Did you know there's a "Kingdom Hearts" fanfic focused on Roxas, in which one of the worlds he visits is this one ? It's called "The Twilight Will".
I was particularly proud of the Queen and the Cat in the fanfic.

tea ray a lot of old books from the 1800s have this style like Alice’s adventures in wonderland

this style is like a cartoon with hatching, even though this comment might be a little late. hatching is just a 2d style of shading that was very common around 1800's and such for illustration - although the actual anatomy of the style is a little bit more modern

Albrecht Durer (1471-1528) is probably the biggest influence on styles like this. His work had really amazing lines but the way he drew animals and people were super awkward like they were made of bricks, ready to fall apart. Yet that awkwardness works perfectly here where it's turned into animated paper cutouts. That's creativity at its finest.

This is the sequel to American McGee's Alice. McGee said he wants a third game as much as we do, but because EA funds, publishes, and distributes the game, it's up to them. He has said that currently EA doesn't show any interest in a third game. However, he has said that there most likely will be a third game "before we all die", but he just doesn't know when. Hope this helps :)

Hey i am making a mod for alice madness returns that upscales the cutscenes and I already have one that upscales the textures, is it okay if I download this upscale it and make it a mod? it would be a great help! Ive gotten it a different way and the voice actors don't work, I will credit you in the helping of the mod (there is no money being made either)

The type of animation used is call : 2D paper-cut out style.
EA & SpicyHorse loved it and asked the animator ( Edward Goin according to a lot of videos & Internet) To do the same for their Logos.
