Omeega in my honest opinion blow Rolex away. I have both. I never wear my Rolex. I go for my omega every single time. And I get frowns on the Rolex. I’m going to sell it and buy another omega.

Nice watch but it’s been polished….outside links should be should be brushed; inner high polished. Your whole bracelet is high polished.

Have several Rolex watches, and THIS is easily the most beautiful watch made by Rolex. I had a lot of doubt about buying an yellow gold 2 tone...but when I put this on, the first thought that came to my mind is, why did I not buy this sooner? It is absolutely stunning. The proportions, the color.. just perfect!

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and don’t have an issue with the thickness of the case.

I am currently in the market for one of these watches. I would be over the moon once I find that perfect specimen, but I can’t imagine the sentimental value of being inherited from your father. My small two cents is never polish that watch and carry on the markings in honor of your father.

Can’t beat a Bluesy! It’s fun having a bracelet that you admire as much as the actual dial. The clasp is long but catches the light very nicely in the sunlight and just looks great. I’ll hold off selling my steel Sub - that one’s been in too many adventures over the years and it’s nice having both new and old ceramic variants of this piece. The Sub Date is the iconic Rolex.

I heritage the exame same from my father. 49 years ago he bought it. Never serviced. Still working perfectly.
