Favorite lines in the game. It's just the way he says it... so epic!
I love the design of the Hatter's Realm with the towers of black bricks and metal, red glass windows and the fact that they're floating in a gold/yellow sky.
Alice's voice is simply intoxicating....it just makes me want to hug her and make her feel better about all the crap she has to deal with.... She's so awesome....
I remember all those alchemic symbols! They're all the planets on the keys at the beginning, including the sun. Mercury (right) and Venus (left) are the two on her apron pockets and the omega symbol on her necklace symbolises something ending. The things I remember from being bored in primary school and reading stuff under the desk

Alice is the younger sibling of the 2. Lizzie is the oldest. It is stated in one of the memories you pick up earlier in the game that Alice was always a lonely child, since her sister was too old to play with dolls. Or something similar to that.

I love American Mcgee's Alice. This feels like the only modern game where the girl isn't so sexualized not showing so much skin and her breast aren't impossibly big

:P dude all I said that for once there wont be a game that sexualize a character and only focus on her boobs. A character can be sexualized but needs to be matured about it like Silent Hill 2.
But women are not "enough" They "are" capable on thinking for themselves and should be respected. This is why we need feminism, to make both genders equal on both sides.

Watching this after finally finishing the game makes it so much better. The foreshadowing is incredible!
If Tim Burton could see all this, he would be very impressed, A Dark Gothic version of the 2010 Version of Alice In Wonderland.
This game is like Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland... if it was done right.

Back in the day hatters had to work with mercury to make hats. Long exposure made them go crazy and eventually die.
This the chapter where you obtain the most items (Vorpal Blade, Pepper Grinder, Steamdress, Clockwork Bomb, and Umbrella).

23:25 I've never had this confirmed for me directly but you can just taste where there was very obviously supposed to be a boss fight, but due to a mix of time/budget constraints they had to be cut at the last second. I remember I played this game when I was a kid (I was very naive and did not know what was actually going on lmao) and I always felt super frustrated that they teased boss fights but only had the final one, but in retrospect it's painfully obvious that there were supposed to be more than one boss fight and they hit the cutting room floor.
i hear this song and its a mixture of happiness and sadness. i agree with TonksRules. i would hug alice just to help her feel better.
Tim Burton could have taken a lesson from this.
In fact, I think he did. Both his Alice in Wonderland and McGee's have similar main plot devices used from Carroll original story.
The Vorpal Blade, The Jabberwock, the battle against the Red Queen reign, Alice as the champion of Wonderland. Tim Burton even uses the image of a burning house which is almost identical to the image in McGee's.
McGee does a much better job of it, though. I wish I could name all of them but I have no more characters to

This isn't really a type, but the style is meant to be reminiscent of paper cutouts.

actually the queen does resemble alice's sister that was the point of her changed appearance. read the plot on wikipedia.

well in the beginning she was trying to forget her past but she seems unable to forget it which annoys her a lot. after she wakes up from being hypnotized the doc told her to go get her meds pretty much. then she is running around she goes to the old lady that is black mailing her hoping to get some real help. but she has a mental brake down and goes to wonderland (you will find out how she dose that when she meets the red queen) she runs around like crazy trying to find out what is wrong with
I told you - it was just like the OTHERS fantasy films of Hollywood, in the same style.
That's a TYPICAL hollywood movie, and I think Carroll deserves more unusualties and origins.

Any one else notice the design of the infernal train? It looks like a cathedral.
The Looking Glass line was the original train that ran through Wonderland, run by Mock Turtle. (As Bumby says, this is Alice's "inventiion" her "defense") The Infernal Train represents Bumby's corruption and influence on Alice's mind, it percives, as Alice does, threats and runs rampant because Alice is unaware that Bumby is truly the cause of her suffering. Doormouse and Hare built the train, as far as Wonderland goes, and presumably under the Doll Maker's orders, as they were driven to Madness
Yes, especially the DLC ones, but a number of them aren't all that useful. The Catepillar dress allows you to see in 'small' vision for example and Rabbit's gets the shrinking violets to heal you quicker i think.
I wish somebody would make this into a movie. That would be so cool

@TheMarvelousDC I've definitely heard of him and while browsing through March Hare stuff on DA, I've been able to read a bit about him and see pictures of him. He seems pretty cool. I've never bothered to see the actual show, though. Is it on TH-cam?

alice wasnt based off of drugs or any of that its a disease in the brain called alice in wonderland syndrom the original writer to alice had it and he wrote about his experience but used a young girl for his character he ended up losing his mind and died after that lewis carroll was a friend of a friend of his and he gave it to her and she carried on his story but from what they said his version was just like alice madness return they just dimmed it down for kids

If this ever is getting to be a movie, I would like Emilie Autumn to play Alice. Not only because I am a big Emilie Autumn fan, but also because Emilie has been in an Asylum as well. And some other unfortunate things has happened to her too. Not that I like that that has happened to her, but I think she would understand Alice's character very well.

If you don't read the book when you was little, you might find it awesome.
I find it very simple with all that predictable characters and subject itself.
In Russia we call it "stamp" - when movies are very LIKE others in the way they are made, by the way characters talk and behave.
It seems like Tim Berton took a simple hollywood raw as a base (you know, a blonde girl, lots of graphics and actions and so on) and roughly stuffed it with Carroll's citations...
Quite incredible visuals, sure wish I could run this with full graphics on. Until then, I will wait before playing.

exactly. that and his alice movie was based primarily off of the story by lewis carroll
wonderland. she first goes to the mad hatter's domain (like the title says) she had to find all of his body parts (because he is a robot) after she finds them he helps her get to the end so she could try and get to the red queen. the hatter's friend the mouse and hare end up dieing. the hatter is going crazy and says they can just have tea also telling her about the black train. then she magically gets out of wonderland back into the main world.
i wish i had an adventure like this
