Adding salt to your night water bottle helps a lot . Drinking water is good but it will also flush out your electrolytes if you don’t add your own. But I agree with another comment saying you don’t want to overdue it adding too many electrolytes. Everything in moderation. Also I’m not a dr but when it happens to me, I take a closed fist and repeatedly hit the back of my half to stop the cramp.

I definitely feel you with the exhaustion! The first few years of my 20s I felt like that - looking back I think it was how much work impacted my personal life. It’s better now but I definitely still have the seasons were I just have to push myself through it. Also, I love the DJI osmo pocket 3 and there are so many helpful guide videos on TH-cam!

Hello! My name is Nwajinma, and I am a graduate student at the University of Kentucky pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW). Could you please share how you became a medical social worker? I am currently earning my MSW and aspire to work in the NICU or pediatrics here in Georgia. Next semester, I will be starting my foundation practicums at the City of Hope in Newnan, GA, which I am very excited about. However, for my last two advanced clinical practicums, I would love the opportunity to work in the NICU or pediatrics. ​Gaining experience in these areas would help me secure a position as a NICU or pediatric social worker, whether at a children's hospital or organizations like WellStar, Grady, or Piedmont.

Hi Anna! I love your videos. I recently became very interested in social work and your content has been such great insight. I am not sure if you have a video about your experience obtaining your BSW (expectations to have when starting out, how to choose which school you attend, etc.), but if you haven’t would you ever consider making one? Getting started has been incredibly intimidating and I have been having a hard time narrowing down a school post gen eds at my community college. The ones near me are incredibly costly so I wasn’t sure if out of state online programs were a better option or if that was even possible due to field placements. Thanks for everything you do! You inspired me to consider going back to school after a 4-year gap and I would love more information on how to get started in social work academically.

Totally off topic, is there a degree to learn about social work without a practicum? I am very interested in child welfare, and have the time to do a masters, but won't have time to do a practicum for many years. Is there something like an MSW without a practicum? Also interested in child development and could go that route to work on child welfare policies one day. Thanks!

I'm a student going for my BSW and I've been volunteering for a helpline for a few years, and recently realized I'm unsure how to support someone who has a strong relationship with a religion. Do you have any advice on how you support clients who practice religion different from your beliefs or resources to help educate on different religions? (I'm also open to taking advice from anyone else if they have ideas!) Thank you <3

As a social worker at a hospital, I do a lot of the nitty gritty discharge planning along with the case manager. I definitely resonate with what you said regarding social work getting the blame when things go wrong but when things go particularly well, social work gets no credit.
