Hello Marcel, it’s been a while since since i tested your toon shader but I’ve always struggle with round objects like a head of a character, when the shader is applied to it it’s just like multi-color and it looks kind of weird. Do you know how to solve that problem ?
I personally can't get the color to work right, when following this setup, my colors don't match the color ramp and end up being pink, yellow, green, and blue which looks awful. Any idea on how to solve this?
Any idea who to create these textures for toon shader while having outlines like this image: pbs.twimg.com/media/FRM-BJhVgAAOM1K?format=jpg&name=4096x4096
now that's a toon render. it reminds me of sin city, but with more color. very cool indeed :D
That's exactly what I was looking
thanks keep it up

great tutorial, man! i didn't understand the part with normals 1:19 - what is JS placement?
just google it :)
hey quick question why is the color on the color ramp different on the output materials?
It's so cool! BTW what is the reflect node? Can't find it in blender 2.9 :O
it is a vector math node :D

well, on soft surfaces I don't use normals, just do solid colors or color ramps with layer wight node.
thats it :)
@@MarcelDeneuve thanks i will test it that way !

try different operations in math node. Or you can just use photoshop (or native compositor) to adjust colors.
which kind of map did u use from js?
sorry I don't remember ... in tutorial file I've included it, maybe it will help you
@@MarcelDeneuve thanks a lot, I will check it out
