- In This Video, I'll Be Showing You How To Factory Reset A Computer Or Laptop To Factory Settings Running Windows 10, If you Simply Want To Give It To Someone Without Your Data Or If You Want To Sell It. This Is Also Called In Other Terms, How to reset windows 10 to factory settings, or how to hard reset a laptop or pc running windows 10, and or how to format windows 10 without cd or USB.
⚠️Disclaimer: This Only Works For The Hard Drive/ SSD That Windows Is Already Installed On, If You Have A Secondary Hard Drive OR SSD You Need To Manually Format That Drive To Remove Your Data. This Tutorial Is Not About A Full Phase Drive Wipe (Meaning Data Can Still Be Recovered Using Third-Party Software), The "Fully Clean The Drive Option" As You See In The Video Can Act Like A Full Phase Wipe But Can Last Many Hours To Complete Just FYI.
⚠️. If you get a option that says local or cloud, do a local so it can disconnect it self from the email you used t sign on to Microsoft. You can verify it took your files by not signing on to your computer using your email, you can choose the no Microsoft account to sign on by not connecting to the internet At the begging of the initial setup at the beginning.

To reset my pc it says that i have to "Enter the Recovery Key to get going again" You didn't mention or go over that one.

Any option is fine. Cloud download takes more storage and it will take hours to proceed the process, or you can choose local reinstall windows, where it will only take a minute or two for the process. You can choose any option, and the data will still be completely removed

Deleted everything including the essential ones that support most of the system and now it's all error and can't do anything.
I've been stabbing at the dark for hours on my PC. For 3 months now Microsoft just stopped working on the sign-in screen. My niece set it up when I purchased it 7 years ago and the darn thing will not override the admin settings to to anything.

If you are planning to sell it you may want to keep drivers and operating system for ease of use for the customer

I had an admin account from a school i was in, the damn account blocked so much stuff and was annoying asf, this helped me get rid of it, about files and other stuff, they werent really to important but i did save some of it in a usb

The windows key is linked to your motherboard. So you can reset windows as many times as you want

If you factory reset ur pc it returns to the default settings in drive c and removes your present apps, the drive d will remain the same. There is also an option if you want to keep your files or not.
My PC was infected with a virus or spyware that caused my PC performance and stability issues?
It will help me to restore to factory settings or immediately reformat the entire HDD and then install Windows 10 from a DVD, what will solve this problem 100% ???
The process in the video should do all of that for you without the need of a dvd (if your system installation file is not infected) everything should go smooth and you can choose the option that says delete all my files and data, this should wipe ur old stuff including the virus.

What if it’s encrypted and asked for a bit locker key? Is it posible ?
Is your Microsoft account connected to your pc/laptop? If so, just go to the link that is suggested and follow the instructions there, I know I'm a year late but this is help to people who read this comment later

2:34 he said “Destroyed the drive” This is not true it will do a deep clean and the file you have on the drive will be hard to recover it does not destroy your drive

I said completely destroy files (personal files, documents, pictures etc) not the drive.

I just did it but it’s saying user profile service failed the sign in user profile cannot be loaded. I hit OK and just takes me back to the sign in page…. it won’t let me start a new user or sign in. Please help

Me too I think there’s a virus on my computer but it keeps failing.
In some cases since this issue needs further investigation or diagnosis the reasons that this happen maybe from a bad hard drive, or the internal windows setup file located in your hard drive could be corrupted due to a virus or failed update file causing an issue. The only other way to do this is by installing windows setup on a flash drive and go from there, regarding a bad hard drive you will need a new hard drive. Hope this helps.

My computer said that my user profile can't be logged into and I'm on a temporary file and now all my user profiles can't be logged into not because they are corrupted but because at the login screen the switch user thing doesn't exist and I can only login to my temporary account should I reset my pc and will it erase data like progress on games like Forza horizon 5 or Minecraft because I know it deletes Minecraft world's
