There is a trick to deal with Dyute. She needs 6HP to cast Aura, the only spell she has as a boss. Therefore, if she has 6 HP or less, she is harmless. She has 25 HP initially, exactly enough to cast Aura 4 times. She is also incapable of doubling. While she can teleport towards your party to attack your party, she cannot teleport away to be healed. Once she's out of HP, you can block her in to prevent her from running back to get healed. Do note that the boss has Reserve, which is a wide-area healing spell that covers the whole map. As a result, make sure the units keeping Dyute trapped can take a hit from her in case she gets healed this way. The rest of the map is all Wizards. You know what to do. Also, while you may dread this map, I guarantee you that you will be more traumatized by the two Fear Mountain maps. The first has a witch boss that summons more witches. The second has a very dangerous boss that can drop your HP to 1 from 1-5 range.

One of the biggest (and best) changes in the remake is the experience fountain now gives you a set amount of xp instead of filling it up to 99. Really helps when a unit is a level away from a promotion.
I have the remake for Gaiden it’s just as painful so good luck with the next map took me 5 times to do it because the mage girl keep attacking my bow units and getting herself killed
Wait you're playing Fire Emblem for fun? There might be a pretty big problem with that, seeing as it's Fire Emblem. (Also, what worked for me in the gaiden remakes was to get Dyuto down to 1 hp so she can't attack and then block the heal tile near her)

Kaga games aren't made to be fun, in general. The gameplay serves the story, and it shows with all the amount of tedious and frustrating BS they throw at you.
Yknow, people tried to tell me at one point that the new names and updated names in Echoes suck...meanwhile, I think every single one is better. Also, Armor Knight Kliff is such a good unit, but he also makes an amazing Archer to say screw Mages.
For a second I thought you were talking about Echoes. But considering this is the second game in the series it’s not surprising it’s got a fair share of flaws.
Spoiler: The game gets even worse. Though echoes is my favorite game, I will say some of Celica's later maps make me angry to an unhealthy level, and gaiden will make these maps even more frustrating. Good luck...

The bow range archer's have in this game is the most disgusting shit i've seen but its also what singlehandedly makes them good so its all good

Sometimes I wish I were playing echoes. I hear so many good things about echoes and here I am getting pounded by the 30 year old original version
