. Nirvana etc.
Kathy here - almost 69 years old and love seeing the younger generation appreciating the music I grew up with. 3 Brother, one mic and no auto tune. Will never be duplicated ever! Thanks for not stopping the video and loved your reaction! They caught you off guard with Barry's first solo riff. LOL And yes, hearing their music does bring back so many memories, of slow dancing to this one, shaking it from some of songs from Stay Alive Album.
“When you’ve got brothers singing together it’s like an instrument nobody else can buy”. - from their Broken Hearts documentary. They’re simply fabulous!
I'm 47, and this is one of my favorite songs from them. This just melts my mind, body, and soul, delivering me into a state of pure bliss. When I was younger, my precious mother would put Bee Gees music on and hold me; sometimes she would comb my hair. I'm blessed to still have her with me, and I now play this music on my phone, and we watch videos of them while I comb her hair. Beautiful, nostalgic memories. This song gives me the feeling that everything is going to be okay in my life. That's what their music does to me. For me, this music is heaven on earth. Thank you for your honest reaction to a classic from True Legends. God bless you and all who are watching and listening. Enjoy everyone!🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼🥰
A perfect reaction. You get it! How Deep is your Love, One, You Win Again, Jive Talking, Fanny be tender with my love, For Whom the Bells Toll...50 years of hits in this rabbit hole! Enjoy 😉
Hi! I'm portuguese and I've watched several reactions videos especially about this divine song. Bee Gees were part of my adolescence and youth as well as Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye and the immortal Michael Jackson and in Europe the Swedish band Abba. It's hard to describe the harmony and peace that this song has always caused me. Their voices were of an absolutely divine degree and the orchestrations of their themes exquisite and sublime. The lyrics were also fantastic because they always found an echo in our lives. I have a brother-in-law who in the 1980s often told me that the Bee Gees were amazingly good and would last through the decades. Their music sweetened our ears and warmed our hearts. Greetings from Porto, Portugal.
The Bee Gees first tried out the falsetto in "Nights on Broadway". It's very much worth a listen, and a great look into how they developed their sound and where they came from. Incredible track. ♪♪
Yes the vocals where in the upper registers, but not falsetto. It is called 'head' voice, which is much clearer and has the power falsetto cannot deliver.
These brothers had over a thousand songs written and sung by themselves from the 60s to 2003 when Mo passed. They also wrote for many other artists. These 3 and their younger brother Andy who passed away very young just as he was about to join the BeeGees were all phenomenal talents with craxy vocal range.
If you are just discovering the Bee Gees you have so much beautiful music to enjoy. They were, and are still, incredible. I can only imagine how much Barry misses his twin brothers. By the way thank you for playing the whole song before speaking.
Thank God we had a solid 4 decades (50's -80's) of music to fall back on and get re-grounded in the reality of what music was meant to do. Music is THE transcendent language meant to unify, not to devide.

Brothers Gibb. They had hits over 5 decades. You likely heard the song “Staying Alive” and just didn’t know it was them. So many try that one next. Thanks for opening the BeeGees deep vault!
I love how you appreciate the wonderful, amazingly talented Bee Gees ❤️

Memories , this one brings back lots of memories.
R.I.P. Andy,, Maurice & Robin...Thanks For ALL You Gave Us...Gone But Definitely Not Forgotten.🙏❤
Beautiful, just as they will always be remembered forever❤️❤️❤️❤️
OMG...SUCH MEMORIES!!💖💖👍 They had SO Many HITS!!👍👍 In the 70s you couldn't go to a Party without the BeeGees to dance to....they were Great!!! THANKS!!🙏🙏🙏🥰
I'm jealous lol. I was born in the wrong generation 😕
@@NAIATHEDRAGON No, no...lol!!😄 You're just where you belong..🥰🥰 But you CAN listen to some really GREAT old(er) music....have a cook-out and invite some friends...see what They think of it!👍👍 🤗🤗👍
@@NAIATHEDRAGON We REALLY had fun dancing compared to the dancing today. I won dance contest!!!!
Beautiful music, they were a special talent. My generation's music was extraordinary, love it!
Thank for listening without pausing. Really makes your reaction beautiful and real. Good job!❤
First time checking you out. Ohio here and I love The Bee Gees
Barry is close to 75 yrs old AND STILL SINGS this beautifully today
Actually he's 77.
Not just the tracks... Saturday Night Fever is an awesome movie too!
I love the Beegee,s and I was a Teenager when this music came out. It takes me back to my young Day,s. Thank,s for sharing the music.
There will never be another group like the Bee Gee's ❣❣❣ *(RIP Andy, Maurice, & Robin)* Forever in our hearts.....
This is the absolute amazing thing about music and by music I mean my generation of music 70's , 80's and you clearly got that it was a time of epic musicians, epic singers, epic arranging & production and rises far above ANYTHING in music made today. Loved ur reaction.
