@@pmmm712011 mushoku pretty much as every character fleshed out from backstory to aspirations and motivations, fears and the like. it's almost as if, if you give your characters the TLC they need to become characters people can relate and quite literally get more invested in that character, regardless of whether they are second third or background characters, for example, Geese is a third character, and yet he has more TLC put into him then the majority of secondary characters in other animes. truly this mushoku tensei is a god damn blessing to us.

I always taught zenith had so little time in the anime and she deserved more, specially being the only one still missin yet, i recwntly started reading the novels i'm on volume 2, and god that extra chapter for zenith was amazing, such a shame is not incorpored in the anime.
Its amazing how little shes in it yet how much i wanted to see her again out of all the cast. So much so that i started to read the light novels after season 1. The first light novels ive ever read.
Same here. I was in tears making my way through Vol 13 - Vol 16. A lot of it hit close to home in regards to my personal life. I like this guy's channel because of how he relates to Mushoku Tensei

The first time I read this chapter, I was tearing up. I will periodically reread the chapter especially when thinking of my mom. Listening to Andrew break everything down in this video, I found myself tearing up again like the first time I read this chapter.

I only tell you this because if they Truly animate the entire series, it'll be the year 2040 when it's done lol
Its a suprising easy and enjoyable read, this series. Takes about an hour or so for your brain to start to make the movie at first but once it gets, reading the book is just as good.

I always thought that the familiy conversation when Lilia is pregnant should be considered a turning point. Everything could've been so different even if things was a little different.
That’s a very interesting concept. Her worries about if her son loves them/her finally getting answered with a yes at the same time she finds out Paul was cheating on her and got Lilia pregnant. So as a new stress popped in an old one left.
Great vid. It's sad their skipping most of the side stories. Lest we got Eris goblin slayer adventure as OVA. Hope they do more like that but it is doubtful.

Rudues getting told 'thank you for being born' has such grand implications, he probably hasn't heard anything like that since his previous life before school, and on top of that the weird backstory of the mushoku world itself; that child was meant to be stillborn due to the large amount of mana, but it wasnt, because of rudues's soul. It's because he WAS born, that they are and have a family
I love zeniths character, she reminds me of my mom, there are many similarities in their character, i truly wish we had some more content about Zenith she's just such a likable and warm person

Damn, i actually cried to that chapter. Mushoku Tensei is beautifully written. Zenith is a phenomenal character that passage about her wondering why she even worried if she would feel disdain towards aisha was genuinely beautiful.
I believe they did include this chapter as a bit of an easter egg. When ruddy decides to go search for her in the last episode we get to see Zenith as she tells him "i love you". I'm sure they inserted this as a memory that readers could recognize

Beyond the fact Zenith is beautiful, she actually is a real lover, she has a casual and modest sensuality in all of her actions, she's a master at the feminine arts, and she's a sweetheart through and through. As her name suggest, she's the "Zenith" of femininity. I love Eris as a character, but if you had to marry one, Zenith win's hands down. The runner up, is Zenith's protégé, Sylphie. Who is also beautiful, loyal, and works hard to be a good mate, but has only mastered half of the attractive attributes Zenith has, and she doesn't have Zenith's innate intuition on how to be an s-tier flirt.

@@yaboyfuze6193 Have you read the books? Eris completely and utterly dominates Rudeus in bed (who is himself in better condition than probably any man you know). I guess if you like being dominated, and having utterly nothing you can do about it, then saddle up. I have nothing against strong women, but I'm not interested in being physically inferior to them, that's not what attracts me to a woman, and Eris is one of the physically strongest characters on the planet, and she throws that strength around on the regular. Not only does Eris not win in the line up, I wouldn't marry Eris, given the opportunity, even if I had no other options. However, I love the fact Rudeus does, as it makes for great story chemistry, and I really love the Rudeus x Eris dynamic. But it's definitely one of those "better him than me" sort of deals.
Reminds me of my mother and I. I used to be so awkward around her and only feel her warmth growing up from her taking care of me when I’m sick and the food she backs or buys makes me happy internally. It’s not until I’m in my 20’s we start having long conversations and cook for eachother whenever we go out or meet with my other siblings from time to time. People are complicated and nothing is ever perfect but I always loved her and still do. Beautiful story and many people have it different and that’s the beauty of humanity

From Lilias perspective despite getting raped by Paul, her assessment and interactions with other men suggested he wasnt a truly insidious character, despite what transpired
I love how Zenith's story has that "I can fix him" fantasy when it comes to her relationship with Paul, especially how despite being raised traditionally and in a religious home, she still would choose the Chad/Bad Boy who is known for not being monogamous. But the part that makes me buy that Paul would choose Zenith as his wife is because she is young, beautiful, and pure upon their first time together. And there is a (kinda) sense of honor with the guy, in terms of when it comes to the people he cares about. If it was any other woman, he probably wouldn't have stayed with her because he can tell she wouldn't be the marriage material type, while Zenith is more than capable to be a faithful wife because of her upbringing. In a weird way, both Zenith and Paul are the fantasy that we all wish for. The pure woman who has restraint (to some extent) but has a sense of adventure and is able to tame the Chad who sleeps around but is willing to be tied down to one woman because she is traditional. It's the kind of thing we all wish could happen but only does in the world of anime & fiction. But I also have to give the author credit for making it believable for these two characters.
While I love this stuff & obviously Mushoku Tensei too, as a anime only guy(so far) it leaves me a little unsure as how much souce content I should be watching? This particular video is obviously fine but i'm can't help myself but watch other videos about other parts of the story many of which are based a long way in the future. It's hard to figure out what I should & what I should not be watching seeing as most if not all of it is potential spoilers, but otherwise I love your style & passion, please keep it up ;) Just to put it out there i'll be 60 yo next year & still watch way more anime than anything else, especially now that she who must be obeyed finally fled the coup & the kids have left home some time ago too. Just saying your never to old for good stories.
People want Paul because henis exactly what women want. In a world that people die everyday and people just move on. So here you went for people that can protect you. And Paul is just that. He can kill most because of his sword and even though he is a prev he can protect you. That's what woman want.
Rudy can use Healing Magic, he just can't use it Chant-less, which makes him slower at using it, making it unusable during battle (since Chant-less spell is fast that Chant spell).

The term Turning Point is for major time-line changes. Yes, this was a critical juncture for the Greyrat family, but not truly one for the time-line.
I think Turning Points are shifts between whatever Conflict is between the Man God and Orsted the Dragon God.
