Taking out the entire company of storm troopers, one at a time, to Strauss’ Blue Danube was quality old-school lulz (dare I say, it was topkek). This video was far more entertaining than any of my time playing the game.
Most of the people she punched were wearing helmets. Most of them didn’t even look like they got hit that hard. I’m not the strongest guy, but even I could take most of those punches without a helmet.
Yes! It's because the game doesn't expect you to knock him out. Enemies are conveniently positioned in such a way that you can easily walk around everyone undetected like I showed at the very beginning. This particular officer is barking orders at the Pykes and rushing them to be faster. If you knock him out before he finishes his lines, he'll continue speaking, even while unconscious.
@@CinematicSeriesGaming That seems to be a pretty big oversight that the devs didn’t even anticipate the player knocking him out. I’ve seen a game (Ultrakill) where you can skip an entire boss fight by tossing a coin to the boss to pay the toll like a normal person. Also, that one moment had me thinking of a Transformers One clip I saw on TH-cam promoting the film, which explains my comment being a series of quotes.
The more I see of this game, the more glad I am that I didn’t buy it. It’s just bad. Without the Star Wars logo on the box, this game would already have been forgotten about
@@paddy1993 even with a name attached why does it live free in your heads? You know what I do of I don't like something. I forget it exists almost immediately. I watched the prequels once as a teen and thought "meh" and didnt think of them again (revisited them again as an adult thinking maybe a mature mind will view it differently but nope, still meh) yet you geeks are still whining daily about the sequels. Why?
In Outlaws, enemies have extremely tiny cones of vision and they can't hear anything past about 20-30 meters. So you can shoot your blaster right outside this zone and they won't notice
If You ever feel useless, remember that imperial soldiers wear full body armor and helmets. Remember Aiden from Watch Dogs (game from Ubistoft by the way)? He used telescopic baton as melee weapon. So in Star Wars universum some kind of collapsible stun baton or glove/knuckles would fit better instead of bare fists.
Honestly, it's such a bizarre design choice. Hundreds of people worked on this game and no one was sensible enough to say that bonking stormtroopers in the head with bare fists is lame??? They could have given Kay some electric baton or a taser. It's so obvious
@@CinematicSeriesGaming Of course it is bizzare and honestly idiotic - this universe is not about competetive/sport fighting where both sides must be somewhat balanced. As an outlaw main protagonist should use a lot of concealed tools, especially weapons. Fighting with bare fists is not lame in my opinion but when character is like Kratos from God of War or something like that. But for an not-so-buffed-woman? It looks ridiculous. @fedemonzon9494 you know a stick is only as strong as the arm that swings it yeah? Get a light stick, swing it fast it will hurt skin but gonna do nothing against padding. Get a club and swing it with little force and its not gonna do much. And lore established after the fact because of the criticism of the ewoks winning. You can't write a story, have the story criticised in a way you don't like so write later "btw, this here explains why that happened". Thats not how stories work. Things need to be established during, not after. Where in the movie does it establish they are strong? When Han easily moves the end of a spear pointed at him with one hand? Doesn't set up a strong being at all does it. Or the need for them to set up traps/have weapons in the first place. Doesn't really set up that they are innate physically strong being at all. We use tools and our brains because of our physical short comings. Unarmed you arent doing too well against a bear. They need tools and traps so can't be too physically powerful.
@whitewolf3051 The point is that it's a complete step backwards in its own game. The games I mentioned are from Ubisoft and they themselves made this aberration in Outlaws.
@@DanielFerreira-mh2hd My mentioning the Elder Scrolls was stealth in most games, not just Ubisoft games. Stealth was done in earlier Metal Gear and other franchises, but now we're getting joke of stealth these days.
Brave, bravo! 👏🏼👏🏼 A standing ovation! That first Imperial officer reminds me of Rimmer from Red Dwarf but I can't believe this is the same company that made my beloved Splinter Cell. It seems the stealth got a little sloppy once assassin's creed came round. As for the storm troopers I'll let it slide. To quote Luke "I can't see a thing out of this helmet".
Ubisoft made Splinter Cell one of the most renowned stealth games of all time and their flagship Assassin Creed games was based around stealth (originally at least). How they dropped the ball so hard with this I will never know.
The takedown animations in Watch Dogs Legion are some of the best in the business. Look up a compilation if you haven't played the game. So how come they are so awkward and weak in this game?

3. It would make 'Outlaws' more unique. We are used to killing stormtroopers in games like The Force Unleashed, Battlefront or Jedi games. But we never see the Imperial Army.
@@CinematicSeriesGaming Andor is exactly what I had in mind. Plus it makes no sense wasting supposedly loyal, elite Stormtroopers and Biker Scouts on backwater worlds with little interest to the Emperor. Except Kijimi, perhaps, and that's a stretch.

Ubisoft, the company that created OG Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell, is not the same as the current company. Clearly, all the old staff either retired or found better jobs. “He wouldn’t stop talking.”
“Even when he was unconscious?”
“Especially when he was unconscious!”

I guess she has the powers of "strong independent woman" and "confidence".

@@Friendlyfirefish In lore ewoks are supposed to be REALLY strong physically. And at least they had some kind of weapon, it's not like they were punching through their helmets. This is completely lazy and impossible to defend. Like it or not, everything woke turns to shit.

Ubisoft made Splinter Cell one of the most renowned stealth games of all time and their flagship Assassin Creed games was based around stealth (originally at least). How they dropped the ball so hard with this I will never know.
