Its nice having a Mechanic dad to help u, mine passed away in 2016 and i thank him everyday for all he taught me and helped me with. I carried on the family mechanic torch and it goes back generations. Spend all the time u can with dad and learn all u can before he is gone, there are still times i wish i could call dad about some old air cooled Porsche i was working on. Even if i didn't need help i would still have him come down to the shop.
Seriously, Wtf. I'm not even a car guy and you've managed to convince me to watch two of your videos - 6 hrs worth in the last two days. wow. Amazing production, story and people!
the greatest thing about your channel is watching you and your dad share those moments and love. its a special thing. i hope it continues for years to come
I have to say, this video had me benched for three hours. But the thing that binds me to it is not just cars it's just the way you are, you seem so honest and genuine and I guess that you got it from your dad, he also seems like a totally bonkers dad, honest and just nice to be around. Keep on rocking, much love 🤙
Adam not wanting to meet up speaks volumes to what kind of a person he is, no need to make excuses for him. If that crash was so traumatic he would have been videoing everything right after it happened.
Correct. Everything looks better in this video. The store, the roads, the cars and everything just looks bigger and better. The other videos just look too claustrophobic, with a lot of small roads, public parking lots smaller than that of home parking lot and garage space in the US, lots of 90's and 00's car, old cheap carriers and trucks and caps, cheap small hatchbacks in the background. UK houses, infrastructure and cheap small cars just looks and feels 1920's. Filming in America seems such a relief and feels like you can finally relax and breathe in comfortably for a minute. It feels like he filmed for the firm time in a developed country. The best video so far.
Lookee here, I'm not even a Porsche fan but THIS VIDEO just may have changed my mind. In life, the best things are the memories we make and then look back on. Mat, you and Freddie and the entire crew should be so proud of yourselves. The three hours of video we all just watched are a testament to just how great life can be. No politics at all. We just watched people having more fun than they could dream of. Taking a totaled-out wreck of a car and not only putting it all back together but figuring things out as you go was so entertaining to watch it is literally indescribable. This was young, very nice people consumed by their passion for fast cars. Congratulations to all involved in bringing the world up a few notches. Better than any movie you have ever seen or will see. Just terrific!!
I’m on vacation and spending time watching your videos. This is fantastic! Couldn’t stop watching. I’m a 56 year old grandma who loves this channel. I’m learning so much!
The world would be a better place if we were all gear-heads. Heart warming to see 2 guys from different parts of the world come together and help each other like this. Love both your channels ! Happy Hollidays gents !
Poor Adam !!! I can't believe that damn truck cut him off. I can't believe all the hard work and flying back and forth from UK to Florida with parts. Total passion ! Wow, ONE seat costs more than the nicest car I've ever owned. I can't believe the stress of knowing the frame a millimeter off will do damage. Mat, you have proven HWBT and you're living your dreams ! Tennessee is a bucket list destination for me.
I can’t believe how much work must go into making these videos. Matt must spend hours just doing this TH-cam stuff. Problem is people will want more and more content - hope he doesn’t burn out.
I can't even sit still for a 3 hour movie, but this... this was epic. My favorite Porsche, my favorite color, and favorite TH-camr. Mat, you've clearly impacted hundreds of thousands of people with your videos. Seeing you and your dad on this is amazing to witness. Cheers to everything!
Sooo happy Tavarish got/bought it, and Im sure he will enjoy driving it. Also for letting you build the car at his unit and the many other things behind the scenes he has done for you!
I cannot emphasize enough how much I appriciate the resourcefulness of you guys. Increadible! It helps me change my perspective on things that are broken.
I know why I watch Matt in the backgrounds start to finish for hours: He is honest, tells the price of buying and parts and selling, shows us their goofs, waffles on with a laugh and is honest. Please dont stress this man out by begging him for shit or scaring him off like other youtubers. What he does naturally is why we watch. I dig when he is uncomfortable and gets on with it anyways. We get good, bad , ugly, wins and fails and family and friends. Having watched Freddie and Matt for years now, what a brilliant duo, 2 guys doing what the guys like doing and that is turning some wrenches, solving some problems and enjoying the success of the labour.
Color me floored. What a story. Definitely the longest youtube video I've ever watched. I could feel the pain points and hell, I almost cried for you at times. What an absolute adventure. Bravo!