Never will there be another Bee Gees!!🎶🎵🎶
The greatest love song ever written AND performed. Love it!
I am 70 and the Bee Gee’s were my all time favorite and pretty much still are! They were fabulous and be sure to listen to all their songs.😊
Bee gees are my favorite group!!! Thankxxx
We were very lucky!
bee gees love you inside out
Yes you ROCK! TY
Wonderful reaction, I believe you got a bit emotional....welcome to the amazing Bee Gees. No autotune just pure talent, their live performances sound exactly like their recorded ones.
One of the best songs ever, and the voices and lyrics and orchestra.
I love the true reaction..just imagine growing up with this kind of music.
WE LOVE THE BEEGEE'S. SO SAD GOD TOOK THEM SO SOON, WHAT A GIFT
BEAUTIFUL TIMES, WONDERFUL HEART TOUCHING VOICES & A SUPPER NICE GUYS. LOVE ALL THEIR SONGS......WHAT MEMORIES I HAVE.
OMG, grew up in the late 70's with the Bee Gees. Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. A bunch of bangers on the soundtrack. Jive Talkin is another good song. They have hits for days. 😊
I thought you were in your 20s 😮
So did I
Jive Talking is a great song!!!
Same here
Kathy here - almost 69 years old and love seeing the younger generation appreciating the music I grew up with.
Blessed to have grown up with their music and saw them perform!! That is music for your soul and ears.
A lot of soul and a lot of love....no hate, no negativity, mediocrity, vulgarity, etc., etc., etc.
This might be one of my favorite BeeGees reactions. ❤️
Such a genuine reaction. That song is just beautiful.
A perfect reaction. You get it! How Deep is your Love, One, You Win Again, Jive Talking, Fanny be tender with my love, For Whom the Bells Toll...50 years of hits in this rabbit hole! Enjoy 😉
Thanks Betty!
Hi!
I'm portuguese and I've watched several reactions videos especially about this divine song.
Bee Gees were part of my adolescence and youth as well as Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Diana
Ross, Marvin Gaye and the immortal Michael Jackson and in Europe the Swedish band Abba.
It's hard to describe the harmony and peace that this song has always caused me.
Their voices were of an absolutely divine degree and the orchestrations of their themes exquisite
and sublime.
The lyrics were also fantastic because they always found an echo in our lives.
I have a brother-in-law who in the 1980s often told me that the Bee Gees were amazingly good
and would last through the decades.
Their music sweetened our ears and warmed our hearts.
Greetings from Porto, Portugal.
I love watching an entire new generation enjoying the music I grew up on!! Ahhh the memories!!!
Bee Gees....love their harmony!!
One of their best...EVER... Lyrically, vocally and just musically! And soulfully! This song has it all! BeeGees are legendary!
Great 👍 reaction!
Thank you for saying that about us old folks, I'm 58, born in 64. Saw Saturday Night Fever in the theater at 13.
The Bee Gees first tried out the falsetto in "Nights on Broadway". It's very much worth a listen, and a great look into how they developed their sound and where they came from. Incredible track. ♪♪
I gotta check that out 💯
Yes the vocals where in the upper registers, but not falsetto. It is called 'head' voice, which is much clearer and has the power falsetto cannot deliver.
Thank you, I love that song and had no idea that their signature high pitch came from it.
Love nights on Broadway!
Thank you for that beautiful tribute.
I'm glad to hear another generation appreciates the beautiful music of the Bee Gees.😅
I feel you, every time I listen to them sing, I get those feelings. Beautiful.
THANK YOU!! It gives me some hope for your generation to hear someone from it say they understand what REAL music should be and can do!!
YOU GOT IT!
This is why our generation was a much happier one. You are exactly right. It's all about you frequencies. It reacts on our soul
The BeeGees were exceptional; pure talent; their voices blended so well
Watching your reaction brought joy to my heart and happy tears. Music brings us all together.
These brothers had over a thousand songs written and sung by themselves from the 60s to 2003 when Mo passed. They also wrote for many other artists. These 3 and their younger brother Andy who passed away very young just as he was about to join the BeeGees were all phenomenal talents with craxy vocal range.
One of the Bee Gees best. I teared up. Thank you for sharing your reaction. God bless and peace.✌️
You don't know the music you missed in 70's -80's!! The Bee Gees we're incredible..The most harmonic group of guys in music! Who didn't love these guys?
Music like this just never fades away, never dies>!!!
Mom and dad had them playing in the house ALL the time with : Bee Gees , Earth a wind and Fire , The Carpenters , Anita Baker , Jodi Mitchell. Flood many memories when I hear it . You see , all the 80’s movies .. it really was like that . Incredible and soo much beautiful music .
60's and early 70's Bee Gees were amazing too
And your reaction was "beautiful and amazing." Glad you enjoyed the BeeGees. They have plenty more for you to love. 👍
I was raised with 70s and 80s music and I feel so very lucky!!!!!
