- Here are the first shots with the Ruger Ranch 5.56 suppressed. The ultimate test is with a water jug at 100 yards. Also, rather than using the 168 grain OTM 223 rounds that it is sighted in with, we test it using some 5.56 SP 55 grain. The point of impact is not so far off at 100 yards. While not on paper the test still proves that it is capable with the 55 grain and being suppressed. Of course I'd adjust the actual sighting if I planned on hunting with it suppressed and with the lighter rounds.

I have the same Ruger American Ranch in 5.56! I love it, super fun gun, and cheap to reload for. Suppressors are prohibited in Canada so no luck there. Mike.
I love shooting this little gun. I normally have it in my truck for when I'm out at the property. I love just shooting water bottles and steel with it, but it is ready to shoot a pig or two if need be.

Thanks Ken. Yeah I was amazed with my first 5 shot group on paper with this rifle. I didn't have the suppressor on it at the time but i got a .60 group. I need to see what it does with the suppressor on it.

Thanks FLS. I missed an opportunity to get one at a guns show in 450BM. Had a scope on it, a couple of boxes of ammo and was 500 bucks even. Still kicking myself over that one.

Yes sir! I actually picked up the rifle to be mainly a range plinker, but man does it soot well.
I have the RAR in 7.62x39 and 450 Bushmaster, now I need the 5.56 and 300 BLK to complete the ranch collection. would also love the 6.5 Grendel but ammo isnt as common.
Those are certainly two good ones to have and two good ones to get. I'm like you, I have the 5.56 and 300 BLK now I need the 7.62x39 and the 450 Bushmaster to round out the collection.
@@cervus-venator they are great handling rifles, I love the size and can’t beat the performance for the money. I dropped my 450 into a boyds prefit stock with an AR mag inlet and it works great, so I did the same with the 7.62x39, love using AR mags since they are generally easier and cheaper to find.

I love my Lil ruger ranch in 300blk subsonic w a can it's amazingly quiet. You have a sweet setup. Looked liked a SilencerCo can.
Yes Kody it is the Omega. I have a 300 blk out Ruger Ranch too. I love shooting the sub-sonic ammo out of it with the the can on it. Sounds like an air rifle at time.

Interesting video and nice shooting C-V. Those quick detach muzzle devices are the only way to go IMO.
Same Gort on the QD muzzle device. I don't want to do it any other way.

HI 👋 This is a Silencerco Omega 30. The cover is also a Silencerco brand. I bought this originally for my 300 black out, but I use it on anything 30 caliber and below. It works well on all of them. I do not use it on rimfire such as 22lr. I have another suppressor for that.
Does that suppressor make it front heavy
