EA play bro, definitely don't pay full if it's still having optimisation issues this late after launch. That 3080ti is still a solid card for sure. Realistically, you shouldn't have any problems.

That's fair enough fam, it's always hit or miss when buying a monitor. Have you contacted support about getting a replacement?? I would do that first to rule out any defects your monitor might have. From my experience, the HDR is the best I've had on any screen. Also washed out colours on an OLED just screams defect to me so I'd definitely be chasing up support. Im still using factory settings since I find it looked the best for me. Screen: HDR400 standard preset 75 bright/contrast Windows 11: HDR on Auto HDR enabled SDR 36% 8bit 175hz

Yo nice bros, congrats! Yeh, i still enable HDR in-game if the option's there but that's basically it. Some in-game HDR settings don't really do much, I've found.

Yeah big time, it's a shaky release my friend. Stutters, random crashes.. Still needs a lot of work sadly. I disabled RT and enabled FSR to quality, and for some unknown reason, that made the game work best for me and my 4090.. F******g Ea games bro... xD

@@zanzatec I did some tweaking a bit, from what I did was Monitor HDr 1000 is on, During game HDR is on in Win 11, Sdr to 100 and Present to Moba/RTS Man those colors is vivid! amazing colors and such, brightness is good, Deep black, Deep colors! I havent try the Standard present yet I will try that today!
Hello friend, I had a question when I finished assembling the PC and after connecting the power source, I could connect to the light socket. Oh, I have to buy a special thing for that because my power source is 1500w.
No sir, neither screen has even the slightest sign of burn-in. Even on my 2nd screen which is another DW. Still looking just as good, both used like i would any regular monitor as i dont have the patience to babysit them for fear of burn-in.

I got it back in august bros, been using it everyday from when I wake up to when I go to bed. Both work and gaming. Like i would any other regular monitor I've owned before. No babysitting for burn-in as I don't have the patience for it. Still looks good as new!!

Ye had to set to quality. Native res was broken with the rest of the game on release. It basically forced FSR performance even when FSR was disabled. The game was a blurry mess and looked terrible. Setting FSR to quality fixed that for some reason. I haven't bothered checking if they fixed the game since.

Like i hear this monitor isn't good for productivity, i mean I'm personally gaming predominantly, and work is a second thought, but idk. Its all good my friend, ask away! I do heaps of work on the monitor, ultrawide is made for it. That extra space advantage is must imo. I think what you might have heard is in regard to the text. For me I adjusted to the text within the first 10m of using the screen. It makes 0 difference for me and what I do. However, if you had to work with text all day say for coding and such. Then I could understand this monitor not being the best option. As for the 4070, my friend still using his 2080ti. A few tweaks here and there and he's good! Don't even stress, you got this!

No worries man, you boys won't regret it! These screens slap!! DW/DWF are basically the same screen, fam. DWF being the newer and updated release with some minor updates/changes. The DWF does come with some HDR issues but only on specific settings that have more to do with enthusiasts who calibrate. If you're casual like me and just stick to factory settings, which imo looks perfectly fine. You shouldn't have any issues. @Guffmaw That's really all I'm using. I have 0 clue when it comes to calibration. The most I've done was download that HDR tool from the Windows store other then that my OSD and Windows settings are: HDR400 on standard preset 75% bright/contrast HDR on in Windows Auto HDR SDR 36% I can't imagine the DWFs hdr is that broken, right?? 3440 x 1440 is not the same as traditional 1440p. Even at normal 1440p you do not get 175hz in alot of titles with the 4090. It would be nice if the made a 200+ hz panel like this tho

I have 3060ti, many games will go fine with DLSS and no RT. This game produces around 60fps. I'd upgrade to 4080 with time
Ya with a bit of tweaking, she'll be right. It's once u start messing with RT, frames go out the window.

can't hear anything fam, can hear the chassis creek/pop from the heat from time to time in a silent room but that's about it.

They use the same panel so pretty much identical performance. If I had to choose now, it'd be the g8 because of that remote lol.

No sir, not with the current state of the game. RT had me dipping below 60 in some places :(
