  • ALDI sell some great kit which doesn't cost the earth.
Working off grid on the allotment I thought this cordless jigsaw would be useful. It's been invaluable. And with the same battery and charger as the cordless saw, even better.
I'm not affiliated with ALDI at all, just think FERREX is producing some decent kit if you don't want to spend the earth.
    Thanks for tuning in.

Very nice saw! I purchased a battery powered nailer for my husband he loves it no more extension cord or compressor air line. We too use recycled products we just built raised beds for our daughter then fenced them to keep the deer out all with recycled lumber. After putting weed cloth in the bottom of the bed we lined it with a layer of left over 12”x12” tiles to keep the moles out we hope. I’m enjoying watching your progress.

Thanks. Def worth having, I'm on the lookout for the nailer too but theyhaven't had them in stock for a long time now. Well done on the beds they sound great, and re-cycling stuff in the process, awesome. Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed the vid. All the best Nige

@@topoftheplotshomestead When you get ready to plant if you like and it is allowed I have a rare squash seed I’d share called Hopi Pale Grey makes lovely pies, we like it just baked.

@@amandamodin4912 Wow Amanda that's so generous of you. Sounds delicious. Caz is vegetarian so I'm sure she'd love to try it

@@topoftheplotshomestead didn’t know Caz was vegetarian I first started watching her knitting videos I’m a machine knitter I’ve use several of her patterns. We’re vegan so I can relate. I mainly knit for our local homeless shelter. We have apple, pear, plum trees, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries & a large in ground vegetable garden don’t know what we’ll get this year as we’re in a drought.

@@amandamodin4912 That's amazing Amanda. Yes Caz has been veggie for a long time now. I'll tell her you've done some of her patterns she'll be so pleased. So nice to knit for charity too. Animal rescue is our go to, having 7 rescue dogs, but you probably know that already :) Hope you get some respite from teh drought soon.
