Now lithium batteries in use are much lighter and gives more range than lead acid batteries, in future more lighter and faster charging batteries will be available which will give more range.
      Already in China there is a company which has claimed within around 15 mins full charge of car, they have developed developed a tech

    The cost of electricity charged by this charging station is really very high at most places it is 20 to 25 Rs per unit. It might be pollution free but the operating cost is more or less similar to hybrid cars.

    16 lakh ki ev car ki jagah 8 lakh ki petrol car lo aur 8 lakh ka jo difference hai uska petrol dalwao aur utne chalne ke bad fir 4 lakh ki battery badal wane se acha fir 4 lakh petrol dala sayad itne me 7 sal tak koi cost nahi ayega agar ev se compare kre tho tho ev ke samne tho petrol car free me chal rhi hai

      एक ev की बैटरी की लाइफ 8 लाख किलोमीटर के बाद घटना सुरु होती है जो कि शायद ही कोई कार मालिक इतना चलाया हो 5 लाख तक पेट्रोल कार की हालत खत्म हो जाती है तो बैटरी चेंज करने का कोई सेंस नही है पहली वाली सही से चला लो वही काफी पूरी लाइफ में 12 लाख किलोमीटर तक कि रेंज देगी एक बैटरी
      और सिटी डेली राइड के लिए है रात भर घर पर चार्ज करो दिन में use अगर 100 से 200 km use करना है

    Jabrdasti ki marketing. Isme ek problem aur ki rukna wahi padega jahan charger hai. Chahe wahan rukna acha lage ya na lage. Phir charging stations ke pass khane ki demand badegi to sidha sidha wahan par khana bhi mahnga hoga. Mtlb jo paise petrol ke bache wo khane m kharch hogye. Koi mtlb nahi nikla.

Lithium isnt found on earth its found underneath the earth and more ev's more lithium more lithium more mining and most dangerous thing to consider is disposing lithium after it looses its life and also if in case any fire accidents wen lithium burns it produces a lott more pollution and toxic gases which several trucks also cant produce. Ev is a business idea not a environment friendly car.

    400 mein 240 km which comes out to be around ₹ 1.70 per km. A petrol car's running cost is ₹ 7 - 8 per km.
    For a perspective, if your drive 100,000 km, your EV would cost you around 150 - 200 k while your petrol car would cost 750 - 800 k which is around 600 k more than an EV.
    Now, here's the catch. EV's are generally that much costlier than petrol cars. Can you save money? No, you can't, because saving that money would take around 5-6 years, given your car is continuously in use.
    It's better to stick with petrol cars until and unless the prices come down - maybe wait for government subsidies too.

    The way way this issue can be rectified is by including some kinda solar charging technology which should be able charge atleast 0-50 in 30mins. While drive or while vehicle is on stand by.

      The main purpose of EVs was never to improve fuel efficiency or output cost reduction. They were developed because of their less harmful impact on the environment. Plus, the battery range and the charging infrastructure will only improve in the future.
      When ICE cars were first invented, people surely must've faced similar problems but one can only admire how convenient they are today as means of transportation.

      @@exudosid Again, you're kinda wrong. The amount of CO2 emissions generated from EV manufacturing is 10 times more than that of ICE cars. Plus the mines where the minerals come from and the power plants that supply electricity to charging stations generate FAR more pollutants than an EV claims to reduce.

      @@nishchay_p That is just not true. The total combined manufacturing emissions is while higher for EVs in comparison to ICE vehicles, it is simply not 10 times more. A total of 5.6 tonnes of CO2 emissions is generated when making an ICE vehicle while at 57% more ( add 3.2 tonnes) at 8.8 tonnes, which is just 15% of what you claimed (10 times which would equal 56 tones) emissions an EV is manufactured.
      You're wrong again in the second half as well. An EV being charged on electricity generated from renewable resources will simply cover all the emissions generated from these mines way faster than even when driven for the average amount of years an ICE car is driven today.
      But let's say not all countries specially ours can afford renewable sources, even then it takes an EV a ballpark 47k km to recover it's total initial emissions before going completely green. An average Indian car goes around 12k km per year, taking that into account it would take an EV an approx just 4 years to benefit the environment all the while benefiting the driver at the same time all those years with least possible maintainence costs with no engine to maintain and cheap electricity. It's a win-win situation really when played correctly.

      @@exudosid Your point is completely based on hypotheticals (renewable power sources WILL decrease emissions, is not the case right now, hence hypothetical). There are multiple studies proving the emission point for EVs. Although I'll give you the point that it is not exactly 10 times.
      Just take the case in California, they struggled providing electricity for EVs due to the the abrupt shifts to so called "renewable energy" and suffered through rolling blackouts and power shortage for both domestic and EV use.
      Again, currently the infrastructure and power sources for EVs are the bane of the industry. Especially in India. Find middle ground for survival or suffer.

      @@nishchay_p My points are not completely hypothetical? I've provided a hypothetical scenario and a realistic scenario both of which favour EVs. Read my answer once again. An EV being charged on energy extracted from non renewable resources still produces less lifetime emissions than an ICE because of it's high efficiency factor the polar opposite of what you claimed with your 'mines and 10 times more pollutants issue' which is not true at all.
      Now, abruptly shifting to all EV, for which once the infra would need a major revamp is something different of an argument. I never disagreed with your idea of strong hybrids and as well feel that the GOI is very slow to make such essential changes. But this argument of yours is completely different from our initial discussion.

    Abhi toh bhale h ev ki costing diesel/petrol se kum ho lekin remember ki ev cars mein abhi jo battery use ho rhi h woh new h aur size mein bhot badi h that's why a new battery for the cost around 5-7 Lakhs , i m not kidding , and i guess you will have to change the battery after 7 yrs and if battery needed to be replaced even before due to malfunction , it's too expensive

    Assume, Petrol Car daily runs 50km, Fuel 20km/lit = 250₹ daily fuel cost. Monthly 7500×12 months= 90k + Servicing cost 10k. Hence yearly 1 lakh.
    Electric car, same daily 50km 1weekly 350 consumes 22 units of electricity × 52weeks × 7₹/unit= 8k/year electric charge+4k maintence charge. Yearly only 12k.
    For 10yrs uses.
    Petrol Car 8lakh price + 30% GST (If a car less than 4m length & less than 1.2L engine & if more than 4m & 1.2L engine it's 42% tax) 😂 Hence 8L+2.5Ltax+10L service g Fuel cost = 20.5 lakh for 10 yrs.
    Electric car 16L + 5%GST (no matter it's length) (MH govt. giving 1L subsidy)
    16L+0.8L tax + 1.2L (10yrs service+electricity) = 18L
    If u buy from Maharashtra u will get 1Lakh subsidy on car price. It means 17 lakh for 10 years.
    It's proved u can save 3 lakhs on Electric car for a 10 yrs driving

    Bura na mano to 450 mai mai to thane se shirdi 200km aaya aur shirdi mai cng khatam hogaya but ab vapas full kiya kal mai 550 mai thane poch jaunga better than ev cause it has exaust node and I ran it on a top speed of 130...by the way I have suzuki XL6
