I would have to say Governor Tarkin from the first Star Wars film, mainly because he was such a brilliant actor, especially known for the British Hammer Horror films. He starred in 22 between the years 1957 and 1974 according to my very limited research.

"I'll never turn to the Dark Side. You've failed, your highness. I am a Jedi, like my father before me."
    "So be it... Jedi!"
Fun Fact: The growls and sounds of the Rancor in Jabba's Palace were actually made by a dachsund.
Stage Actor Fact: Ian McDiarmid, a prolific stage actor, based his character's unusual voice on the Japanese method of using your stomach to project yourself. The result was a strange, guttural croak that Lucas decided was perfect.
Hot Take Fact: During the shot in which Salacious Crumb (the small, annoying, rat-like thing that sits with Jabba in his palace) is chewing off C-3PO's eye, Anthony Daniels had a panic attack while in the C-3PO suit. While filming, he didn't actually say his lines (all of his lines were dubbed in post-production anyway), but repeated "Get me up! Get me up!" over and over. This is the take used in the final cut.
Pinocchio's Revenge Fact: It took six people to work the full-sized animatronic of Jabba the Hutt. The puppet fit three men inside -two to operate the arms, head and tongue and another to move the tail. A man lying below the puppet pulled strings to move Jabba's mouth and make his sides heave. And two radio operators controlled the slimy goon's eyes, including pupil dilation, direction and wideness of eyelids. A final crew member was responsible for rubbing gel on the puppet to give Jabba his slimy look.
Revenge Of The Ewok Fact: The Endor shots were filmed near Crescent City, California. Forest work was especially hard on the Ewok actors. Production assistant Ian Bryce arrived on the set one day to find a note from the Ewok actors saying that they had all had enough and they were on their way to the airport. Bryce tried to drive to the airport, but got a flat tire not far from the set. He found another car and was about to leave when the Ewoks' bus pulled up, then all the Ewok actors got off wearing "Revenge Of The Ewok" t-shirts.

@@BigGator5 I used to be down with the machete order, and for the longest time I've advocated release order (since all the necessary exposition is in Episode IV), but these days I'm all about chronological order. Watching it that way has a certain satisfactory story arc from start to finish that you don't quite get watching in release or machete.

    • @BigGator5

Machete Order doesn't have Episode 1 or Rogue One. I don't like that order either. Don't confuse my Satisfying Order with that order.

This one has two of my least favorite changes. The musical number at Jabba's palace was originally a much more laid-back disco song and there were no dancers or extra musicians, it was just a 3 piece band, all practical effects.
The worst change though is Vader's "Nooooo!" at the end. Before, he didn't say anything, but you could see what he was thinking just by the editing, camera work and performance.

    • @Marcus_1001

    1. Best guess is that Han was Jabba's "trophy" for about a year and a half before the rescue.
    2. Vader discovered Leia as Luke's sister because he could feel it through Luke.
Luke didn't know that until just before then.
    3. Luke's light saber is green because he lost his old one along with his hand so they decided to make it green because it worked better in the desert background landscape.
    4. Everybody is freaking out because Luke and Leia kissed mostly because she was trying to piss off Han. They didn't know they are related.
    5. The "I love you. I know" was written into the script to get Leia the shot to say it to Han.
    6. This was Warrick Davis's/Lead Ewok first acting gig. He was only 13.
"Willow" is his lead with Val Kilmer and worth a first time/share.
    7. Awesome camera work with the race through the forest. Nobody in their right mind would go that fast.
    8. Carrie Fisher said in her biography that the most satisfying part in her Star Wars experience was choking out Jabba.
    9. Jedi is plural. With Luke and Leia leading the way they can reestablish the Jedi back into the galaxy.
    10. Ford wanted Han to die in the last episode.
    11. IMVHO this is the best of the original 6 George Lucas Star Wars. After the first six he sold it to Disney, and everything changed. Sadly

