Thank you for the kind words! Yea it’s the stock bar height you’re seeing there. I think adding a couple inch riser to level out my arms would be worth it. But definitely was a fun bike either way. Ride safe!
Great content! I love that exhaust note. I ride most of those roads all the time. I have a 2021 softail slim. If you ever need a riding buddy hit me up.
I appreciate the kind words! That’s a sweet bike! I’ve got a new bike getting delivered Friday, had to take some time off so I’m stoked to get back out there. I’ll let ya know!
you sure got some nice roads out that way👌 can't get over that sound. do you use a mic close to exhaust for separate sound track for editing? sounds great no wind noise👍 cheers for taking us along good video
Did you tune your bike as well? I have a 21 LRS with little slip ons for the mean time. It was a pain just trying to find slip ons. Hopefully I’ll be upgrading into a full 2-1 soon. I’ve been wanting to head towards your direction. Just been cruising around my neck of the woods, San Francisquito, Angeles Crest, Bouquet Canyon, Lake Hughes road and to work pretty much.
I’m still on the stock tune at the moment but so far no issues running the full exhaust. I’ll upgrade the tune as soon as I can. Oh nice I lived in Valencia for a few years so I still hit those canyons a bunch! Yea getting this exhaust into CA wasn’t easy haha. Ride safe!
@@spf100_ sweet, yeah was a pain for sure. Ride safe as well, maybe one of these days, weeks or months whenever time permits you can show me a quick tour of these rides you go on.

@@fordboy4life20081 when I look at the Murdock pullbacks from biltwell on revzilla there is a note that says the bolt pattern will fit some Harley models. When I look at the bolt pattern on those compared to the stock low rider s bracket they look very similar if not identical. So I’m guessing we don’t need a separate bracket for it but I could be wrong. If you end up getting that soon let me know how it goes!
@@spf100_ I reached out to Biltwell with this question: I am looking to get some risers for my new 2022 HD Lowrider S. I was reaching out because I am interested in the Murdock pullbacks, but am wanting to ask if there are any additional parts, or assemblies required to mount the stock HD LRS gauge to the riser? and this was their response: “We unfortunately would not have anything yet to transfer that over directly to the Murdock risers so you would have to use the risers without it. Please let us know if you have any further questions.”
@@fordboy4life20081 ok that’s great info thanks for looking into that! I guess I’ll just wait till there’s a bracket for a gauge before I do the risers then. Thrashin supply co also also has some risers and I’ve seen people with fxlrs able to keep the gauge so that might be an option as well.
Good thing about Harley is there is such a wide variety of models suiting various riding styles and needs. I suppose it would depend on your experience and riding style! The low rider s packs a big punch, has a good fuel capacity and has a sporty feel despite it being a large bike. I would advise against getting a bike from Harley’s sportster lineup since it’s very likely you will outgrow it and find yourself wanting more after the first few months to a year of ownership. I would recommend those bike more for short trip, urban riding type situations rather than cruising, long day trips or two up riding. Really though whatever bike makes you happy is a good bike! I’d go to a Harley dealer and sit on some different models and take some test rides to see what feels good. What kind of riding are you interested in doing? Thanks for the comment.
@@spf100_ I actually have a 2009 Fat Bob right now. My concern its long in the tooth and may not be suitable for longer distances and I want to get a new bike with warranty. @@FalconMe oh no worries, ask away. The windscreen is the 11inch and I will say there is some buffeting at higher speeds which is unfortunate. So you might consider going alittle higher. CA is hilarious for their bullshit laws and cancer warnings on everything under the sun. I have a Bassani 2-1 exhaust but had to get the screamin eagle tuner at the time bc of Harley's warranty BS. Month later HD changes their views. Wish I had known and would've gotten the Power Vision one. Looking at doing a stage 2 with either an S&S or Woods torque cam. My HD buddy who works there and will be doing my stage 2 is a fan of Woods. What are some mods you've done? I see the fairing. I got the Memphis Shades road warrior one. Went with Lucky Speed Shop on my levers which I ABSOLUTELY love. Joker Machine mini floors for rider and passenger. Edward Richie sissy bar (you can find him on etsy) if you're in the market for one. What a precision fit! Did LEDs on my turn sigs. Had a Saddlemen seat but sold it. Wasn't good for a passenger also and went with the HD Sundowner seat. Looks atrocious but does the job. Like a giant ass sofa lol. I take it off and put my stock seat back on when not riding 2 up. Safe riding bro and rubber down always!
Thank you for the comment! You ride safe as well. Sounds like you have a super rad setup going there. So for mine I did the road warrior fairing, rogue rider industries front and rear led signals/running lights with smoked caps, Vance and Hines hi output 2:1 exhaust, biltwell punisher xl rider pegs and biltwell mushman passenger pegs, saddleman 2 up, Edward Richie sissy bar and did a low profile license plate fix. I think some risers would definitely be a plus on this bike so the hands rest in line with the shoulders but that’s just my preference. Yea the state laws are whack but luckily I found someone out of state to ship it and just figured it was unlikely I’d actually get cited for it. Take care!
