So many people have gotten used to "free" shipping, they forget how expensive it actually is. Hello Great Video. I am trying to get back into car sales. (BMW or Mazda) there's is so much product . How does one learn all the different trim levels? All the best Shaun of NYC
If you want a job at any dealership in the world, have some phone experience and tell the interviewer you heard that you could have some success mining through orphan customers(car owners who's salesman no longer work for the dealership). Legit will work anywhere.
You go to work at a car dealership to be in sales my dude. Being a cashier is an entry level position and brings little value to the dealership. Management, finance, and sales (auto or service advisor) is where the money is made. BTW I live in Milwaukee so I know what Russ Darrow is. I worked at Andrew Toyota in the BDC and made $14 per hour plus commission and I averaged $20 per hour at the end of the year with both hourly and commission combined. I will be starting as a sales person at Honda City in a few weeks and can make up to $80,000 per year or more if I sell 20 cars per month or more. The average car sales person sells about 12 cars a month, but I know how to market and have a few tricks up my sleeve. Make sure if you are going to sell cars that you work at a high volume dealership and that dealerships pays well. Industry average is 25% of the gross profit of a sale plus bonuses on accessories and units sold per month. If you are very good and consistently sell 20 or more cars a month you can renegotiate your commission from 25% to 30%, but you need to prove yourself first. Don't sell for Andrew Toyota, their training sucks and the GM and owner are a**holes. Work for a dealership on Highway 100 as most dealerships there are the top sales volume dealerships in the entire State of Wisconsin.
@@michaelhuebner6843 hey man! I now work at Bergstrom, making 80-100k (as long as I’m selling 18 cars a month). Way better dealer then that shitty Russ Darrow direct in Appleton haha. I bought my civic Si from Honda City! Say hi to brian for me (the older gentalman)

High end auto sales that's pretty cool but then again how many lambos did you guy's sell a month? As opposed to how many Hyundai or Kia Toyota Ford Chevy. Know whar I'm saying?
honestly, I was browsing craigslist, saw an ad "hiring sales associate, no experience needed". Sent resume, got interview, said im motivated to make money. got hired. I figure they hire anybody.
Basically how I got mine. Got called back a week later after my first interview with them they said they wanted to interview other candidates so I went to lunch with my dad and they called me less than 20 minutes after I left and offered me the job
Also walk in with a tie and ask to speak to the GM...multi talented? You need someone you know Will get anything done that no one else can. Multi talented. Great job getting a Job at Lamborghini you're losing customers if you're not getting the job at the dealership you choose. . Guy's ask them to give you 1 chance. Tell the GM you will lead the board selling 20 car's a month make sure you sell 28 29 30. The 2nd month dominate. I sell 29 on bad months. I've been trained by the best keep in mind. I follow the road to the sale. Thats all I do learn it
Selling luxury brands is hard. The commissions are higher because the profit margins are higher, but those dealerships sell very few cars every month. Higher commissions but much fewer units sold. If you want to sell a lot of cars then sell Toyota, Honda, or Kia/Hyundai. These are the top 3 selling brands in America. Kia/Hyundai have stepped up their game in the past few years and are getting rid of their prior bad reputation of being cheap and crappy cars.

No more firm handshakes🤝🚫
honestly, I was browsing craigslist, saw an ad "hiring sales associate, no experience needed".
Thats all I do learn it
Hey thanks for the info. I feel more confident going into my interview with Masarati. Thank you.
