Hey Anna! So I think I’ve mentioned it before. I want to work in the school system as a school social worker, maybe a counselor. I have also thought about working in the college system perhaps. However, as you’ve worked at the hospital I am curious to know..how do you take care of yourself emotionally in this line of work?😢

I want to work with kids as a social worker, either as a medical social worker or school social worker. Losing a child client will definitely be hard. Especially as a parent myself. But the work is so important that I can use my emotion and turn it in to passion. To help prevent potential emotional burnout.

I ended up taking a half day the day after the election and have been staying off Social Media. I am in Minnesota and we voted blue. But I am avoiding the,fear,inducing posts,on Social media also.

For a long time I thought I’d get a job where I can make a lot of money but I dealt with cps a lot as a kid and they never helped and recently I’ve realized I wanna help kids who were in the same kinds of situations as me and hopefully try and help them even though I wasn’t able to be helped!! Plus I love working with kids and always thought I’d be a pediatrician or something

I'm starting my SSW (social service worker) program here in Canada in January! I'm so excited to start my education in social work. Your videos helped me made the decision to pursue social work. I hope to do my BSW and MSW after graduating. I think I'd like to work as a school social worker or medical social worker, and I'm hoping I can get experience with that during my placements :)

So confusing how licensing is different in every state. I’m in Ohio, got my LSW with my BSW, then got my masters, took the clinical exam and stayed an LSW until I finished my training supervision. Then I became an LISW. However the requirements have changed here and now social workers have to graduate with the msw, work for 2 years, complete the training supervision and then they can finally take the clinical exam to become an LISW. Social workers go through so much! Thanks for sharing this content!

I'm a BSW major in the accelerated MSW program and about to start practicum this summer! I'm a stay-at-home mom to three (adult learner over here) and often feel isolated because my education has been online. I'm worried about my practicum hours because I have to find a virtual placement. I love watching your videos; I feel like I have a community. Keep doing what you're doing

Wow! Covering those 3 different floors sounds like a large caseload! At my internship i get stressed when my supervisor gives me 4 patients to handle! I give you props Anna!💕 how do you like peds btw? My hospital is mainly the elderly.
