Draco’s mom asked Harry about Draco because she wasn’t sure if he was safe in the castle. So the fact that Harry saved Draco directly saved everyone. It’s another example of mother’s love defeating Voldemort.

    To your question:
In his young years, Dumbledore seeked Power. He became good friends with Grindelwald back then, who became later the most dangerous dark wizard that time. (Voldemort's predecessor)
    .
Dumbledore lived at home with his family in Godrics Hallow (the place also Harry got born) and you have to know that his family was crazy. His sister, Ariana, was ill, she wasn't able to control her magic because in young years, as she first showed the first sign of magic, Muggle kids had seen this and bullied her so much, that since then she suppressed all the magic, so that it won't come out again. For a wizard/witch this is very unhealthy at least, and she turned like in something what is called a Obscurial (an oftenly not older than 10years old magic kid who can't control the power and will have moments where all the suppressed magic comes out, like in rage). This made it really hard for the family, she wasn't able to visit Hogwarts because of that. Her father turned very angry and killed "these 3 muggles" who tortured/bullied her that way. Because of that he got sent to Azkaban. So the Mother of Dumbledore was left, but it was so much stress, and one day, at a rage moment of Ariana, she died . Aberforth (Dumbys Brother) was that time in his 3rd year on Hogwarts and wanted to stay at home to take care of Ariana (She was a nursing case), but Albus (so your Dumby you know) said no, and wanted to take care of her, he wanted Aberforth to finish hogwarts at 7th year first, However, what about his plans to take over the wizarding community with Grindelwald confronted and so he had to give up this dream. He also had to cancel his planned trip around the world with Elphias Doge, his best school friend (you saw him at the wedding). However, Grindelwald did not like that Dumbledore suddenly wanted to quit and during a visit to Godric's Hallow during the Christmas holidays, he visited Dumby again. Dumbledore discussed it with him but Aberforth was there too. This led to an argument between the three, which became so violent that Grindelwald even placed the Cruciatus Curse on Aberforth. Ariana was that moment in the near and was because of all that stress at the next rage moment again, but they didn't see her, and then all three took out their wands and fought against each other. Everyone against everyone. This escalated that much, that after it, Ariana was dead on the bottom. As Aberforth said it: It could have been everyone of us. No one knew who killed her, it could have been everyone. (There are more ways than just Avada Kedavra to kill someone)
Grindelwald, who feared being prosecuted for black magic from Durmstrang (the school appeared in the fourth part), fled. Aberforth and Albus argued so much and were so upset that their relationship was destroyed forever. Aberforth actually broke Albus' nose at the funeral. That's why Albus always had this "broken nose".
    .
Much text but I hope I could help you with that. For more information, I'd say you should read the books, this theme is in the last one, they are really good.

    About the Elderwand.
In the books Harry uses the Elderwand to repair his own wand, which was said to be impossible. Afterwards he returned it to Dumbledores grave.

    • @potter286

He should've repaired his wand and then broken it. If he'd kept it he goes into a career as an auror meaning someone would disarm him sooner or later which would again make a very dangerous witch or wizard owner of the most powerful wand in the world. And if he returns it to dumbledore's grave, it was stolen before so what's to say it won't be again, also it no longer belonged to dumbledore, it switched allegiance right before he died. The best option would be to fix his original wand and then snap the elder wand because if its broken no one else can abuse its power again

Remember, the resurrection Stone doesn't actually bring people back from the dead. It merely brings back an echo of them.
That is why the second brother from the tale killed himself. He realized that it didn't actually bring back his loved one and the only way to rejoin her was to kill himself and to join her in death.

