really digging the slim panel, definitely keeping this in mind !! with you on the rgb, nice "feature" to have the mirco usb connection so users can disable it without plugging it in ! keep up the excellent work !!
Thanks for this! BTW, noticed that the TH-cam chapter captions have a mistake. Second last is "Let us know your thoughts on the 281URF". Obviously some other model prior to testing this. :)

Maybe this is a silly question but how do you get the USB-A to transfer the data through the upstream port? I go into Device Manager and can see the USB-B appearing and disappearing when I plug and unplug it out of my PC but nothing I put in the USB-A is picked up in Device Manager. Other than that, monitor is lit

What skateboarding game is that at 4:21? Nice to see that Cooler Master didn't just make their first monitor this year. Waiting for reviews on their new Mini LED Tempest GP27U. 4K 27" (can't go any bigger due to my space) with Quantum Dot color, Display HDR 1000, 576 Full array local dimming zones and 160Hz for sub $1000 ($999 counts lol). No other Mini LED is really close to that price right now, Viewsonic has one with 1152 zones I think for $2500. As far as FALD goes, Sony had the first monitor under $1000 with its 96 zone In Zone M9 but with more than basic HDR it does show its limits, though I'm thankful they made the first one in this price class (it's now $800 so $100 off it's launch price).

Who can help with adjusting the brightness on the monitor? It’s just that the standard value of 90 brightness really hurts my eyes, I set it to 70, but somehow everything became dimmer, and it still hurts my eyes a little

I'm undecided between this monitor and ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQZ. I have an AMD graphcs card so the ASUS monitor not having Freesync support is kind of a deal breaker but the Coolermaster costs ilke %17 more. What should I do?
You can get this monitor for $399 at Scorptech now, I think cheaper than Asus VG27.
@@luminair123 Well, I'm not in the US or Australia, so there's only one seller who imports the Coolermaster brand monitors and the prices can change wildly from model to model. This Coolermaster monitor is currently out of stock in my country. They'll probably start selling them again in 2023 with a %50-100 markup.

The edges and corners are really dark, I don't believe it doesn't have the most even lighting
It's a bit of an optical illusion if you look closely at the panel.

I'd rather have the choice of buying a monitor with KVM, or one without. If one never needs to use KVM, why have to have the darned thing on it for an added extra manufacturing cost? Just because one Can do a thing, doesn't necessarily mean one should do that thing. 😼

@@b_l_xxn_4874 Is it 150USD? If it is, that is a great value for the monitor. It is really great response time is as advertised. The only down side I would say is that there are no KVM, which is if your planning to use this monitor on multiple system it will be a hassle. I really like the slim design of the monitor that is why I got it. But yeah for that price it is really good.

Hey guys, want a better 1440p IPS panel for $330 USD? It's called the Gigabyte M27Q. I've had it for a year. For starters, it has the KVM feature, the same contrast ratio, 350 nits, 92% of DCI-P3, and 140% sRGB (no oversaturation), and for artists, it also has 92% of Adobe RGB. You can't go wrong. I recommended it to a friend who does Graphic Design, and he loves it too.

Gigabyte use Sharp bgr layout panels but other monitor producers use rgb layout panels . It says bgr layout panels reduces clarity specially when you have to read something .
@@Azaen2000 I'm someone who's dealt with eye strain and I've had no issues reading text on the M27Q. Some of the new Gigabyte monitors have RGB panels

Блин, в каждом обзоре видны эти ужасные тёмные пятна по краям монитора... Подсветка дисплея очень неравномерная. Дизлайк этому монитору. Сам вот только сегодня отдал обратно в магазин. Не рекомендую к покупке. А ещё ужасный штатив. Все пластиковые крепления очень хлипкие.
This is more like an overview instead of a review
It's overpriced. Too close in pricing to Odyssey G7 whose panel is superior to this in every possible way shape and form. It is 1440p and high refresh rate but IPS so terrible contrast and as you've said could include at least a KVM at that price. Refresh rate aside it has nothing worth mentioning that sets it apart from any other 1440p IPS and competitive shooter type gamers that can drive a 1440p165hz panel would still likely prefer 1080p 240/360hz or a G7 which can do 1440p240hz.
Not everyone wants a G7. Settle down
