If something was actually supposed to happen when that timer out, I don’t think he would have added that. He knows that we think he is fictional. The question of who is "real" isn't as simple. Just refer to the classic idea that we're actually in a simulation. Do you consider yourself any less real if we were? Such a discovery might break a few people, most will ignore it, but me? I'm real and I'm sure Bill knows he is real as well.

It could explain why Alex works on so many shows, Bill is trying to get in to more people’s minds by subtly putting himself in shows like Rick and Morty and less subtly Amphibia. not only are the ciphers in the books there are cipher codes at the end of the gravity falls episodes that makes sense how he was the one who tricked alex into making the show, that wasnt alex making the ciphers it was bill.

So the events of Gravity Falls happen in one dimension, Bill infects our dimension's Alex Hirsch and forces him to create a "Gravity Falls" show retelling the events of Gravity Falls to the masses. And because of that he's able to send his book to our realm... so we are characters that exist in the same multiverse as Gravity Falls technically. Makes sense, and is in Bill's character to do, but then how does he expect us to shake his statue's hand??

@@moonknightanimations1251 seeing as this video posits the theory of alex being possessed on/off to make the show & book - sort of how Ford was when he was working with bill as his ‘muse’ - then the arg could’ve been concocted by bill himself, as an excuse to get his conduit statue in another universe (ours) via alex and the show. also if the arg is canon it could either be that bill possessed Stan after the events of the show or before. iirc there was just a voicemail or something referring to that in the ARG so it’s not like if he did get possessed offscreen we missed much. i actually can’t remember if bill can possess you while asleep or you HAVE to make a deal with him, but the plot relevance of Stan’s voicemail also depends on that. ALSO, the arg could’ve taken place before alex fully committed to the idea that bill was no longer in Stan’s head. technically we didn’t know for sure until this book.
I think the reason why the items look realistic and the photographs do not is because the photographs are images captured in the animated world, but the items kind of "Shift" in order to better fit in with our world. The book would probably look very different in Stanford's hands compared to our own, y'know?

Wait, I got an idea, The reason why bill decide to release the book of bill so late is because the show had no more fandom, There was no more attention,So by releasing a book, he got attention back, he revived the fandom. The reason with the 2016 hunt, attention, the reason why everything in the show is basically perfect, is because he needed attention. What I’m trying to say is, Bill has created a near perfect show about him for the attention, the hunt, jornal 3, the book of bill, it was all one big perfect statue for Attention.
Bill is attempting to input himself in our world in animation and books because he knows that ideas can be forgotten, ideas can be improved, however a digital stamp may not be forever gone or forever forgotten in a database somewhere, he knows that if he’s forgotten he dies, so he made himself unforgettable and impossible to destroy, but he can be weakened which is why Alex hirsch is still being possessed and is still putting out new content because the more information of himself he puts out the harder it is to be forgotten and weakened, the countdown may end but only when he is ready to show that he is unkillable and is effectively immortal as he achieves his goal.
Also have you noticed how every bill episode outside weirdmaggedon has a shortened intro almost as if bill is trying to get us to think about him and talk about himself as much as possible so we have a harder time getting himself out of our heads having many different hidden ideas and mini differences for us to find and to get into our heads and have us always have this nagging feeling there’s more lore in the that we have yet to find so we get more and more of bill in our heads
That’s a great thought! I want to expand on it with two ideas: 1. He isn’t communicating with an individual in that scenario, so the book would technically be the first time he broke the fourth wall for the reader. 2. It’s hard to determine if this is truly breaking the fourth wall. While, yes, something from the show is present our world, does a statue count? Even if it worked and let Bill into our minds, this one technically didn’t come from the show. The show’s statue is in Gravity Falls (Oregon) , while this one is in California. If it isn’t from the show itself, is it truly breaking the fourth wall? Sorry for the rant, this was just such an interesting thought that I had to spill out everything I was thinking (hence why I write scripts for my videos lmao)! My thought process could be very wrong on this right now, I’ll have to actually look at some of the content to come up with a conclusion, but now I have something to think about!
@RemGames If you think about what you said at the end about Bill tricking Alex into making the Gravity Falls TV show and inserting himself into it, that means Bill might have also made Alex do the irl Cipher hunt for the people who actually seem to enjoy anything Bill related. The hunt would just show Bill how many people in the real world really seem to "like" him, and like doing that massive hunt that THOUSANDS of people did. The hunt really just fed into Bill's wants. I think you are really touching on something with the multiverse theory. In one of the weirdmageddon episodes there’s a bit where Wendy and dipper are driving through dimension pockets or something and each one they hit they’d change into something different. I remember most of them being funny gags but there was one where they changed into real people suggesting there is a “live action dimension” as I like to call it.
4:12 on the page it says “maybe one day these parallel pines will get a chance to meet up face-to-face” if they ever make a gravity falls reboot I hope they use this concept as an episode.
This video has generated me so much amounts of adrenaline I want to punch a fricking tree for 1 hour straight! Gravity Falls is truly a show of a kind. The proof a show has come far is when a multiverse is created, and the main villain actually knows he shares a multiverse with us, real humans, and how well this same narrative is intricated with the events of our world, making the narrative and the marketing Alex is pushing for this same book feel even more real and, therefore, effective! I don´t think people realize how much of a positive step was made in the world of fiction with the creation of this book. Only Alex Hirsch to pull one of these, this man needs to be studied for how great he makes and applies ideas!

