    I’ve owned mine for approx 6 months and absolutely love it as well! Never noticed the Tudor shield cut out hole in the clasp until you pointed it out!

    As date wheel issues are repaired and they are less and less frequent I can see this being a desirable watch again. Nice review.

    I've had mine for about 2 years with no issues and love it. Comments regarding the bezel are spot on. Regarding AD in Chicagoland, Swiss Fine Timing (downtown and northern suburb locations) has Zenith among other great brands. At least they were an AD last time I visited Chicago about a year ago.

    There is something very honest about Tudor. The only thing that puts me off this piece is it being a little top heavy as you say. Great review Chris 👏

    Hey Chris! This is definitely the best Tudor GMT review on YT!! Congrats 👏👏 After the second repair last May, mine has been working perfectly. Tudor seems to have fixed the date issue at last! Since you mentioned the hour markers size, I just did a comparison and they are actually smaller on the BB GMT than on the BB58. That is to allow the extra space for the GMT hand which almost reaches the extremities of the dial. Cheers! 🍻

    Great review Chris. I’ve had this watch about 18 mos and no date wheel issues for me. It is bulky but I have an 8.5” wrist so I don’t mind. It is tall so I have dinged the case side. I saw a different YT review where the reviewer swapped out the bracelet for a vulcanized blue/red strap from Crafter Blue. I ordered that strap and it really helps with the weight and comfort. The rubber negates any sliding around due to the watch being top heavy. Problem is the rubber end link makes it very hard to get a grip on the bezel. Enjoy the watch

    • @The_Vanilla_Guerilla
      @The_Vanilla_Guerilla ปีที่แล้ว

      Did the factory Tudor bracelet fit your wrist size?

    • @Minny2Raleigh
      @Minny2Raleigh ปีที่แล้ว

      @@The_Vanilla_Guerilla No. Very few bracelets will fit my wrist without having to add at least a link or two. I started going with a burgundy leather strap for this watch and it looks great. The Crafter Blue rubber is nice but it sits very close to the bezel so it is difficult to turn. This is still a great watch.

    100% agree with the weight, I have a small wrist @ 6 5/8 I bought the nato strap as an extra and it really shrinks it down and takes the weight off. I still swoop it back on bracelet but its more comfortable for me on nato.

    I’ve had mine about 6 months longer than u chris. I’ve never had an issue with the date wheel. It changes at 12 on the spot. I agree with the bezel not being as satisfying but it’s less than half of the batgirl so I expect that and like u said even that batgirl isn’t near as satisfying as a hulk or cermit or the Red Sea dweller. Love the content though keep em coming.

    I find that using a leather strap on a top heavy watch makes it fit much more comfortably. I've got a heuer autavia chronograph which i wanted to return because it felt so top heavy and imbalanced on the stock bracelet. I put it on a leather strap and it now feels so much better and it doesn't swing around on my wrist

    Just a beautiful watch, reminiscent of vintage Rolex GMTs from the late 1970s and early 80s.
    You simply cannot complain or criticise the watch in any way, when you consider its retail price, it represents outstanding value for money.
    Beautiful manufacturing quality, at a fairly affordable price, it just feels and performs like a watch costing quite a bit more.
    I am lucky enough to own both watches, and there is little if any difference in manufacturing quality.
    Obviously a modern Rolex is made to higher standards, with more expensive materials, but comparing the Black Bay GMT with a vintage Rolex GMT, their near identical in quality.
    The only real difference, is the glaring price disparity, my 1978 GMt is worth considerably more than my Tudor Black Bay, but is not really reflected in the quality.
    Tudor have come a very long way, and thats thanks to their sister company Rolex

    What a beautiful piece. You would be hard pressed to find a better watch for $4000. The Pepsi colors are cartoonish, and the brushed bracelet is so nice here vs the jubilee. And at a fourth of the price. This Tudor would look really nice on a saddle leather strap.
    I wish they would use the square hour indices like the Pelagos, as it matches the snowflake better.

      I have both the Tudor GMT and the blue dial Pelagos. The Pelagos gets way more wrist time. I love the gray of the titanium and the legibility of the blue dial and white markers. Something I don’t see much in the reviews but worth mentioning is the AR coating on the Pelagos crystal. It is the best in the biz. The crystal just about disappears under normal conditions.

I did love the watch but it's a pretty poor state of affairs when Tudor can't release a watch costing £3k to change date properly when much cheaper watches I've used for years have never had this problem.
