Was a medical officer on board. Right after evening chow we were in medical and I just happen to look up at the TV and watched it happen. Very surreal. Pilot did have a fracture to his tibia but not an open fracture. Well done to the deck crew who jumped on his chute and kept him out of the water. We were off of Australia at the time heading for Arabian gulf.

After I retired I moved to a small rural town. This town date back to about 1880. I started metal detecting about 10 years ago and have pretty much detected every place, house, park, farm site, yard that I could. Found lots of old money, tokens, jewelry and lots and lot s of junk !

I'm curious to what you had to give for it. I would be excited to. First thing I would do is clean everything out of it, pull the seats, sweep it out. If the floor looks good then put some new carpet in and go from there.

What actually happened

Run it a little wet, not a lot just a little. most people say it takes a few 100 rounds to break in, I installed the m carbo spring kit, took trigger pull down to about 3 1/2 lb and breaks pretty clean. Was a huge upgrade, an easy install and well worth the $25

action smooths out after cleaning and multiple boxes. your pinky extends beyond the mag alittle. they have an 8 round mag with longer extension. also nice rifle looks like the 16 in barrel.

I work on a lot of Arctic Cat ATVs and hell, I just bought 2 feet of fuel hose and cut it into pieces the same length as the seal but it’s crazy to think some people think the pump is bad and replace the pump when more than likely it’s a faulty seal hahaha

I was with VF-154 that night, prepping my jet aft of the island. I had my back to the cats, when the flight deck lights up. I saw the hornet drop of the deck, the the chute coming down. Then a group of us starting running toward the parachute. It was surreal moment on the flight deck. The next day, the squadron had another hornet hooked up the launch bar, and i believe it was the squadron's MO and had his face above the launch bar, when broke free again, hitting him in the face. Some bad mojo in that squadron.

Awesome to see how everybody came running to help with no hesitation.

Classy salvage of a factory stock. I got my boy a 10/22 not realizing the length of pull is too long for him. That's what brought me here.

So was this a standard adult size stock or the compact stock?