This is the ultimate meta-theory that I’ve been looking for for decades they connect everything in this show, but also connect everything in every universe of media humans have made. It’s a Multiverse of Multiverse and Omniverse if you will and it’s all connected thanks to a simple but insane dancing Dorito. Also on a sidenote, I find it funny that in a way if this theory is true, this basically just puts Bill in a power scaling level beating the teir system itself lol
I'd like to think that the reason some of the things that came from Gravity Falls are hyperrealistic in the book is this: Things that exist in two or more universes, ie our and GF's, will switch "styles" to fit into their surroundings. Hence the dollar bill being one of ours, hence the tape. AND hence the Polaroids! The stuff they're *made* of exists in our universe, so it looks like ours. But the *content* of them, the images of Gravity Falls' universe, doesn't. So it stays the same.

i can remember when i watched the last episode of gravity falls when i was a little kid and being really creeped out by the real life statue of bill, this book makes me feel the same way, cus what if bill is a real demon trying to take over the world and created the show gravity falls so people would remember who he is.

For the animation thing, in weirdmaggedon, Wendy and dipper can be seen driving through weirdness bubbles. In one, they turn realistic, into their voice actors. I believe this is a big piece of evidence regarding them being in an animated universe.
I have a feeling the website will continue to count backwards until another piece of the puzzle is solved and at which the countdown will begin to count forward, marking however long it’s been going to become the countdown for something big.

Great question! It’s VERY difficult to determine. I mentioned that I’ll provide two options later on in the series just because of how confusing this is, but you mentioned Gus Burnside and I HAVE to talk about that now! In the book, Stanford said he threw this book in a dimensional rift (the ones that connect the weird realm to Gravity Falls), so this book could have traveled ANYWHERE! With Bill able to travel through dimensions, we can’t just take the book’s existence in our world as proof that they are within the same universe. Now, we also can’t take this as proof that Gravity Falls is in a separate universe because of the statue that exists on Confusion Hill. But then we have to consider the fact that all of the photos from Stanford in the book show an animated world. Then it just becomes a loop of supporting and counter evidence, which is why (at least currently) we are unable to make a clear distinction wether our universes are the same

