Just came across your reaction to this beautifully written, arranged...and as always, performed song by (in my opinion) the best of the best bands: the brothers Gibbs, the 'Bee Gees'. I have listened to about four or so 'REACTION' videos made by those who have never heard this song or even the Bee Gees. I've really enjoyed and appreciated the amazement and expression on their faces as they begin to listen to Mo, Robin and Barry blend their voices in perfect harmony and syncopation. I especially enjoyed watching you experience the wonder of these brothers singing this iconic song of theirs. You have a beautiful face, smile, attitude and accent. Look forward to watching more of your videos (watching here in Florida USA).
The general public didn't realize how incredibly talented the Bee Gee's were because much of the industry downplayed disco music for many decades. Now, what do you think about them? I grew up in 70's loving the Bee Gee's because I grew up in a family of musicians and singers knowing just how difficult it is to sing at this level. Their harmonies are incredible, and I have yet, to hear anyone or group with their level of ability. Sadly, Barry is the only Bee Gee to still be alive. I play their music almost daily. They are incredible.
They performed disco but didn't represent it like many people today think they did. They covered many types of music before during and after the disco craze. They did what worked at the time.
@@nasaafricareactslifestyle Here is a beautiful song for you to review, the band is called Deacon Blue and they are from Scotland, here are one of their songs th-cam.com/video/PwxZhwlbfOE/w-d-xo.html

I’m not kidding you when I tell you this I am 59 I saw the Bee Gees in 1978. They are one of my favorite groups of all time. Every time I hear this song it gives me goosebumps and brings me to tears. This was pure, raw, emotion. I love how Robin just stands there with his hands on his hips and sounds like an angel.
You were looking intently at Barry and listening to what he was saying the entire time. It's wonderful to be carried along with lyrics of love, isn't it?
There are not many things in life as nice as seeing a beautiful woman hear this song for the first time. I consider myself blessed to have grownup in a time when men sang about how much they love their woman rather than calling them bitches.
I grew up with the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, is that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this, they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over years, & crossed many genres 😍
The girls are skeptical of the stuff they laying down at the first crescendo, but the second one always gets them. They close their eyes and start to rock back and forth on the second solo of Barry. Watch!!!
the bee gees changed the face of music , they always try to make their songs reach the peak of perfection , to me they are the best music group ever , react to ( staying alive , for whom the bell tolls , Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow , Dimensions , tragedy m secret love , someone belonging to someone , how can you mend a broken heart ) and so many everlasting hits they had created

Then, acceptance and amazement. Wonder. Then the eyes begin to smile. Joy sneaks in, and a relaxation. Never fails.

In terms of sounding "calm", if you want a beautiful, calming love song you really need to check out How Deep Is Your Love. But the Bee Gees could definitely get your blood pumping as well, and if you want to start shaking your body during a song, check out Staying Alive, Night Fever, or You Should Be Dancing. They were an incredibly talented, and versatile, group. Brings me back to my high school and college years!
It’s sad that we don’t have this type of music anymore. The taste of music lovers has changed so you have young talent that doesn’t go in the direction of the Bee Gees or those who want to write mellow music for a good listening. We have to go back to the 60s 70s and 80s.
You're the first reactor I've seen, and I've seen a lot, whose jaw didn't drop as soon as they start singing. You looked like it was hurting your ears even though you said at the end you liked it. These brothers were so very talented. They gave all the proceeds from this song to charity. Miss these guys together. RIP Robin and Maurice.
Oh! You're playing my heart! The one in the middle with that awesome falsetto voice is my soulmate Barry Gibb. On either side are the twins, Robin and Maurice. BeeGee stands for Brothers Gibb. The twins are both gone now. The brothers music career has spanned 5 decades. Barry works now with his sons on their music. They've always written their on music and lyrics. Even as teenagers, their talent was undeniable. They wrote songs for other artists as well. Even before they were widely known. They wrote To Love Somebody for soul legend Otis Redding. Otis died before he could record it. They recorded it themselves in 1967. Barry was only 10 years old. Robin and Maurice were 16. The Gibb family was amazingly talented. They also had a younger brother named Andy Gibb. Andy had a great solo career of his own. Sadly, he died when he was only 30 years old. Andy left behind a 10 year old daughter (Peta) when he died. The mother (Barbara Gibb) of all this talent died in 2016. She was 95.