Dumbledore didn't sacrifice his sister. According to the Deathly Hallows book, Harry and Hermione find out by reading Rita Skeeter's novel and by talking to Dumbledore's brother, that when Albus Dumbledore was young, he was Very close friends with Grindelwald (a person who was mentioned a few times throughout the Harry Potter series to be a dark wizard that Dumbledore once defeated many years ago). Together, when they were young, they were obsessed with finding all the Deathly Hallows. Prior to that, Dumbledore's sister was attacked by a group of boy muggles after they witnessed her doing magic. The attack was so bad that Dumbledore's sister never did magic again out of trauma. That is why Dumbledore's father went to Azkaban for attacking muggle boys. But by suppressing her magic, it made Dumbledore's sister very ill. Every now and then, she would lose control because of her illness. Dumbledore's father eventually died in Azkaban, and later on, so did Albus Dumbledore's mother. Dumbledore's brother was left alone to take care of their ill sister while Albus Dumbledore was off with Grindelwald.
One day, Dumbledore and Grindelwald got into a massive fight and Dumbledore's brother got involved. They all began to duel each other. Unfortunately, Ariana Dumbledore (Dumbledore's sister) got caught in the middle and was killed accidentally. To this day, no one knows which of the three wizards caused her death. Albus Dumbledore felt forever ashamed for what happened and always felt that he was responsible for her death in one way or another.
What you might not fully understand from Deathly Hallows part 1 is that Grindelwald did find one Deathly Hallow. It was the wand. He stole it from the Gragorovitch, the wand maker. As you saw, when Voldemort went to the prison that was holding Grindelwald, Grindelwald told Voldemort that the wand lies with Dumbledore. That was because Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald years after his sister's passing when Grindelwald became a dark wizard out to concur the world.
If you watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series, they do dive a little deeper into the story about the death of Ariana Dumbledore.

    • @digitaladventurer2142
      @digitaladventurer2142 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

So your explanation is a little off. Yes Albus sister became ill and was always suppressing her magic but sometimes it would literally explode out of her like a bomb and one of those is what accidently killed their mother. As the eldest son Albus had to come home to take care of her so his brother Aberforth could finish school even though he did volunteer to drop out and take care of his sister. That was when Albus met Grindelwald and they started their plans to take over the magical world and enslave the muggles and when Albus started neglecting his sister. Eventually Aberforth confronted Albus about what he was doing and Grindelwald used the torture curse on him, then Albus tried stopping Grindelwald and thats how the fight broke out.

So the reason they didn’t show the bank bellatrix’s wand was because bellatrix warned the bank that her wand had been stolen. So, if they handed her wand over, the goblins would know who they were immediately. Explains it far better in the book!

Goblins were famous for their skilled metal crafts. So, the famous sword of Gryffindor was goblin made.
Now, here we must stop and consider, goblins are not humans, they have their own traits including way of thinking, for example when it comes to ownership. Everything goblin made will always belongs to goblins. If you would buy anything, they look at it as you are leasing it, and when you, the buyer die, they want it back.
So Griphook sees the sword as stolen goods. Who are we to say he's wrong? It's just a different view around ownership..

  • @turntsnaco824

    "Hes gonna drown in gold!"
One of the fun details from the books they don't include about this scene is that all of the duplicated metal is actually searing hot, so they're not just at risk of being crushed, they are being actively burned all over their bodies as it piles up on them. I'm pretty sure they end up leaving the vault covered in burns and blisters that they barely survived and had to promptly treat.

@marshallpeters7174 I thought so, but I wasn't positive if I remembered everything correctly, so I didn't want to stray too far from what I was pretty confident about. Another of so many small details in this film for book readers that means nothing to people who have only seen the movies. I've always assumed the implication for the movie-only audience was that it was supposed to be something that magically dries them and their clothes - unless it also did that and I'm just remembering that from the book.