I never comment on videos,. but this honestly might be one of if not the best video on youtube right now, top tier filming, content and editing. Great story and extremely entertaining.
I never was able to hold my attention to a show this long until I started watching Matt he is truly amazing at what he does I look up to him. Thanks Matt
Have tell you how blessed you are to have such a great Dad! He is amazing. Can see where you get your sense of humor from. To do all of this with your Dad with you is so rare.
I’ve never watched a 3+ plus hour video especially a car build video and watched this video in entirety and love the amazing hospitality by Freddy as this build wouldn’t have been possible and the kindness of Mat selling the car to Freddie for cost was amazing to see. All around one of if not the best TH-cam especially long video I’ve ever seen on TH-cam!! Keep up the amazing work and the kindness!!
Regardless of how turbulent and complex my life gets sometimes, I always find your videos and your energy extremely positive, it just never fails to put a smile on my face.Thank you , Mat
Absolutely AWESOME... I literally sat on the edge of my seat watching this - non stop - smiled my face off, what a brilliant video / story. Well done to you all - all the way from Nottingham, England!!!!
I've watched a lot of TH-cam rebuilds, most were under an hour some were rebuilds under 20mins. This was 3 hours long and I enjoyed every min of it. Good vibes, blessed to be able to share this journey with your old man too. Just an awesome job Mat! Look forward to more of your videos. A job well done.
Just did a 3 hour marathon on this video. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Mat, what a fantastic person you are! And Freddie is such a cool dude. Glad he got the car in the end!
Never thought I would watch a 3+ hour TH-cam video from beginning to end, but the way this was edited, and the story telling was perfect. Well done, and a happy ending as well!
I'm 55-y.o. A rolling start is actually how we used to have to get our manual vehicles started if we had a dead battery. Have done it many times...but, yeah, nice that Freddie had that bit of knowledge tucked away in that brain of his.
Your knowledge for these cars are incredible. Your collection is amazing. But none of it compares to you and your relationship with your dad Tony and wife Hannah. Tony is a gem.
Freddy is one of the most humbled person and came from the taking risk also couldn't have watched a better collaboration on a build and glad Freddy is getting the car he takes care of his babies real friends 💯💯💯🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
It is unbelievably heartwarming to see two people of similar ilk come together and create an unforgettable experience for all parties involved. Freddie's a legend, and Mat + crew did a fantastic job
Letting go of a cherished car can be an emotional experience(even for me watching), especially when it's been a big part of one's journey. It's heartwarming to see such a beloved vehicle pass on to someone who is appreciated and deserving. Freddy's good nature and the joy he'll get from the car should makes the farewell a bit easier. It's a reminder that sometimes, the value of things isn't just in the material, but in the memories and happiness they bring to others.
One of the best things I’ve ever seen on TH-cam, period. Good passionate people surrounding a love for cars. Even I felt the connection to the car and felt your sadness, Mat. Thank you for this content! And God bless you, your family, and friends.
Listen here Mr Big shot. MR. LOOK AT ME I CAN PERFORM MIRACLES ON AWESOME CARS!!! What gives you and your team the right to bring people closer to their dreams and showing how within grasp they are. But what REALLY just toasts the baby powder in my britches with you, YOUR GENUINELY ENJOYING WHAT YOU DO. How you lit up fixing the horn was absolutely incredible!!!! I’m 39 years old and you make me wanna start a journey in this direction. Schooling and all. Especially if I can ever get to feel like you did at that moment!!! And you still was holding back them dance moves!!! Love you bro. Keep perform them miracles!!!
Here we go with another one. I was so locked in with watching this build i took my laptop everywhere around the house until it was over in awe . The car community thanks you for these massssssssive episodes lol well worth it. Blessing to you, Dad and the crew for all doing their parts as well.
What an amazing video! I was glued to this episode and truly satisfied with the full 3 hour experience!!! It just goes to show having great support from friends and family make anything possible! THANKS FOR SHARING! Safe travels!!!
Wow one of the BEST vehicle rebuild i have ever watch. Your persistent struggles, frustration, stress, and effort in repairing this car was amazing fabulous journey to watch. Having your girlfriend or wife unsure and father involve was amazing as well. Awesome job.
I am not a big car guy, but between your channel and Tavarish and Legit Street Cars I can’t get enough of your content! You guys make a story out of your videos and I can’t ever seem to turn them off. And find myself waiting for the next one! Great job guys! P.S I love your dad, reminds me of my dad!
