Add Privacy Badger. These work well for me, judging from the amount of bitching I get from some websites trying to get in. There are some other additions you could try, but see how you go with those. make sure you ram is running at its intended mhz and not 2133. this was my problem for long time. bios reset and was running stock 2133 instead of 3600mhz. to check your current running memory speed open task manager > click performance > click on memory, then on the bottom right should say your running speed.

I did the 'Reset my PC' last night after having my computer BSOD loop after the last 21H1 update. Took about 90 minutes on a NVME M.2 C:\ drive on a PC connected to a 1gb Fiber connection to get it back to working condition again. And I definitely turned on the Restore Point feature after this reset.
If your system files are corrupted, then the cloud reset would be better. But since you have no way of knowing that your system files are corrupted, you should always use the cloud reset. I mean, of course there are possibilities, but we're talking about the normal user here, not someone who enters commands in cmd just to check whether they can do local or not.
@@MO_8 Yes. Cloud and local will reset everything. You need to store all your important files on a USB stick, external hard drive or via a cloud provider such as OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox. If you do not store your data somewhere separate from your computer, you risk permanently losing all your data at any time.

My old Dell desktop was running very slow. I thought there was molasses in my hard drive. Rebooting would not do it. I went through this process and my Dell seems magically renewed. It is about a 2 hour process followed by reestablishing most of the old favorites and settings.
Me with a 30 series RTX gpu, 32 gigs of ram, and Ryzen cpu: Yes, mines plugged in. Same universe, and not all that crazy to have a desktop computer. It’s 2021 not 1994

I’m selling my gaming pc but want to remove my user and keep preinstalled software and apps that the PC first had when I received it such as AMD software, Audio driver, graphics driver, Microsoft visuals, etc. So that way the person I sell to doesn’t have to go through the hassle of reinstalling everything. If it is (fried means system files have been compromised or broken) search up how to install windows 10 from a separate device. (ex: booting into windows xp or vista on a old laptop and doing a new installation of windows 10.) But I don't know, if that doesn't work punch it a couple times and pray that you didn't break something.
September 2, 2022, this method works! My concern was for some reason i cant manually delete those very big compressed files on my drive d.. I wanna start everything fresh. Like its new. And im okay with that. I wanna delete those unnecessary files esp in drive d.. I proceeded to delete everything. Clean slate... Just one reminder. On my end, it mentioned about TPS or TPM i think. Just dont change it press ESC as it shows on the screen. U will do some microsoft setup once it restarted. Like your microsoft account password setup., etc., Then... Wallaaa... Once inside windows i checked my storage. All is clean slate. That felt good. Bec for years those big files on my drive d, i dont even know what they are🤣... So yeah, what a relief. Done. Ty

@@AbhishekKumar-bn9cf i clicked REMOVE EVERYTHING , it just made laptop like when it is unboxed, no manufacturer installed things deleted just deletes what u download and settings u did after u unboxed. in REMOVE EVERYTHING you have to choose LOCAL INSTALL or else windows os is also deleted so be careful.
If i have apps that i paid for on launchers like Xbox, EA, Ubisoft, or Steam will i have to Re-buy them if i erase everything, or is the account data for those things stored not on the drive? @@LuckyYeti I relise I was inccorect and windows will reinstall so do what ever both are a good way to clean up ur pc but if you choose to keep files ur pc may not increase preformace as much as you may like I suggest doing a full wipe but prior to doing so you backup and save anyfiles on a usb drive before proceeding
For example if i have a game size 10gb on My H: drive and i reinstall the windows on C:drive and it delete my all shortcuts including the game's shortcut on desktop will it also delete my Whole game that is install on my H:drive

