Quilters for Ukraine Donation quilt hung at the Festival of Quilts in the UK. Our friend Lynne and all of the Oxfordshire Modern Quilt Guild organized to have it made and exhibited there to raise funds and they won 2nd place in the group quilt category! And Julie spotted it hanging in the show !

I really have never been drawn to the house blocks. Least of my favorites in the block family. That being said, although I do not like house blocks. I love the colors you picked out for your quilt.

Midnight Moon is impressive. You really did a great job. I have to say though my eye keeps going to the bat, taking me away from enjoying the rest of this fabulous quilt.
Maybe you could make a second design wall by hanging a flannel flat sheet from a curtain rod above your existing wall. Weight the sheet with metal washers so it would hang correctly. That way you could leave your big project up all the time.
The bat looks great where it is. Bats like to flying looks great there!
Midnight Moon is so beautiful. Will You Be My Neighbor is once again tugging at me, I love houses and house quilts. The first time this quilt was out I wanted to do it, but I had too much going on. Some how I need to squeeze it in now. I am going to look in my stash for some inspiration.

You know what you should do? Get yourself another design wall. A portable fold up one. I’ve seen them made from screens on wheels where both sides are used so you could have 3 projects on display. Think of the time you would save. Get Greg onto it. Could he make one. Wood frame, hinges and wheels. Stretch batting across each section of the wood frame before joining them with hinges. Add wheels. You’re done.
I think it would be so cute to just make a little quilt with the 3" blocks. I'm at the point where making big quilts is just too much. The little ones are great since they are easier to store and can be hung on a wall, laid on a table, etc. Yours is lovely, Pat. Going to be a stunner once it is fully finished.
Don’t forget that sashing and borders can make it bigger too.
Ha ha a little job for Greg would be to put your Halloween quilt blocks back later on the wall for you.
I have the Norm and Nanette kit…still. Ug. It is on my list of projects to get done.
When you need another design wall, why not pin up a temporary piece of flannel to the quilt you have hanging behind you that you can use to put up blocks? 😆
Or a flannel backed plastic table cloth so the plastic would be up against the one on the wall and wouldn't be a s likely to lift those blocks.
That's what I was thinking but Pat does keep things moving this way it seems. 💓🍁
Or put one up like a large window shade that rolls & down.

I stalled out after Block #8 in my Be My Neighbor quilt. I got excited at first and couldn't stop lol. BUT as you were talking about each of the blocks in your videos I realized I should have waited and made mine as you went along because you had some great advice on choosing fabrics. I just think some of my blocks look washed out, but then we are our worst critic, right? I've already sewn the first 2 rows together and will regroup and continue, but first I'll go back to your #9 video when I begin again. 🙂

Why don't you just hang a cheap table cloth with felt on back over your beautiful blocks? I have a very small area so that's what I have to do. Thank you for all your do!
Pat Sloan do you ever put extra blocks on the back of the same quilt? I liked that Norm was wearing his seatbelt 😆 Your house quilt gave me an idea to make an apartment quilt! We many who live in too few apartments ( and the rate they are building new ones is poor 🇨🇦) just might change through quilting! 😀❤

I’m having trouble getting to the free download for Promise Me. Please help. All of the sites take me to advertisements. Also, is there one site to get all the patterns for Will You Be My Neighbor?

Maybe I’m just dense, but I am unable to get them to come up. I push everything that is a different color or mentions Promise Me and the free pattern does not show. Did I misunderstand and that is not a free pattern?