I didn't even know I had an appetite for 3-hour videos. But you can definitely make these 3 hours exceptional. Thank you for all the episodes and all the care and affection you put into making your videos.
I’m watching this for the 2nd time. The entire thing. I know what’s coming yet I’m still entertained. The edits and the transitions on this video are unmatched. Those rollers…. Chefs kiss
Hannah and your Dad are the BEST!! I'm glad they showed up to help you and give you support. You've got a great team and family. Hard to find. Take great care of one another. Much love and respect from the US, Mat. Subscribed! 👍
What an absolutely amazing restoration and the final leg, being sold to Freddy, is just the icing on the cake. You all work very well together and let's hope there are more projects in the future with the both of you. Well done guys, seriously.
Make it happen man, start rebuilding little(er) cars like Mat did like Audi TT and reselling them or something like that, or even fix up your own to be a daily driver or something. I believe in you dude, at the end of the day it’s only you who can make it happen. Good luck and have a good day
Just finished watching this video, amazing achievement. Love the team work and partnership with Freddie. Matt you are so easy to watch. You explain all the steps and resolutions. Working with your dad is just amazing. I lost my wonderful dad suddenly last year and would give anything to watch him in his workshop one more time. Make the most of father son time. Keep up the amazing work.
ll I can say is ....... "WOW!!" and I mean "WOW!!!!" What an incredible display of passion, teamwork, truly awe-inspiring "see-it-thru-to-completion" no matter what. I've done projects that required my team being located in different parts of the world. Working in vastly different time zones and being awake to have conference calls with the team that is on a 12 hour time change. It takes perseverance beyond what can be described. These guys make it look so simple - lemme tell you "IT IS NOT!! NOT AT ALL WHATSOEVER!" What you see on video here really is truly incredible that they can pull this off and with very little to no errors. I gotta say ...." Tavarish, Freddie, Mat, and everyone else involved - you guys are freakin' Rockstars man! for real! Thank you for sharing these amazing projects with us, they are incredible to see come to completion. AWESOME WORK!
When I started watching it, I saw 3 hours on the timeline and thought to myself, “that can’t be” about 2:59 later I realized I haven’t stopped watching!!! I am isolated in my room due to Covid and I have to thank you for the best 3 hours of isolation. 😂😂😂 Also loved watching your dad and his enthusiasm………everyone watching the video probably wishes they have a dad like yours! Good Job….CHEERS!
I am second to say I’ve never watched a three hour movie on TH-cam before and this had me interested from the beginning. I’m glad the algorithm played your channel. What a great story you have inspired me.
I happened upon this video and decided to spend part of New Year's day watching the story unfold. "good on you" as the expression goes...your tenacity deserves accolades! It's also extremely encouraging to see the incredible support from other youtube members, small businesses and even Porsche dealers.
I can't believe I just watched this entire video, you guys are awesome, I love ur energy, I love ur spirit and I love the friendships y'all have made. God bless you all, BIG LOVE from TRINIDAD 🇹🇹❣️
Mat, my friend and I watched this after each getting our dream GT3 (he got a 997.1, I got a 991.2 RS) and this is my first time watch your videos. I have to say, you are brilliant. A craftsman and a thinker. Watching you solve these problems was so amazing, and your dad is the man! I subbed from this one video. Truly inspiring work.
Alright bro! So I literally just watched all 3 hours of this video in one go.. It was amazing! The amount of work you put in & the issues you’ve fixed really kept me intrigued fam! I’m lost for words..This is great entertainment for a car enthusiast! KEEP GOING BRO! I APPRECIATE YOUR HARD WORK AND PASSION!!
Wow this video was so amazing. Watched 2 x 3 hour videos from the channel now within 3 days. And the ending was something I didnt expect. So generous from both. Freddy offering his Garage and all and Mat for giving him the car for the price he paid. This is my absolute dream car and I hope to own one some day.
The absolute best car you've rebuilt imo. Fantastic job with you and the gang involved. Runs and drives even better than a factory one with the upgrades, you'd never know it was wrecked by looking at it or even driving it. You need another 992 for the UK now 😉
I’ve never watched long videos but ever since I started watching Matt I really like his videos can’t turn away from him.. So in the words of Matt, unbelievable
I'm going to say this is my number one top car rebuild video. Great car love the GT3 and great people, Matt's team and Tavarish's team plus a cameo from Smee150. This was really enjoyable. Thanks so much.
