Useful review showing everything I want to know before buying masonry bits, including the impact drill which also looks good. Thanks!

0:51 when Aldi makes a better drill bit case than Milwaukee

Is that a new set of batteries / tools? I always saw active energy battery sistemite from Aldi

Not very new. Here in Australia they're called ferrex and the old name was workzone

The Bits looks okey. for me im using BOSCH CYL-9 Multi-Purpose Bits Made in Germany and they are Great, especially for masonary. For others purpose not so good but get the job done.

The best use of multi-purpose bits is mixed materials. Like fibre cement panels or sheet metal over masonry. A HSS bit will blunt as soon as it hits the masonry.

That was pretty impressive. I’ve out a Milwaukee M18 Fuel hammer drill and it took me 15 minutes to drill 4 5mm holes in brick so I could mount my Ring doorbell. I was using a $12 Sutton masonry bit. I was so annoyed at how long it took, I went out and purchased a rotary hammer drill. Maybe I got a dodgy bit because your Aldi bit did it in seconds. I definitely had it in hammer mode.

Damn you must have hard brick! Generally, any drill bit can get through brick, eventually. You don't even need hammering, they just kinda scrape away the material (ruining the bit in the process). It helps to put the drill on high speed also
But anyway, welcome to the club! When you have a rotary hammer, everything looks like concrete

Try using pilot hole when using larger drill bits

Nice test. Would have been good to see the 5mm do another run on the first material to see if it was drilling slower

Thanks! If ppl are interested enough in this I can set something up with proper timings. This was just a quick one to see how they go and, well, sometimes I just want to make a video in 5 hours rather than 5 days 😂

Thank you . I would like to review Bosch Professional SDS Plus 7X Hammer Drill Bit Set, (For Reinforced Concrete)
or any Bit sds (For Reinforced Concrete)
    Once again thank you

I mainly buy these cheap drill bits for demolition and splitting purposes where the diameter does not matter as much. Often the soldering job is so shitty that i have to regrind them since the carbide is not centered.