According to JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, Harry and Ron decided not to finish school and instead became Aurors (dark wizard catchers like Mad Eye Moody) at the Ministry of Magic. After several years, Ron retired from his job at the Ministry and went to work with George Weasley at the joke shop to help him out. Harry eventually became Head of Auror Office and Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
Hermione did go back to Hogwarts after the Battle to finish school and graduated. At one point, she went to look for her parents and returned their memories. Later after she graduated she started working at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic and helped to create laws to protect and improve the lives of sentient magical creatures like house elves, goblins and centaurs to name a few. Much later, Hermione eventually became Minister of Magic.
Neville Longbottom became the new Herbology professor at Hogwarts and married the Hufflepuff student Hannah Abbott, who is the grandchild of the owner of The Leaky Cauldron.
Luna became a Magizoologist and married Newt Scamander's (the fictional author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find) grandson, Rolf Scamander. Together, they travel the world looking for rare magical beasts.
Professor McGonagall became the new Hogwarts headmistress.
Before Ginny married Harry, she became a professional Quidditch player. After she retired, she started writing sports articles for the Daily Prophet wizarding newspaper.
Harry and Ginny had three kids together. If I recall the names right, the eldest son was named James Sirius. The second born is Albus Severus. And the youngest child is Lily Luna. Harry is the godfather to Remus and Tonks' son, Teddy Lupin and made sure he was well provided for.
Ron and Hermione's children are Rose and Hugo.
Draco's child is Scorpius Malfoy. Lucius Malfoy again got away scot-free with his crimes as a Deatheater like he did after the first war when Harry was a baby, where he convinced the Ministry that he was forced to do what he did. Draco got a job at the Ministry and remained on respectful terms with Harry after the Battle of Hogwarts.
Umbridge was sent to Azkaban for her crimes.
Hagrid remained a professor at Hogwarts but never married.
George Weasley married Angelina Johnson, who had been Fred Weasley's date for the Yule Ball in Goblet of Fire.
Harry and Dudly remained on friendly terms and stayed in touch with each other to the point that they would even send each other Christmas cards every year.
Harry, Ron and Hermione in time were each later featured on Chocolate Frog Cards.
There are more stories like that that can be read in the Wizarding World website and also found in documentaries with JK Rowling where she goes into family tree details after the Battle of Hogwarts.

There is actually a series of reports somewhere (used to be on the old Pottermore website) from the 2014 Quidditch World Cup held in Brazil, by Ginny Potter, reporting on each match leading up to the final. Then there's a transcript of the broadcast from the final game, with Ginny Potter and Rita Skeeter as sportscasters (Ginny actually reporting on the game and Rita talking about the social side of it, mostly what was going on in the VIP box). Rather entertaining reading, if you can find it. Victor Krum came out of retirement to play in the 2014 Cup.

I don't see anyone else explaining it, so I'll answer your question really quick! So, when Dumbledore was young and stupid, he fell in love with another wizard supremacist kind of like voldemort named Grendlwald. Dumbledore basically helped Grendlwald plan his take over of the Wizarding world. Aberforth, who had been taking care of their sister (she couldn't control her magic and was implied to be incredibly mentally ill), tried to talk sense into Dumbledore, and he started to get through to Dumbledore, but Dumbledore was still blinded by his love for Grendlwald. It escalated into a three way duel between Aberforth, Dumbledore, and Grendlwald, and tragically Dumbledore's sister ran into the middle of the duel and was killed. None of them knew who's curse actually killed her, but both Aberforth and Dumbledore saw it as Dumbledore's fault she was dead, regardless of who dealt the blow. Dumbledore then became the defense against the dark arts teacher at hogwarts, and spent the next couple decades tracking Grendlwald down in order to stop him from implementing the plans they had made together. This ended in a climactic duel where Dumbledore soundly defeated the man who he had loved, and took the elder wand from him.

It wasn't just love that led Dumbedore to buy into Grindewald's plans to reveal the secret of the wizarding world to muggles. Albus thought that with the magical world revealed Ariana would not have to stay locked away from the world; she would not have to stay locked away from the world. And Albus did not track down Grendiwald. The wizarrding leaders tried to get him to duel and defeat Grendewald. Nobody could understand why he refused. The Fantastic Beast series starts explaining why.

It's hard to miss if you're not aware, but when Snape was fighting McGonagall in the Great Hall, Snape swerved slightly so the spells hit the Carrows, that were behind him. And as you've seen from Snape's memory, he did everything to protect Harry because of his love for Lily, all the way back to book 1.
Also, in the books, Harry doesn't destroy the Elder Wand - he puts it back in Dumbledore's tomb.
It's also hard to miss, but Harry gave Albus a ferret and looks directly at Malfoy, who looks terrified because of what happened in Goblet of Fire 😂
What's always bothered me is that the way Snape dies in the movie is completely different from how he dies in the books. They just used Nagini because it was a "shock and awe" kind of moment for moviegoers.

      @johnnusz8278 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

It's also of note that when facing McGonagall, Snape never used an offensive spell.
And in the end Potter uses the Elder Wand in order to fix his original wand before returning the Elder Wand to Dumbledore.
Lastly, can we talk about the amazing work of Helena Bohnam Carter, playing Hermione, morphed into Belatrix? One of the unsung bits of acting mastery in this vast landscape of amazing acting.

