Absolutely a wonderful and challenging workout. I have had my pilates machine since 2003 and you are showing me new ways to use it. My abs hurt right after the workout and I am so excited to come home and do more. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much! Great point re: the head lift - lifting to the tips of the shoulder blades is the ultimate goal, but starting slow (lifting to where you comfortably can, resting the head down as needed) and working your way up to longer periods of the head lifted and increasing the range of the lift over time is a good progression to plan for. It takes time to build the neck and ab strength and endurance to support that range of lift, so you will likely get there in time with practice! Good luck!
I just did this super challenging workout and shared it with my pilates fb group!! Love it, my heart beating, sweating and shaking!!! Wonderful workout, especially for my lower abs!!

It’s the Balanced Body Pilates IQ reformer, which they rebranded as the Metro IQ reformer last year. The frame slides to collapse it to about half its size for storage. I love it and think it’s a great choice for home use!

Wow, great workout! I can’t lift my head and neck as much as you say but I can feel it in my abs. Bonus relaxing and stretching my traps.