As for why things are super realistic, while the images are animated, it is because of the dimensional rules/ constraints. Bill made the book of brain matter so he can control it however he wants, but things that are added by others (paper pages or Polaroid photos) contort to the dimension that they exist in, so not to break reality, while the images on those items can remain the same (realistic Polaroid with animated photo)
The book shifts depending on the user, i think in universe its being read by one person, but then hes also speaking to us throught he fourth wall, and based on the book i think Candy is reading it. Mainly for the facts that whoever is reading it clearly knows the pines family is curious about Dipper, Bill specifies husbands instead of spouses or wives, and the portion on love seems like the questions are strsight from the readers brain, of the charecters we know Grenda and Candy would be curuous about Bill's love life, and speak like "methinks you doth protest too much" Candy makes the most sense because shes crushed on Dipper before and may do so again after the events of weridmageddon. It is also suspicious that Mabel or any other character would not mention Candy or Grenda. When talking about Mabel Bill, he says how he likes this kid, and Candy would think her friend is safe. But as the book goes on, she'll be more suspicious. in the end, Bill is shown to no longer be a threat. The notes still never mention Candy or Grenda, but they do mention sharing secrets and not keeping them in the dark, specifically sharing the book. The book changes depending on the reader. I think all of it is the manipulation of Candy and us on the other side of the fourth wall. And she's gonna share the book with more people and end up giving him several brains to go in and out of and return.
You may want to check the website again….the website looks a LOT different, I tried typing in the same password you used but when I did it didn’t work all it said is to “not say that name again” on the computer displayed on the website. There’s also a book next to the computer and when you tap on it, it appears like 2 scrap pages from the book of bill (idk, I haven’t read it yet) BUT when you check the corner there’s a new code, separate to the one I’ve seen in the video. I tried de-coding it using the de-coders of Bill’s language you can use anywhere and it says “?EP ??TS? D? ??EPS?” The reason the ‘?’ is there is because I wasn’t able to find a letter for those symbols, the letters J,Q,X and Z haven’t been found so those symbols are probably that. I think it’ll show you a decent more amount of lore…

also if the arg is canon it could either be that bill possessed Stan after the events of the show or before. iirc there was just a voicemail or something referring to that in the ARG so it’s not like if he did get possessed offscreen we missed much.
i actually can’t remember if bill can possess you while asleep or you HAVE to make a deal with him, but the plot relevance of Stan’s voicemail also depends on that.
ALSO, the arg could’ve taken place before alex fully committed to the idea that bill was no longer in Stan’s head. technically we didn’t know for sure until this book.
I think the reason why the items look realistic and the photographs do not is because the photographs are images captured in the animated world, but the items kind of "Shift" in order to better fit in with our world. The book would probably look very different in Stanford's hands compared to our own, y'know?

Bill is attempting to input himself in our world in animation and books because he knows that ideas can be forgotten, ideas can be improved, however a digital stamp may not be forever gone or forever forgotten in a database somewhere, he knows that if he’s forgotten he dies, so he made himself unforgettable and impossible to destroy, but he can be weakened which is why Alex hirsch is still being possessed and is still putting out new content because the more information of himself he puts out the harder it is to be forgotten and weakened, the countdown may end but only when he is ready to show that he is unkillable and is effectively immortal as he achieves his goal.

That’s a great thought! I want to expand on it with two ideas:
1. He isn’t communicating with an individual in that scenario, so the book would technically be the first time he broke the fourth wall for the reader.
2. It’s hard to determine if this is truly breaking the fourth wall. While, yes, something from the show is present our world, does a statue count? Even if it worked and let Bill into our minds, this one technically didn’t come from the show. The show’s statue is in Gravity Falls (Oregon) , while this one is in California. If it isn’t from the show itself, is it truly breaking the fourth wall?
Sorry for the rant, this was just such an interesting thought that I had to spill out everything I was thinking (hence why I write scripts for my videos lmao)! My thought process could be very wrong on this right now, I’ll have to actually look at some of the content to come up with a conclusion, but now I have something to think about!
@RemGames If you think about what you said at the end about Bill tricking Alex into making the Gravity Falls TV show and inserting himself into it, that means Bill might have also made Alex do the irl Cipher hunt for the people who actually seem to enjoy anything Bill related. The hunt would just show Bill how many people in the real world really seem to "like" him, and like doing that massive hunt that THOUSANDS of people did. The hunt really just fed into Bill's wants.

I think you are really touching on something with the multiverse theory. In one of the weirdmageddon episodes there’s a bit where Wendy and dipper are driving through dimension pockets or something and each one they hit they’d change into something different. I remember most of them being funny gags but there was one where they changed into real people suggesting there is a “live action dimension” as I like to call it.
4:12 on the page it says “maybe one day these parallel pines will get a chance to meet up face-to-face” if they ever make a gravity falls reboot I hope they use this concept as an episode.

