Hey Social Workers!
In this video I wanted to share 4 types of Social Work field placements that you should look into if you work full time. Working and holding an internship presents a unique set of challenges that can be hard to balance and manage. As a result, you may experience a high degree of overwhelm or procrastination because you literally feel that you have waaay too much on your plate.
I hope this video will give you a few options to consider so that you don't feel like you have to choose between supporting your family financially or continuing your education! Because who wants to make that choice!
*Correction
I do have one correction to the video. I indicated that the Learning Contract will help define your career goals. That is not correct. Your Learning Contract will outline your professional goals related to the skills and knowledge that you plan to acquire during your placement... not your career goals. That is why I created the Internship Goals Sheets for you..so that you can begin thinking long term about your career.

amazing video! thankyou for the advice!
Thank you for sharing some great information. You really gave some good insight on different areas I can consider even if it's not long-term. This is my current situation, looking for field placement. New subbie!
Happy I came across your channel. You gave alot of food for thought
Thank you for the information. I have my second part of my internship coming up next year. This was very helpful.
Wow this is so helpful! God bless you!
Very helpful ❤
The field requirement placement especially for for folks already working in the sector is problematic and likely contributes to a shortage of social workers. I wish there was some adjustment in this area
Do you have any additional suggestions for 24 hour places? I am not getting any responses.
Horrible advice
atleast she’s done something with her life and is encouraging and helping others to provide support to the community, all you’ve done is been a miserable and bitter troll xoxo
