I'm just trying to help, I was a plane captain for T-45 at NAS Meridian, unless something has changed the back seat does not have a "master arm", "gear", "hook" or "parking break" it does have the emergency gear release, and just so you know Training Wing 1 at Meridian, have an "A" on the tail and all aircraft nose numbers start with "1", Training Wing 2 at Kingsvillie have a "B" on the tail and start with "2", last is Pensacola, Training Wing 6(the only train backseaters/NFO's using T-45's, they do not use them for pilot training, pilot training is only conducted at Meridian and Kingsvillie) Pensacola has an "F" on the tail and all a/c start with "6".
i love that this is a mod. after multicrew came out i always thought there should be a free coop aircraft so people could get their friends in and show them around and try to get them in the game.
Funny how the HUD ladder shows on the other MFD as well when turned sideways :D Also the engine sound wasn't synced among many other things. Seems pretty bugged rn
Hi Cap question: I read somewhere that the MB339 (the one that you install via the .exe file) no longer works on 2.7. What happens if you click it? Will it corrupt DCS? Such a shame because I only installed it on 2.5 beta and it was actually a really good Mod.
I just want to say that this demonstration is unfortunately entirely underselling the multicrew functionality of the VNAO T-45C. I can see there are a few angry people in the comments here too that aren't happy with the release state of this free mod. This video is also most certainly not a guide, but rather footage of two guys going up for a quick fly without experimenting or reading up on the mod all too much, and is published to TH-cam as a guide... I'm quite surprised. MC in DCS is also a work in progress, and as far as I'm concerned - what VNAO have done with their limited resources and then to release it for free is awesome. They have also managed to create, from what I've experienced, a more consistent multi-crew aircraft. There are bugs, but the application is much more simple, is very predictable and can be overcome with a few tricks. I have been able to do just a few hours of flying in the T-45C with a buddy as a two-crew flight, and a few tips I can recommend to workaround some of the issues I've found are as follows: 1. Have both pilots match control positions (Flaps, Gear, Speedbrakes) which is really easily done through some simple comms. Also, communicate thrust setting prior to handover - pretty simple and helps people learn and practice to fly on pitch and power. 2. Keybind gear and flap settings, and check on keyboard controls for some other switches or just remap these buttons to something more memorable. The controls do work - more on that in a second. 3. Set Equally Responsible or Instructor Priority. (Equally Responsible seems to be Instructor Priority anyways, from what I've seen) The instructor can quickly give and take back control to reset the flaps/gear once control positions are matched between cockpits. Example: IP takeoff, once airborne and clean with controls matched between cockpits, the Instructor trims the aircraft out, and quickly double taps the request control keybind. Very easy to do and doesn't take away from the flight. 4. Don't handover control on the ground if suffering from control position glitches. Student Pilot should do the takeoff at least. I hope this helps at least someone. Really disappointing to see a video published as a 'guide' with no guidance and a hard knock against the good work the people over at VNAO have put into this mod.
This demonstration is EXPOSING the LACK OF multicrew functionality. A module that's supposedly a trainer shouldn't have been released with multicrew in this state as it's literally the most important feature. They should have got that working first, before wasting time on anything else. It just shows their lack of professionalism in project planning, which is to be expected when dealing with amateurs and scab labor.
Disappointing. Multicrew promised to be the most exciting part of this mod and, you'd think, the entire point of a trainer. Why release it in this state?
@@MrSpatull Or I can advise others not to waste their time with this less than half-baked module yet. Have you noticed there's a tendency to get what you pay for? I'm not against the concept of community mods, but they keep doing a really good job of reminding me what we pay ED for. No exception here.
@@AdmiralQuality damn, how dare these modders release something so broken and useless. It literally ruins the game for everyone, even on the servers where it isn't installed. These people doing this in their spare time for fun should have waited another 3 years to release it in a perfect state, higher than ED standards, instead of plaguing your install with something subpar. How dare they! If you don't like it, don't install it. It's still pretty sweet besides the multicrew. Its existence doesn't affect you in any way yet somehow you are upset about it?

I agree
Looks like the perfect plane for a married couple :)
That mod has a promising future.
Not really if ED just locks stuff away...
@@schweizerluchs7146 I fully expect that will happen and I can't wait to see all these fanboys flip their lids when it does.

I think this is something that eagle dynamics should focus on. B17 and b25 missions would be very fun. But also please start working on the f16
f16 should be on top priority imho right now....for all us customers
@@alexspartan3842 I really agree the list that came with the 2.7 update was laughable.
As they said, everyone's on f18 to get our out the door then focus will shift to f16

you can probably get your money back
Do both hear the engine? The other 2 seater free mod (Italian jet) doesn't have jet sounds for the joining pilot. Sounds like you do.

As far as I'm aware it just won't work anymore from 2.7 onwards, period :(
Looks like you are flying two instances of the plane and they are desyncing over time.
I'm getting "this add on is unathorized" from DCS steam edition...any fixes?
Sigues teniendo el problema?...