The proof a show has come far is when a multiverse is created, and the main villain actually knows he shares a multiverse with us, real humans, and how well this same narrative is intricated with the events of our world, making the narrative and the marketing Alex is pushing for this same book feel even more real and, therefore, effective!
I don´t think people realize how much of a positive step was made in the world of fiction with the creation of this book.
Only Alex Hirsch to pull one of these, this man needs to be studied for how great he makes and applies ideas!

I'd like to think that the reason some of the things that came from Gravity Falls are hyperrealistic in the book is this:
Things that exist in two or more universes, ie our and GF's, will switch "styles" to fit into their surroundings. Hence the dollar bill being one of ours, hence the tape. AND hence the Polaroids! The stuff they're *made* of exists in our universe, so it looks like ours. But the *content* of them, the images of Gravity Falls' universe, doesn't. So it stays the same.

For the animation thing, in weirdmaggedon, Wendy and dipper can be seen driving through weirdness bubbles. In one, they turn realistic, into their voice actors. I believe this is a big piece of evidence regarding them being in an animated universe.

Great question! It’s VERY difficult to determine. I mentioned that I’ll provide two options later on in the series just because of how confusing this is, but you mentioned Gus Burnside and I HAVE to talk about that now!
In the book, Stanford said he threw this book in a dimensional rift (the ones that connect the weird realm to Gravity Falls), so this book could have traveled ANYWHERE! With Bill able to travel through dimensions, we can’t just take the book’s existence in our world as proof that they are within the same universe.
Now, we also can’t take this as proof that Gravity Falls is in a separate universe because of the statue that exists on Confusion Hill.
But then we have to consider the fact that all of the photos from Stanford in the book show an animated world.
Then it just becomes a loop of supporting and counter evidence, which is why (at least currently) we are unable to make a clear distinction wether our universes are the same

As for why things are super realistic, while the images are animated, it is because of the dimensional rules/ constraints. Bill made the book of brain matter so he can control it however he wants, but things that are added by others (paper pages or Polaroid photos) contort to the dimension that they exist in, so not to break reality, while the images on those items can remain the same (realistic Polaroid with animated photo)
The book shifts depending on the user, i think in universe its being read by one person, but then hes also speaking to us throught he fourth wall, and based on the book i think Candy is reading it. Mainly for the facts that whoever is reading it clearly knows the pines family is curious about Dipper, Bill specifies husbands instead of spouses or wives, and the portion on love seems like the questions are strsight from the readers brain, of the charecters we know Grenda and Candy would be curuous about Bill's love life, and speak like "methinks you doth protest too much" Candy makes the most sense because shes crushed on Dipper before and may do so again after the events of weridmageddon. It is also suspicious that Mabel or any other character would not mention Candy or Grenda. When talking about Mabel Bill, he says how he likes this kid, and Candy would think her friend is safe. But as the book goes on, she'll be more suspicious. in the end, Bill is shown to no longer be a threat. The notes still never mention Candy or Grenda, but they do mention sharing secrets and not keeping them in the dark, specifically sharing the book. The book changes depending on the reader. I think all of it is the manipulation of Candy and us on the other side of the fourth wall. And she's gonna share the book with more people and end up giving him several brains to go in and out of and return.

You may want to check the website again….the website looks a LOT different, I tried typing in the same password you used but when I did it didn’t work all it said is to “not say that name again” on the computer displayed on the website. There’s also a book next to the computer and when you tap on it, it appears like 2 scrap pages from the book of bill (idk, I haven’t read it yet) BUT when you check the corner there’s a new code, separate to the one I’ve seen in the video. I tried de-coding it using the de-coders of Bill’s language you can use anywhere and it says “?EP ??TS? D? ??EPS?” The reason the ‘?’ is there is because I wasn’t able to find a letter for those symbols, the letters J,Q,X and Z haven’t been found so those symbols are probably that. I think it’ll show you a decent more amount of lore…
