Lining up stripes and other prints on diag. I press under the one side at 45deg. Lay it over the other side just like you did on the stripe until the prints line up exactly, then glue and stitch on your diag. fold. Perfect line up every time and on the diag. : )

I pre-ordered Scrappiness is Happiness and fell in love with that book when it arrived. I need to use up my scraps. I made a few mug rugs from Chex Mix but I want to make every block. I'm only making small items but these blocks are great for table toppers, mug rugs, etc. Looking forward to sewing with you.
I like your shark 🦈 block . It would be fun as a tote / purse to see what reaction you would get lol. The Santa hat could be a shark fin 😆 As for the emerald, it's your husband is to buy that 😉. Emerald birth stone is May. My sister has a beautiful one she requested at 50 💞 .Remember the men buy the jewelry and lingerie 😊

So glad to see you today! I took time yesterday to organize some of my work space!, I made 5 shark pillows and ended up with lots of extra scraps so I put it all in piles and cleaned off the design boards…ready to start a new project! Have a lovely day!

Good tip.
Ideally, I agree that you should fix the underlying issue for quilts that aren't measuring correctly. If I have exhausted that, I have found that if my measurements are off a little, I use the average value and ease both sides of the quilt. Depending on how big you quilt is you can get away with a little more if it is bigger.

I have already purchased my Scrappiness is Happiness Book and I’m looking forward to sewing 🧵 along with You all because I have so much of Lori’s fabric scraps and I’m going love 💕 using them all up, at least I’m hoping to! Love the teal quilt. Am looking at what color I want to use to make this quilt. Emerald is my birthstone; a beautiful green it is. Oh my cutting table...hahaha...it's my dining room table. I use it alot because it has four extensions leafs. And gets quite long. Hope you enjoyed your time off.

I love the wave stitch with machine quilting. How do you keep it straight through the whole quilt? I know you have a laser on your machine but with such a long line of quilting do you have other tricks to keep the waves parallel to each other throughout the whole project?

That shark pillow is going to be so cute. Can't hardly wait to see the finished project. I have a question----I love your ironing board cover. Would you mind sharing where you purchased it? I bought a new cover at a discount store and it is so thin that after a short time I have worn a hole in it already. Very frustrating. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful break. You deserve it so much as you work so hard to bring us a great daily video and it is so fun to watch but we all need a break sometimes. Enjoy.

Pat are u sewing the happiness quilt along scrappy? How about the background? Scrappy? Colored? White? Ecru? All 3? Scrappy Binding? Scrappy back? I am doing scrappy French General blocks binding and backing with scrappy ecru and white backing unless I find an ecru bargain I live!
i did announce it that I'm sewing along. I will tell you what I'm doing in a future video and when I build the project page. French General will be gorgeous
