I'm Anna Bea and I'm a social worker in Atlanta working in a clinical setting with incarcerated youth. I'm a big social work gal & received my BSW from the University of Alabama in 2021 and my MSW from Fordham University in 2022. I'm currently in the process of obtaining my LMSW (waiting on the board to approve my application at this point). Hey Anna! Me again (I know I’m all over the place😂❤) The internship I just got is actually going to be working with a non profit organization. I’m going to be working with youth and families, taking part in community organizing, group therapy and other stuff too. Case management is another thing I’ll be doing too!

ahh that's incredible!! Be ready to be aware of personal biases you may bring in (because we've all got them). You may come in contact with some tough cases, so make sure to lean on a support system and take care of yourself 💗💗

Hi Anna, I am doing MSW and I need to prepare Learning Plan. But, I could not understand how I can put references. Do I need citation as well?
If so, how to put citations on tables? My learning plan is made in a table.

Since I am already in the field when I have to start my internship in the fall, should I do my internship where I work, or should I venture out and do it somewhere else?
I think it depends on what you're hoping to gain from it! If you're loving where you work and think it'll be a setting you can continue to learn in, then it may be a great fit for an internship. But if you're itching to pivot in the focus of your work at all and are looking for an opportunity to do so, your internship could be the time to try something new :)