Huge props to MAT for building it. It looks amazing and its a MANUAL!!! Thanks Tavarish for helping him and his car builds are good too and AdamLZ's loss is Mats gain..But i hope adam is happy seeing his old GT3 is back on the road and not in the scrapyard
I`m hooked on these vids, so watchable. The before and after pics on the vid preview are a bit of a spoiler for me, I think the end result would be much better left until the end :) I love how you are never phased in the face of adversity, inspirational stuff Mat, and then the quality of the production / editing is 10/10
What an amazing video. No part 2 anything. A full video of an amazing process. They way you showed each problem and how you resolved it. And then giving it to your dad at the end. Good stuff, man.
Even though I watch every single episode separately as you build these cars, I still manage to sit and enjoy watching the entire build episode in the end. Keep it up
This video was like a thrilling movie. I could not stop watching. I was overwhelmed with emotions when that Porsche engine roared again. This is what TH-cam is all about. Amazing!
Amazing video amazing creator amazing work amazing techs amazing story. Been building cars since the 90s and had a lot of firsts in the US but always been in the shadow with them. I’m so truly happy to see real, true lovers of the build and resurrection and the pure joy from what many others may seem small and trivial but means the world to builders and drivers. I’m so happy I found your channels and am subbed and truly look forward to the next resurrections. Keeping an eye on the McLaren. Cheers to you, your fam, your pops, and your team/friends who make it happen as I’ve learned throughout the years are more important than the build itself. Awesome job
Matt seriously this is the longest vid I have ever watched on YT. Utterly superb, love how you included your dad in the build, the support of your girl and family. Best thing, and not to mention the most inspiring thing I have seen on TH-cam. Keep up the incredible work. You deserve all the success in the world mate. 🙏
What an amazing film. I can't even watch a movie that's over 3hrs long but for this one i was glued to my seat from the very first minute. I love the story. I love the chemistry you have with your dad and everyone else on the team who makes this possible to bring us this content. I admire your craftmanship and you are truly humble. It was fitting to sell it to Freddy and it's definitely a keeper. Keep up the superb work and I look forward to the next one. All the best for 2024 and beyond. Subbed.
I've been grinning from ear to ear at parts watching this. What is happening, this doesn't normally happen to me. Such a good project from start to finish. Well done Mat and Freddy you deserve it 100%
Probably the best car video I have seen on TH-cam, amazing work marked by twists and turns. I watched it right through, for over 3 hours. To see the build quality and complexity of that GT3 gave me even more respect for my GTS. I just hope that the airbags never deploy and require a new pyro fuse. Very generous gesture at the end.
Damn it Mat, I don't know how you constantly break my eyes. They freaking leaking again. One of the best 3 hours I have spent in a long time. Thank you for all you do and the hope you give, to so many. I found Freddy via your channel. I like cars but the story, the friendships, the extended family all show us how to work together and support one another.! Great video, a brilliant example for so many. Bang on, Brother! Bang on!!! ( love the interaction, between you and your dad as well. (Tony is a stone cold YT killer. Supporting his son and living his best life. HWBT ->
The Porsche is so much better and nicer all around than the Aston Martin! Looks, sounds, performs so much better & is timeless! That paint to sample shade of purple with the yellow accents will never look bad, go out of style or need to be changed in any way.
I’ve never watched a 3hr TH-cam video and I couldn’t turn this episode off! Hats off to everyone that was apart of this project! 🤘🏽
frl but white wheels would be better
you should watch the other full rebuilds aswell
First time I've ever sat through one in one sitting as well!
I'm only at 37 minutes and realized it is 3hrs long and I don't have time to keep watching . I don't want to stop watching .
Love the one part series , no waiting for a new video
This is the best car rebuild documentary video by far in the internet history. It showcases PASSION to the world !! Great job Matt and the team

Tavarish was my first car channel and Max is my brand new watch! I’m so happy they work together often and put it out for us to watch
I didn't even know I had an appetite for 3-hour videos. But you can definitely make these 3 hours exceptional.
Thank you for all the episodes and all the care and affection you put into making your videos.
