Ruger American mods. Stock cut to shorten the length of pull the easy way on my Predator

I used a Limb Saver recoil pad # 10824 that fits the Ruger American compact. Then added a Matthew’s Fabrication cheek rest. It’s a standard Bearpaw right. There Is a third hole inside the stock that matches perfectly with the smaller Ruger American compact rifle butt pad when you cut 1 inch off of the stock.

Classy salvage of a factory stock. I got my boy a 10/22 not realizing the length of pull is too long for him. That's what brought me here.

Should work. Take the butt pad off and see if the other mounting boss is in there

Simple uncomplicated average garage installation. You just show that is can be done if you try.

Nice mods but did you know that I If you call Ruger customer service you can purchase a magwell conversation kit for $25.95 that allows you to use AI or AR magazines. I'm in Florida and I have it on my 6.5 Predator and I use 30 round .308 AR magazines. Supposedly you can also use M1/M14 mags but I cannot attest to that. Enjoy 😂

Limbsaver Part# 10824 fit nice once the standard stock is cut down an inch.

@@benjaminkubrick3461 The Tikka is different. It won't work the same. You have to take it apart and measure to see what you can fit on there. Probably need a grind to fit pad and more stock mods to attach it.
