CALL ME GABRIEL Such an underrated episode, one of the best in the series imo. Bear McCreary's homage to 28 days later 'In The House, In a Heartbeat', for Maggie's scene was soooo hype. A great moment for her, probably her best season in the show. I'm ngl though although her acting was super, I think her reaction to Alden is a little over the top lol. She's barely seen him after being away for years. Daryl's speech to Leah is also peak, with a great lowkey score to go over it as well. Then the ending is such a twist, honestly one of my favourite episodes of the show, it's so impressive how this show has top tier episodes of TV from season 1 all the way to season 11.
You gotta admit Gabriel has become one of the best characters in The Walking Dead now From the scared priest in Season 5 to being loyal to his people and killing those who harm them But when Maggie killed the remaining Reapers I can bet that Negan saying if I had another chance I’d kill every last one of you was playing in Maggie’s mind when she killed them.
When Leah said I’ll see you soon she meant that when they let her friend Carver go Not that she was going to come back for Maggie She probably will now.
This was a brilliant episode which reminded me of the old days It’s slowly bringing back the thrill factor it has In the old days of TWD Judith and Gracie wouldn’t have survived that basement At least one of them would have been taken out by a Walker Also for positives Maggie going all Rick Grimes style was fun to see Will truly miss this show when it ends and I do get that people were upset that they dragged the Savior storyline for 2 and a half Seasons which was one of the reasons why people thought the show got boring back then.
Disagree with what Maggie did but i understand it. Also Gabriel is such a badass in the final few seasons, especially after the time jump. Negan was so proud after he said this is gabriel lmao
R.I.P. Alden you’re gonna be missed. When will we see Leah and Negan again Who knows. That ending left me with so many questions that I’m just ready for the next episode now.
Yeah people hate on Maggie for having all the same Qualities as S5 Rick 😂 she is a Savage leader who has dealt with the hardships of losing her family. She is hard headed and extremely Set in her ways. She's not going to allow anyone or anything to kill Hershel. He is all she has left of her bloodline and if Glenn. That and all her knowledge shes learned from everyone shes come across. Deanna, Rick, Georgie, Jesus, Hershel. Of course she cant forgive Negan. She shouldnt have to.
I just don’t like how she is a hypocrite who yells about Negan doing something then does the same thing five second later like when she left Gage to die in the train car
@@onetallpheeesh she has killed many parents herself, she needs to get over it.. her vendetta against Negan is literally costing her relationship with her own child, it's no wonder Hershel starts hating her at the end of dead city.
@visionturd1587 you would never let go of someone bashing in your loved ones head and laughing about it, dragging it out so that he and you suffer. Be so for real.
A great episode but where is fear the walking dead and i don't know if y'all have ever watched it but the flash is a good show for a while and a hole universe of shows from CW
Gabriel is fire and what I find interesting is I love maggie I think she’s a bad bitch and I agree with what she did but she is a hypocrite her and negan aren’t so different but she still holds a grudge against him she slaughtered Leah’s family in front of her without remorse for revenge and to protect her people
CALL ME GABRIEL

Negan is realizing he can’t trust Maggie’s promises Negan is a man of his word He keeps his deals and promises just like when he killed Glenn.
bro i see you everywhere
Yeah man I am basically everywhere.

I really love the left guy's reaction he really leaned forward during the Maggie badass scene.
Father Gabriel has the BADDEST line in the series. "Call me Gabriel" is just so fire, even Negan was smiling at it impressed. Maggie was goated here.
“WTF” had me dead😭

She doesn't have to forgive him, she has to get over it.. if her son can do that she can too.
@visionturd1587 her son didn't see it happening while going into pregnancy distress.
She doesn't have to get over it.