Yeah and don't get the idea Snape actually cared about Harry. He didn't. There is one line the movies didn't add which makes people think Snape actually cared about Harry. In the books right after Dumbledore states "Don't tell me now you've come to care for the boy?" Snape yells "FOR HIM??!!" then casts his Patronus. He only protected Harry because of his love for Lily. He really did enjoy tormenting Harry since he literally represented how he lost Lily to James.

Oh, man.... seeing Fred lying on the floor in the Great Hall dead is heartbreaking, especially seeing Ron break down in tears. (Hearing that Harry had to sacrifice himself to give them a chance of defeating Voldemort and the Death Eaters didn't help that grief.) Also, I was at the midnight premiere of The Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 3D. The scene where Mrs. Weasley took out Bellatrix got a massive cheer from the audience.
7 points I've made or seen in the past regarding Harry Potter:
    1. The prophecy Professor Dumbledore mentioned in Professor Snape's memory that mentioned a baby born at the end of July was partially true. There were actually two: Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. They were born in the same month and year, but Neville is only 1 day older than Harry. (Neville: 30 July 1980, Harry: 31 July 1980.) Voldemort had chosen to target a then 15-month-old Harry, thus marking him as his equal. Neville lived a life free of that fear with his grandmother, despite the constant painful reminder of his parents being permanently admitted to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries after being tortured into insanity by Bellatrix Lestrange.
    2. In the scene where Professor McGonagall steps in to protect Harry from Professor Snape....if you notice, he never raises his wand to actually attack her. He actually deflects the spells hurled at him at the two Death Eaters behind him, the Carrows....the very same pair that Neville said were forcing the students to practice the Cruciatus Curse on first years.
    3. Voldemort's death after his battle with Harry wasn't supposed to look like he got snapped out by Thanos, and it wasn't just them isolated in the courtyard. In the book, Harry and Voldemort battle for the last time in front of everyone else, resulting in Voldemort dying as a mortal man once Neville sliced off Nagini's head.
    4. Harry didn't snap the Elder Wand in the book version. He mends his original wand (the one he got in Philosopher's Stone from Ollivander's) with it, then returns it to Professor Dumbledore's grave.
    5. I give HUGE props to Narcissa for straight-up lying to Voldemort after Harry confirmed that Draco was alive. It shows that neither she nor her son wanted the Death Eater life.
    6. That one goblin who stared in shock as the Ukrainian Ironbelly burst through the floor of Gringotts seriously looked a bit like Donald Trump.
    7. Before the war, during an Order Of The Phoenix meeting at Grimmauld Place after their son Teddy was born, Harry was asked by Tonks and Remus to be the godfather.

Snape wouldn’t have appeared with the resurrection stone because he was not a loved one. Snape was an anti hero in that he protected Harry but only because he was part of the woman he loved so it was all for the love of Lily not because he cared for Harry. However Harry was grateful that Snape did it for his mother and honoured him with giving his second son , Albus, Severus as a middle name.
Dumbledore had to keep things close to his chest to make sure Harry had all the tools, time and opportunity to defeat Voldemort, even if it meant keeping it from the people themselves. The more people knew the more chance Voldemort had at winning. Dumbledores methods were probably questionable but in the end they succeeded and peace was brought to the wizarding world once more even though the cost was high.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with listening to the audio books. I listened to the entire series that way. It was the best thing ever.
There are two versions. The British version has Stephen Frey doing the reading. The American version has Jim Dale. I highly suggest you listen to Jim Dale. He was absolutely 100% fantastic. I had the great fortune of seeing him live doing Harry Potter reading for the last two Harry Potter book release parties at Barns and Nobles here in New York City where I live. Watching Jim Dale reading Harry Potter books was like watching a Broadway show. It was just THAT good! Loved it!

A couple things I’d like to add here. They didn’t use the wand at the bank because, as the goblin said, they had been warned so they had been told the wand had been stolen. Another thing is dumbledore did care for Harry, deeply, but he knew how to talk to snape he was good at manipulating to do what needed to be done to defeat Voldemort. He knew harry was a horcrux at some point before he saw the memory and knew that it was much less loss to train Harry to do it himself especially considering him being a horcrux makes him almost impossible to kill except with the sword, elder wand, or basilisk venom. It’s not mentioned in the books or any of the movies but I have a theory of how dumbledore knew so much and it’s because he had a time turner. I do not say this is fact or anything It’s just my personal theory.

