    Oh my gosh that was incredible! Exactly what I needed for my abs! I really liked the leg curls, never done those before, fire for the Hamstrings!❤ Had one problem though, my standing knee was bothering me, kind of painful. Checked alignment and toes were forward, soft knee. Do you have any suggestions? Might need to rebuild the strength but thought you may have a tip.
    Incredible workout!

      So glad you enjoyed it!! If your knee was painful, I suggest dropping down to a lighter weight, if that's an option, or reducing the range of motion. It also depends on where the pain is....

    Hi Gabrielle…love all your workouts!!! You are terrific ☺️I purchased the straps that you had recommended, and I saw someone was concerned that they only offer them with the metal rings. I ordered them for my Balanced Body Rialto Reformer and they work great. Well worth the investment. Thank you for all you do. 💕Congratulations on your new baby!

    Great little sequence! I like the addition of the footwork plus abs, it increases activation. Explained in a simple way, good queues! ✨

    Does it matter if we have a different brand/cheaper reformer than you use in this video? Or will it still work?

    • @SaranPilates
      @SaranPilates  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! It's absolutely not necessary to have the same reformer I have! You can have a different model or brand. My reformer has three different spring tensions: three heavy springs, one medium spring, and one light spring. My reformer is elevated off the floor but most of my workouts can be done with a reformer that has no legs. Hope that helps!

      @@SaranPilates awesome!! Thanks! My reformer does incline. Thanks so much!!

    Can we do Pilates daily or we need to give "rest" to muscles like conventional exercises.

    • @trillianmcmillian2660
      @trillianmcmillian2660 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question, Im just guessing but I would think if you do a major workout have a rest day to allow the muscles to repair and if you just do basic you can do it daily. Because back in the day we would use our abs everyday

    • @SaranPilates
      @SaranPilates  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! The short answer is yes, you can do Pilates everyday. Now, if you focused a lot on one muscle group - say hamstrings and glutes, and you feel sore the next day, I would just focus on another muscle group, or a nice balanced full body workout instead. Pilates is low-impact, healthy for the joints, it stretches and strengthens, so totally safe to do every day.

      It's a contemporary move, so not really anything technical... I think of it as the standing carriage leg pull.