Me neither I don't normally have the attention span to watch a film but this guy makes great engaging videos
I think buying a wrecked car and repairing it with your own hands is way more rewarding than just buying it new. Great video Mat
I’m watching this for the 2nd time. The entire thing. I know what’s coming yet I’m still entertained. The edits and the transitions on this video are unmatched. Those rollers…. Chefs kiss
Watching this made me miss my father! Love your guys' relationship.. it's awesome. Cherish every second....
Awesome content, Mat. Keep it up brother.
To do this with your dad best memory u could have
As a truck driver, the best 3 hrs I’ve had in a while. From Nashville TN - Louisville KY watched it non stop. Bravo. 👏
I’ve learned so much from Matt, would be my dream to be like him fixing cars and owning super cars, keep up the good work 🙌🏼
Make it happen man, start rebuilding little(er) cars like Mat did like Audi TT and reselling them or something like that, or even fix up your own to be a daily driver or something. I believe in you dude, at the end of the day it’s only you who can make it happen. Good luck and have a good day
Fixing cars allows you to have, experience & know them deeper than owning...
Mat you are so so lucky to have your Dad working with you side by side. Good to see you guys having so much fun!
ll I can say is .......
Also loved watching your dad and his enthusiasm………everyone watching the video probably wishes they have a dad like yours! Good Job….CHEERS!
Yo big shout out to Tavarish for all the help he did for making this red coats dream come true.
Couldn't turn this video off, watched it from start to finish. Very well done
Brilliant Mat really enjoyed this. The story, the build, the connection with friends and family, and of course the car! Class, love it.
What a brilliant journey! Mat Freddy you guys are giving people joy and the best youtube has to offer !!
AMAZING!!!! Thats what I call teamwork at its best!! Can’t wait to see more from Mat and Freddie!!
Best youtube show I have ever watched. From beginning to end. Loved the calabo with Tavares!
Like another comment. Never watch a 3 hr video on TH-cam and felt so invested. Absolutely brilliant. Congratulations
You just prevented the death of a piece of art. God bless you all.
Those 3 hrs flew by. One of the best 3 hours on youtube. Fantastic.
The absolute best car you've rebuilt imo. Fantastic job with you and the gang involved. Runs and drives even better than a factory one with the upgrades, you'd never know it was wrecked by looking at it or even driving it. You need another 992 for the UK now 😉
haha it happened 💪
I’ve never watched long videos but ever since I started watching Matt I really like his videos can’t turn away from him..
So in the words of Matt, unbelievable
I'm going to say this is my number one top car rebuild video. Great car love the GT3 and great people, Matt's team and Tavarish's team plus a cameo from Smee150. This was really enjoyable. Thanks so much.
Great Rebuilding Series ... Freddy is one of the nicest guys seen on YT yet.Great to see you work together.
Very sad that AdamLZ didn't showed up :(
This is everything I love to watch involving car repair. The longer, the better with these vids!!
Huge props to MAT for building it. It looks amazing and its a MANUAL!!!
Thanks Tavarish for helping him and his car builds are good too
and AdamLZ's loss is Mats gain..But i hope adam is happy seeing his old GT3 is back on the road and not in the scrapyard
Absolutely loved this Matt - can’t believe I’ve just watched a straight 3 hours!! What a car and a build 👏👏👏👌
I can recall,time well spent
Good point me too..3hrs blasted past just like a Porsche..
Freddy MVP for sure :) Good job Mat on how you share your experience with us viewers!
Gotta say, i love that he is not hiding the cost of things and the difficulty of obtaining parts.
Very good video 🤙🤙
Keep it up
Wow!!! I just watched a 3+ hour movie! I honestly didn’t want it to end. Amazing, simply amazing job Mat! 🏆
This video was like a thrilling movie. I could not stop watching. I was overwhelmed with emotions when that Porsche engine roared again. This is what TH-cam is all about. Amazing!
Honestly bro i gotta give it to you, you were able to retain so many people in a 3hr video such a great content 👏👏👏
Subbed.
So happy for you man! I’ve never watched a 3hr video before and enjoyed every minute of it! Congratulations on your beautiful journey and car brother!
HWBT ->
20:01 What a collaboration!!!!!!! Freddy and Matt....good job! Way to put that idea together!!
The Porsche is so much better and nicer all around than the Aston Martin! Looks, sounds, performs so much better & is timeless! That paint to sample shade of purple with the yellow accents will never look bad, go out of style or need to be changed in any way.
