I absolutely love the fact that Rudeus saved Ruijerd in much the same way that Roxy saved him all those years ago. Just making that first step on your own when you don't know how or are too scared to make that first step is huge
Thanks for continuing with the Mushoku Sunday series. I really felt like the anime missed a whole bunch of key moments that would add up to a better emotional climax during dead end's partings. The meeting with the missionary knight will probably be important and brought back up in the near future, the fact that the anime completely skipped over this boggles me a bit. It's a shame that many of these informations are unknown to anime onlies and it requires the viewers an extra mile to truly appreciate the show. When I see other reaction channels react to Mushoku Tensei, I'd just wish that they had these context to based off of and understand why certain things went the way it did, why certain actions are taken by the characters and the over all in depth world/character building that's happening throughout the whole show. I have no doubt that each information given by the author will be mentioned in future cours and can play an important pivotal role in the story. I wonder how the anime will cover things such as the Superd curse, battle aura, magic schools etc. Hopefully they won't just skip over it and leave the viewers with no explanation. In any case, thanks for the video ;)
What I wouldn't give for an adaptation done like most shonens where it's just hundreds of episodes lol. I eat up all the oddities that the anime skips over. Like for instance all the magic and politics.
This man is equivalent to a war criminal who has done his time but has turned a new leaf, unfortunately his past is always with him, an up hill and a hopeless battle. But when he saved 2 little lost puppies and escorted them home safe and sound, he unknowingly made a powerful friend who would do anything to repay him. It's like an ex gangster saving 2 kids from a plane crash in the middle of the amazon, and the 2 kids grows up to be a star athlete and a billionaire.
There is also extra information about Ruijerds past released with the Blu-ray releases called MT BD Chapter 3: Newly written Novel 3 “His spear is a little short”
I just finished god of war ragnarok and the similarities between kratos and ruijerd is insane allmost same backstory tho ruijerd tries to clear his tribe name kratos is done after his revenge and only survives his suicide cause plot and doesn t really care about living cause he thinks he is a monster, only until he meets his wife, yet still doesn t learn and it is only trough his son that he starts to remember his wife lessons and aplying it to be a better person, that he is capable of love and worthy to recive it
Im guessing the setting for the curse in the Devil Spear is fierce + green hair. losing both, tone down the curse. Regretfully spearlike weapon is also affected by the prejudice.

I'd go with that analogy if it was a soldier who was inside a fighter jet that suddenly had his controls remotely taken over by his commander.
