Any suggestions for an extra-tall guy? I'm about 6'11" (210cm) and it looks like the cross rope stuff is only sized for guys about 6'3" and under. In college, I used a clothesline rope - no handles just weight lifting/fingerless gloves - probably one of the reasons I gave up on jumping rope. Would the ropeless options work for a total noob right from the go or are they better suited for intermediate/advanced jumpers already strong on form/endurance/etc? Thanks.
I am 14 years old. I found this channel like 1 year ago and started jumping 6 months later. I am 6'1" just for contest. And i was 240 lbs down to 200lbs so I lost 40 lbs because of this channel. So truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Also i live in NY and would love to do a meet up at Niagara falls.
Hi from Malaysia!👋🏽 I’m a lady age 50th liking this video and doing it almost everyday now! Thank you for the great video that I’m able to follow through! 😆
i just received my new ropeless 1/2 lb ropes. I usually use the 1/2 lb rope to do workouts; cordless worked my biceps and shoulders. The weights on the ropeless along with the centrifugal force pulling at the weights as they spin force my shoulders and biceps to "wake up". I am 61 and started this jump rope journey a year ago; I just broke through the plastic coating on my 1/2 rope...that is a lot of jump rope jumping!!! I love these ropes; definitely they best! Thank you Dan and Jump Rope Dudes for being my jump rope journey partners
I've been heavy my entire life. A friend linked me to your channel and suggested I check out your videos. This has inspired me to try to lose some weight. In June 2024, I was weighing 252 lbs. As of September 2024, I'm down to 230 lbs. Mostly been watching what i eat and cutting down on the sugary drinks and having more water. I'm just starting to get into the exercise part. Thank you for these videos and inspiration. I'll update after my next doctor appointment and next weigh in. I did want to know, can I still jump rope without a rope? I don't have much room in the basement for such.
I'm 6'1 and at my heaviest at 230 lbs. Spent a good portion of the last decade sitting behind a desk at an office and then going home and drinking beer at night. My weight always goes straight to my face and stomach. I cut out alcohol the entire month of October. Since the beginning of November I've only had a few drinks here and there but nothing like what I was consuming. It was basically a 6 pack a night that ended up becoming a habit over the years. Looking forward to starting off this year and cutting my weight down finally. Enjoy the content and channel.
That’s incredible, keep up the great work! It’s crazy how much alcohol affects our mind and body, but cutting back on it always feels great in the end!
Just want to thank you for the work on the channel. I've been working on dropping some weight and improving my physical fitness and your work here has been a big part of it. I never would have thought I'd be jumping rope, but here I am. Picked up a Crossrope a week ago, and don't regret it. It was more than I ever thought I'd pay for a jump rope, but although I had some decent other ropes, but this was a noticeable improvement. Made sure to drop your channel as the reason for choosing that company during my order. Right now I'm able to do a basic jump and cross over, and will likely focus there until I can be consistently jumping with good technique, but will continue to watch and use these as motivation.
33 in November. I got really big into your channel and jumping rope in 2020, since then have had 3 daughters and put on about 20-30lbs. Just starting back up with my ropes today, gunna try to lose the weight by the end of the year. Thanks for the awesome content over the years
Just chiming in again because I just completed this. It was excellent. I appreciate that as a beginner I still feel like I’m included because you give call outs to people not up to the more advanced skips (like me). I like the mix of other exercises in with the jumping, so I’ll be jazzed to see more of those as you feel inclined to make them. Cheers!
Best workout in the world I love all your workouts this is just outstanding 🥰I skip 500 and I do at least 250 on abbs with a calorie deficit and clean eating and the results is amazeing🥰🥰🥰great job
Saving this to my playlist, and I'm getting right on it at 7. I wanted to start to incorporate the ropes into my workout somehow and I stumbled upon this video.
I used this one as a finiser today (after your 30 mins follow along from this week). It was mentally nice and fun after a very straight forward 3000 skip workout.
I used to jump rope every other day. I did 8 rounds 3 minutes of work 1 minute of rest. I got decent results when I did that on a rowing machine so I figured why not try it with a jump rope. I like to believe that it helped with my running speed.
I have a question if you have time. So been doing all the workouts and I’m pretty good at skipping. I do 30 minute workouts most days. 30 on 20 off with a phone timer. I get through these workout ok. Using 1/4, 1/2 and a speed rope alternating footwork. Following a lot of the stuff you advise. I am also boxing trying to do 3 minute rounds of skipping for my boxing. Finding this to be a struggle even though I am in pretty good shape and do the 30 minute workouts. Any advice on how to make the three minute skipping rounds less painful?
It will happen with time Focus on strengthening your arm like pushup and Pull Up if you can You can try medium paced 10 min without rest It will build stamina and endurance🎉🎉 Hope it helps
@@BruceWayne-us3kw yes, the first 6 months most likely. It is not recommended to be in a deficit and resistance training, probably in a slight surplus, unless you are overweight.
200-300 euros - dollars for a jumping rope? here in the village i can find one, for nothing and it does the same job. What do they some 'smart' people selling? sorry but no.

I love these workouts and I think making a new one each week is going to be a greater motivation to " doing the thing"..
Great workout! I’ve come back to it a few times already. I like that there’s a bit of upper body in addition to the abs moves. Thank u!

Love the banter in between.

Day 2, Done. Honestly I feel like I gotta puke 🥲 maybe I drank too much before? Or maybe my breakfast was too big today

U said the PDF was free. It's not
yes it is, you just enter your email and it will be sent to you.
One thing to not forget, if you don't have enough muscle mass it will be pointless to lose fat unless you are overweight.
If you’re a newbie you will build muscle while losing fat at the same time from any kind of resistance training. Good old newbie gains.