Thank you!! I didn't want to have to do this after only having my laptop for one year and having tonnes of apps mostly VSTs and music stuff. I tried my best to keep my laptop safe as best as I could. Didn't download anything suspicious and ran virus/malware scans and repairs very regularly. When I run the repair (ReImage) it says there is no problems with the stability or anything else and the virus scanner (Spyhunter) shows no viruses/malware. I'm not sure what the problem is. I deleted some apps as I thought the RAM might be under pressure. Didn't help in any way. Windows/laptop keeps crashing every time I open an app (or basically do any little thing such as move a file or go on the web) and then gets stuck on black screen of death. Its unbearable at this stage. This is the last resort now, wish it hadn't come to this but it has. However I will accept it if the laptop works properly after the reset. However if after the reset if the system is still constantly crashing every 10 minutes after login then its curtains :/

i have a gaming computer and i have all kind of programs and stuff on so i resetted everything to have good performance and to have a clean good computer
why does the app close when i click recovery?!
which setting is right for me when i wanted my pc to be like when it was unboxed with, manufacturer pre-installed (apps, drivers windows os, ms office etc. ). i don't need any personal files or apps i have installed.

@@AbhishekKumar-bn9cf i clicked REMOVE EVERYTHING , it just made laptop like when it is unboxed, no manufacturer installed things deleted just deletes what u download and settings u did after u unboxed. in REMOVE EVERYTHING you have to choose LOCAL INSTALL or else windows os is also deleted so be careful.

If i have apps that i paid for on launchers like Xbox, EA, Ubisoft, or Steam will i have to Re-buy them if i erase everything, or is the account data for those things stored not on the drive? The quicker the response, the better thank you. i need to use this PC for important work, so i need to get it fixed ASAP, but i need to know if i'll be wasting money.
All of that launchers work online , your information don’t will be deleted (sorry for my bad English )
if u doing a full reset not keeping anything make sure to check the reinstall windows or u will have to pay to get windows again fwi hope I saved you guys hundreds :D
If I keep my personal files , will my drivers and some games and emulators installed on C drive be deleted?
@@LuckyYeti I relise I was inccorect and windows will reinstall so do what ever both are a good way to clean up ur pc but if you choose to keep files ur pc may not increase preformace as much as you may like I suggest doing a full wipe but prior to doing so you backup and save anyfiles on a usb drive before proceeding

For example if i have a game size 10gb on My H: drive and i reinstall the windows on C:drive and it delete my all shortcuts including the game's shortcut on desktop will it also delete my Whole game that is install on my H:drive

Do i need to manually create a system image file? Or is it made by the computer automatically? Im leaning on the local reset but not sure if i need the file
i'm resetting my pc rn and i've looked up countless videos on how to make the update finish but its stuck at 75% and theres no telling of how long it will take but if anyone seems my comment and has the same problem when they reset their pc the key is just to wait even if that means have ur pc on the whole day/night just DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR PC DURING THE PROCESS

Thank you!! I didn't want to have to do this after only having my laptop for one year and having tonnes of apps mostly VSTs and music stuff. I tried my best to keep my laptop safe as best as I could. Didn't download anything suspicious and ran virus/malware scans and repairs very regularly. When I run the repair (ReImage) it says there is no problems with the stability or anything else and the virus scanner (Spyhunter) shows no viruses/malware. I'm not sure what the problem is. I deleted some apps as I thought the RAM might be under pressure. Didn't help in any way. Windows/laptop keeps crashing every time I open an app (or basically do any little thing such as move a file or go on the web) and then gets stuck on black screen of death. Its unbearable at this stage. This is the last resort now, wish it hadn't come to this but it has. However I will accept it if the laptop works properly after the reset. However if after the reset if the system is still constantly crashing every 10 minutes after login then its curtains :/

that happened to me too, luckily my laptop was in warranty, so the manufacture company fixed it. They just emailed me a while and I ran it, and BOOM

Guys, if i had a pc with activated windows, and i make local reinstall so i delete all files, and then i give it to my friend who will use it, and he will log in with new account (he have never had pc before), does he need a new activation key or the one that i used stays on pc?

I have worked with many Linux distros, Unix series and all Windows. The least problematic for me has always been Unix (and good old DOS).
Windows still having these cryptic issues is nuts (we all know why they happen).
