    Please add a source of light, something like a sun or something smaller like a spot light, then move it around and see how your Toon Shader option work with it. I want to see how good this shader of yours works, see how the shadows and highlights react with each surface in real time.

    • @Entikai
      @Entikai  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm actually not using a shader, this is all done with textures. I'm doing it that way since I want this art style to be usable in a game engine. And you can't export Blender shaders.

    • @AllanSormani
      @AllanSormani ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Entikai Boomer, I was hoping this was actually a real toon shader... Im trying to find one that I could use for a personal project of mine, but not all the available tutorials works for my vision. Anyways... this looks really good when it comes to the final result!

    • @Entikai
      @Entikai  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I personally think you could never get this result with shaders. It might be possible by editing normals, but I don't ever want to do that kind of stuff since it's soul sucking work. I just do it with textures and it's perfect for my needs.

    • @retainingwall

      @@Entikai I think the most important is for you to record yourself speakinh out the steps taken and give details for any parts that are not basic knowledge. Ex. I saw you doing something with the UVs of the cube with those arrows. What was that all about? Also, if you were using an inverted hull for the outlines, are there any tips you have to improve the result (since I find inverted hull to be kinda meh, but your outline looked very nice). If don't already have a recording of your work, you might combine giving us a tour of your project and cut away to you reproducing the specific tasks in a new file. Lots of luck!

  • @matazar42
    @matazar42 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great job, it looks very cute. One small question how did you achieve the outline between the top of the stem and the cap ? With outline helper I manage to get the exterior outline but not at the intersection between 2 objects.

    • @Entikai

      Just do a quick search on "Auto Reload Blender Addon", "TexTools Blender Addon" and "Outline Helper Blender Addon", and it should be the first thing that Google show's.

      Hmm, maybe they haven't updated it to the newest version of Blender. I am always running few versions behind so my addons work.

      I have it on version 3.3.7. But I think on the web page where you can download the addon, it should say what the latest supported version is.