@@EthanDen Also, Luke crafted that green light saber himself. There's a filmed but deleted Return of the Jedi scene with Luke making his new light saber at Ben Kenobi's abandoned lair. Got edited out probably because didn't fit the pacing of the first act. The SFX noticed that a blue light saber wouldn't work well with the blue sky so it was changed to green.
Darth Vader was correct when he commented on Luke's new light saber. Luke didn't just find it somewhere he built it himself.
Fun fact: At the time The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi were the most successful indie movies ever. Yeah, they both are indie movies financed and produced by Lucas himself. Fox was just the distributor.
After the huge success of the first one - produced by Fox - George Lucas could afford to finance and produce the other parts of the story himself without studios telling him what to do. He now had a much bigger budget to do what he wanted. Also, that's why he didn't direct the other two movies as that would have been too much work with all the other stuff he had to do with finance, production etc.
And that's just one of the ways the original trilogy changed film history and why they still are some of the most influential movies of all time.
If you're interested in that part of film history, how Star Wars came to be and what its impact was and still is check out the documentary Empire of Dreams: The Story of the Star Wars Trilogy. In fact why not do a reaction video watching that documentary. I know of only one reaction channel that has done that so it's a rare thing to do, and might help your channel to distinguish.
Anyway, thanks for your reaction. As an old geezer who saw Star Wars at the movies back in '77 it was such a joy to see you watching the original trilogy.

I went from 13 years old in 1977 when I saw Star Wars to 16 Years old in 1980 when I saw Episode V The Empire Strikes Back to 19 Years old when I saw Episode VI Return of The Jedi in the Movie Theatre. Everyone in the Movie Theatre Gasped when it was revealed That Princess Leia was the Twin Sister to Luke. The entire Movie Theatre cheered when Darth Vader turned on the Emperor
Anakin Skywalker was the Jedi who returned. like hinted at it when He told the Emperor that he was a jedi like his Father before me.
Anakin Skywalker had become Darth Vader and then returned back to being Anakin Skywalker.
On the Original Movie Darth Vader did not shout No before turning on the Emperor. He just kept looking back and forth silently before picking up the Emperor, In the original the Force Ghost of Anakin was portrayed by the older actor who had been revealed in the Darth Vader Suit. It was changed to the younger Anakin Force Ghost after the Prequels was released,

The kiss on Hoth was only to silence Han and make him jealous.
At that time she were not even Luke's sister.
There should be a new character introduced and she should have her own trilogy but while shooting this movie George Lucas went thru a difficult divorce and felt worn out so he scrapped the plans and decided to wrap it up and end the Skywalker saga there by editing in Leia as the sister.

Ewoks are cute af, but I'd rather hug Chewbacca (granted he's in a good mood). I also can't help but cheer when Leia chokes out Jabba with that chain.
    Side notes:
    1. The creature that killed that Twi'lek (green woman with tentacles/tails on her head) slave and almost kills Luke inside that pit in Jabba's palace is called a rancor.
    2. The scene at the Sarlacc pit was shot in my home state of Arizona in the middle of the Yuma desert, while the scenes on the forest moon of Endor were shot in the Redwood Forest of California.

3:30 Tapeworm guy is named 'Bib Fortuna'', although I'm not sure that is mentioned on screen. Many of the denizens of Jabba's palace have names mentioned in the novelisation or the promotional material released at the time.

"So who's in charge of the world now? Luke? Leia?"
Emperor disbanded the senate back in the Ep. IV but nominally power should go back to senate. Yet the destruction of the centralized power of the Emperor left a power vacuum for local power brokers to step in - including organized crime and remnants of imperial forces still devoted to the impertial cause. The third trilogy or sequels were supposed to be about Leia dealing with those problems.
Lucas' vision was to make three trilogies: about father, then son, and then daughter. You just saw the son's trilogy, and the prequels are about the father. Unfortunately Disney discarded Lucas' vision so Disney's sequels are not the daughter's story of restoring the republic.
"So what happens to all the storm troopers now?"
Well, the stranded storm troopers on Endor got probably barbequed and eaten by the cute teddy bear warriors. Over the rest of the galaxy stormtroopes likely noticed how they're not getting paid any more and likely moved on to other jobs. Some probably tried to maintain their control of populations and planets they were stationed at either out of greed or self-preservation, some turned to organized crime, and some devoted ones started organizing to try and restore the Empire.

Keep in mind that Ep.1 takes place before the Empire, so there is no emperor and no rebel alliance yet. Instead, the ruling government is the Republic, which is a congress made up of representatives from all the member planets (though not every planet is part of the Republic). The leader of the Republic is the Supreme Chancellor, kind of like the president or prime minister of the galaxy. There is no military in the Republic because there has been peace for 1,000 years. Instead, the peace is kept by the Jedi Knights, who serve the Republic but exist apart from it, with their own rules and traditions.
By the time of Ep.1, the Republic has become corrupt and ineffective. Senators are open to bribery, and wealthy corporations are so influential that they even have their own senators in congress. One such corporation is the Trade Federation, which controls most of the trade routes through the galaxy. They are the apparent villains of the story, but what know one knows, not even the Jedi, is that they are actually in cahoots with a familiar-looking shadowy hooded figure who is pulling the strings from behind the scenes.
