When you got to pilot Rex in mgs4. Surprised it's not even on the list.
Psycho Mantis should be #1 hands down. Their was no other boss like him. He can read your memory card and you have to change your controller slot to slot 2 in order to beat him.

Liquid Ocelot is my absolute favorite, it has so much epicness
But it’s just tekken. Story wise and visually it’s sick but nah. The End is the best boss fight ever
Some of the most exciting and unique bosses came from this franchise.
Vulcan Raven and Ocelot in MGS1 were great too.
The End is actually pretty tricky to out snipe. He will regularly spot you first and you won't have a chance to line him up before getting shot yourself. Much easier to sneak up from behind and track him down spot to spot.
You can avoid The End Boss fight altogether if you kill him while he still in his Wheelchair being dragged by Volgin's soilders when you first get the sniper rifle

The Moss Camo is also the best in the game

Exactly. Big Boss fight is masterful. The end fight is cool an all but not number 1
Tell me why the top 3 aren't:
1. The Boss
2. MGS4 Ocelot
3. Psycho Mantis.
Then after that you can put The End and Sorrow. Etc.
Ocelot (liquid) for me is the best. So intense

My favorite thing about MGS boss fights is that upping the difficulty mode completely transforms the fights. It's why I've never gotten tired of replaying these games for the past 20+ years
The Ocelot Boss Fight that turns into every final boss fight throughout the series.
You left out Solidus Snake
The boss from MGS3 will always be my top 3 boss fight along psycho mantis and of course liquid snake from MGS1
fun fact: If you can find the parrot right at the beginning where you land as snake. You can catch that little devil and he will tell you were 'The end' is during that intense boss fight. Also one of the many options to take him out, this boss is legendary.

Grey Fox MGS is the best boss for me. The build up, the background story, and the fight itself is perfect.

colonel volgen fight is too low, that was one hell of a boss fight that was much better than many of the bosses ranked ahead. The wolf robot fight in the snow in mgs4 at shadowmoses was much better boss fight than sniperwolf too, and the sorrow...really? Questionable list to say the least
Agree on The Sorrow, but Wolf... this fight could have been much better, but sadly was totally ruined by respawning troopers.

Fun Fact: if you do a pacifist run in MGS3, no ghosts will appear during by the Sorrow segment however the bosses will still show up (since they blow up in the end even if you only use tranquilizers).
If a vulture is eating an enemy and you kill and eat the vulture, the enemy will show up in the segment and say “YOU ATE ME”.
This is a 2004 game for the PS2. IDGAF about 8K RAY TRACING SIMULATED PUDDLE ENGINE, give me gameplay mechanics like in MGS3. Games are not fun anymore because studios would rather have a dev spend 19 hours a day polishing a single asset no one cares about instead of reinventing game design and showcase innovative gameplay techniques.
MGS2 had a lot of random cosmetic features that got a lot of press, like ice melting. And how it melted slower if it was close to another piece of ice. Realistically. These days, that's the last thing anyone remembers about the game.
