I have a cousin who is my go-to guy for all things computer related. He lives about an hour away and comes when I call. I really wanted not to bother him with this and your video did the trick! Thank you for making me feel as though I know what I am doing. You are easy to follow and give precise directions. I am happy to report a successful attempt at getting my pc ready for resale. Thank you, thank you, thank you. WIPEOUT!
Thank you for anticipating our worries. I'm a nervous nelly and not tech-savvy, so every time I don't immediately see a response from the computer I'm supposed to see, I start panicking. I was glad when you said ( at 7.25 ) that the message "Restarting" ( or "resetting" ) might not come on immediately. A small detail, but things like that REALLY helps someone like me. Also, the fact that I can long-press the power button to switch off at the end when I see that it's back to factory settings. Believe me, I'd probably have thought about doing that, but I wouldn't have trusted my own opinion. Many of these tutorials don't mention what happens right at The End. Thanks for this, it really helped.

It won't let me reset. It gives me an error message when I press "Remove Everything" saying "Could not find the recovery environment: insert your windows installation or recovery media and restart your pc with the media"
I'm no expert but the windows license key gets stored on the motherboard inside the computer, it will work for him because he now would own the device with the windows key you originally bought it with. So you MIGHT have to buy a new windows key for your own computer (if you don't get a key with the computer purchase) so then the key gets registered to that device. BASICALLY when you sell the computer you ALSO sell the key.
Excellent presentation my friend, im going to sell my laptop but didn’t know how to reinstall windows 10 and destroy all my personal information in the process, thanks a million
I started PC gaming 5 ish years ago now and I actually bought the computer he is using in this video on his recommendation. Over the years I upgraded that computer until the only original part left was the case. Last year I switched to a Corsair case which is nice but now the only thing that remains from that Cyberpower prebuilt is the Windows 10 key. Today I am selling my computer as I don't really use it anymore (hence why I'm watching this video). It was a fun time being a PC gaming bro but I will now bow out. It won't let me reset. It gives me an error message when I press "Remove Everything" saying "Could not find the recovery environment: insert your windows installation or recovery media and restart your pc with the media"
So om Selling my pc, does this Mean the New owner gets my Windows license key or does he have to buy a key? Plz answer fast
doesn't need a new key, your old one will still be activated
I'm no expert but the windows license key gets stored on the motherboard inside the computer, it will work for him because he now would own the device with the windows key you originally bought it with. So you MIGHT have to buy a new windows key for your own computer (if you don't get a key with the computer purchase) so then the key gets registered to that device. BASICALLY when you sell the computer you ALSO sell the key.
If I pick he second option will it delete windows 10?
No. Windows will be reinstalled
Jaylen L. No
Extremely useful information here. Another tip is to disconnect your lan cable before starting or you will be forced to create a Microsoft account.
Excellent video. Now I know what I have to do to do away with worries when I sell my computer.
I'm jealous of your teeth
DiegoAlanTorres69 bc their white?
Are you also british?
Something about his teeth I don’t know
Excellent presentation my friend, im going to sell my laptop but didn’t know how to reinstall windows 10 and destroy all my personal information in the process, thanks a million
See ya later PC Master Race, I'm sure I'll be back again someday!
Hi, I was watching maybe 10 or more videos to know how to prepare my laptop for selling, your tutoring was the best, very simple and informative, I’m in the waiting time now , thanks so very much, I’ll update you with my final results.
This is an excellent explanation for those who are not computer techs.
