You slipped up Adam you should’ve got in there while Paul was elsewhere and put a huge strap on in one of them boxes be hilarious Paul opening them up on camera 🎥 😂😂😂👍 what a find man no wonder he’s happy . All that stuffs as rare as rocking horse shit 😂

heres a bit Paul doesnt know: DJR run out of seirra diffs from ford and Dick and DJR built their own. and you could buy one from Dick. they were designed around a 9' inch differential the only one they ever blew was the one they forgot to put oil into.
@@goosegarage78 Sorry mate , i was fully aware of the Harrop story , it was Dick who got them homologated , then once BTCC drivers had heard about them quite a few ended up on there cars . My DJR car still has its Harrop diff fitted , there a fully locked diff

Paul's enthusiasm is amazing and infectious, I was smiling watching him open the boxes and listen to his genuine excitement. The spares could not have gone to a better man. Great video Adam, TH-cam gold mate.
I helped Paul open and unload these containers , boxes , car shells etc, to say he was excited was an understatement . He knows his stuff and his passion and attention to detail is next level. Was a workout moving /racking all these parts. Great video Adam .

Best video yet Adam. This is true Ford royalty. It’s not just a project for Paul this is a project for Ford racing history and RS500 stewardship. Paul is a custodian giving future generations the ability to see these cars. The guy deserves an MBE for preserving these car’s and his services to motor racing. A genuine genuine Ford hero. Also Adam you’ve been brought up right, always very polite around other people’s property asking if it’s okay to open doors, boxes etc class that lad.
I am a die-hard Toyota man but that video was very enjoyable and very interesting he has an unbelievable passion for the blue oval fair play 👌👌👌👌 great video
Love these cossie vids Adam.... 🙏 Paul linfoot is the bollocks for anything cosworth.. He knows everything numbers historical knowledge racing padigree cosworth a legend
Hi Adam and Paul, I've just had an hour and half of jaw dropping OMG moments, what a collection of Cozzie heaven. That shell… perfect and totally unused, I could go on and on, everything you looked at was just unreal. Never to be repeated it felt like a privilege to even be seeing it all. As always thanks Adam for the video and thanks Paul for the access, better than any Christmas looking into those boxes..!! Cheers, Alex.
The best hour and half I’ve spent in years . Being a fordy myself I was getting excited about what was in each box as he probably was . A chance of a lifetime that rarely occur . If anyone deserves that container it’s Paul .
1 if the best videos I have watched I'd love to go see these cars Paul is amazing his enthusiasm is on another level to him it must if been like winning the lottery getting this opportunity he deserves this opportunity
This is a blast from the past. I worked for DJR during Radisich's stint. I saw that Sierra in the museum and thought it was rough. I never knew it was a show car. Fooled me. I'm not surprised Dick still has parts for the Sierra's. He's a pack rat, never threw anything away. (I remember the roof at Daisy Hill!) Good luck with your build Paul. I'll keep an eye out for updates
Best video yet Adam 🙌 Erection section 😂 I’d be walking about everyday with a Semi owning all these cossies and parts 👍👍 Paul is some man could listen to him talk Cossies all day
Although I do not know the particular person they are so giddy about, it’s truly great to see the passion that these guys have. I get it, if I were to come across a haul like that of someone that I knew I would be just as giddy. The simple fact that he has almost has enough to just bolt a car together and have most spares is incredible. As a American race car builder of over 40 the passion is not lost on me. Good for you!
I honestly clicked on this video thinking there's no way I would be watching all 78 minutes of it but here I am at the end having being hooked on every second of it!
Wow! If any man deserves to get these it's Paul. Not about money more about his chance to handle them and make that dream replica. Fantastic content Adam.
I love how he knows these cars inside out I'm a bit like that with mk2 (and 1) escorts. If you give me a bolt (any bolt) I'm pretty sure I can tell you where it goes. Even though it's been nearly 30 years since I sold My last Mk2!
Adam been watching your stuff your doing a brilliant job mate you and Paul are ace on this videos I love you and Paul, don’t think Paul’s interested in the money just buzzing of the cars and parts etc,my opinion he deserves all the parts and cars because of his wisdom etc,Paul can you train me up on rs500s then I can pass on the knowledge you have,Adam top videos pal, really enjoy watching ❤️

Speechless...what an amazing upload, best hour spent on TH-cam. Thanks Paul for giving Adam the access to your Aladdin cave of amazing parts! Can't wait to see you complete the build 👍
2 grown men just went threw Xmas then just lije i did watching that i was over Adams shoulder trying to help lift them boxs. That magic 909 number & seeing real parts not photos in mags i grew up reading as a teen. Very special video fellas thank you.
This is utterly amazing. I'm speechless. Incredible to think Dick and Ryan were just sitting on all this stuff, given their respective commitments with current racing it's completely understandable all this stuff was just sitting in a shed somewhere virtually forgotten about for years. It's so great plans are in motion once again and a new car will soon be turning wheels. I couldn't think of anyone better to be running the project than the DJR blokes and Paul. Truly great news. I look forward to watching the progress, keep us updated Adam! All those parts...... ye gods, what a magnificent hoard.
Unbelievable video Adam and well done Paul securing all these parts and history - look forward to seeing the 2 cars built from these amazing parts. Great to hear the New Zealand connections mentioned early in the clip. Cheers from NZ!
Opening that garage door to that place for me is like the gates of heaven opening up! 😍 such a passionate lad, definitely knows how to be happy in life because you could never be miserable if your sat in a Cossie of any description especially if it’s Eggenberger spec (sorry if that’s misspelt) no car will even come close to the race record, the appreciation, the beauty, the success and just sheer character and identity of the Sierra and Escort RS Cosworths!
Wow, love all your vids with Paul, rs 500 historian. How cool for him getting to build 2 cars and already has all the parts, that's what most people dream of, can't wait to see the progress of the builds, 👍👍👌👌
What a treasure trove! Ended up in the best hands possible! Maybe one reason the rear arms were changed from magnesium to aluminium is that mag is more prone to cracking around any stress raisers, and more importantly magnesium loses significant stiffness at high temperatures (80-100 deg C), which may be an issue with the exhaust being near.
It's amazing the amount of stuff there and all the new gear with the proper racing gear. But what freaks me out more than how special all those parts are is that they were here in Australia!!! Wonder if the Bowden's knew about this lot when it was here? Mind blowing episode, totally mind blowing.