    The Thing About Wands
    Thing One:
Think back to the night Dumbledore died.
Dumbledore heard someone coming and told Harry to get out of sight and go get Snape.
Draco showed up, terrified and with his wand drawn.
In the course of the encounter, Dumbledore says to Draco, "I'll make this easy for you..." and loosely displays his wand, which Draco reflexively zaps out of Dumbledore's hand.
The only witnesses to this is Dumbledore, Draco, and Harry.
Draco and Harry don't know wandlore, only Dumbledore.
When Draco disarmed Dumbledore of his Elder Wand, the Eleder Wand shifted its loyalty to Draco; Draco was now the true master of TWO wands, his original wand and now the Elder Wand.
    Thing Two:
When Dobby was rescuing the Trio and the goblin from Malfoy Manor, Harry ran over to Draco and wrestled away two wands Draco was holding, Draco's and Bellatrix's.
Bellatrix's wand is merely stolen; it won't work right for anyone else (and may resent being taken, so Ollivander was right to warn caution).
But Harry had technically 'disarmed' Draco, which meant all of Draco's wands would shift their loyalty to Harry. INCLUDING THE ELDER WAND.
    Thing Three:
Voldemort is not a scholar of wandlore.
He's heard the story of how Antioch lost the Elder Wand and his life and assumed killing the previous owner of the Elder Wand was required to gain its loyalty. Nope.
So, when Voldemort blasts the protection shield over Hogwarts, the Elder Wand resists, zapping Voldemort's hand while cracking.
Voldemort assumes the Wand resists because he's not its true master because Snape, not he, killed its previous master.
So, Voldemort kills Snape, avoiding using the Wand's magic to do so (he cut Snape's neck and then had Nagini bite him several times so Snape would bleed to death quickly).
Voldemort knew enough wandlore to realize even the Elder Wand would probably refuse to harm its true master.
Except the Elder Wand only recognized Harry as its true master, which is why it resisted when Voldemort attacked Hogwart's protective shield; Harry was in Hogwarts at the time and that was too close.
    Thing Four:
When Harry presented himself to Voldemort for execution, the Elder Wand resisted harming Harry, resulting in knocking out Voldemort.
But Harry also was carrying a piece of Voldemort's soul that was released when the Avada Kedavra Curse was cast at baby Harry.
The Death Curse rebounded and destroyed Voldemort's physical body, so his soul went into Harry, where it stayed like a parasite.
The intentional horcruxes, the unicorn blood, and the host bodies kept him around until he could have a new body made.
But when the Eder Wand was fired at Harry, its true master, the Elder Wand allowed Voldemort to kill the bit of Voldemort's soul still resident in Harry, freeing Harry from Voldemort's influence.
I think Dumbledore planned this subterfuge.
There's no other reason for Dumbledore to take out his wand in such a cavalier manner and LET Draco disarm him.
    Finally, Thing Five:
Notice what happens when all the horcruxes have been neutralized, the final one being Nagini.
With no support from backup soul pieces, the Elder Wand poisons Voldemort's hand and straight on up his right arm, just like with Dumbledore, only this time the black rot took Voldemort right out.
The Elder Wand would never have killed Harry, it already being his, but it was happy to jump into Harry's hand when Harry disarmed Voldemort at the end.
Book Harry kept the Elder Wand, repaired his phoenix-feather core original wand, then put it back in Dumbledore's grave.
But Film Harry was smart to destroy the Elder Wand; whoever has the Wand or knows where it is will be a target for the power-hungry and ambitious. The targeting will include family and friends. On top of that, there is the ongoing temptation to use/misuse the great power in the Elder Wand, which could corrupt one's character and soul. There's no way to guarantee the Elder Wand NOT falling into the wrong hands.

The early movies (like the early books) are not kid movies (nor books). The main characters are children and their experiences are like those of children with a little extra. As they mature, their experiences mature. However, we need those early stories to introduce us to this world and the characters who inhabit it. It is not just the action that makes these great movies (and books). It's the story itself and the care Rowling took to develop it so that we cared about what happened to the characters -- the good and the bad. BTW: I see all 7 books as one story.

Regarding the scene with Draco's mother, Narcissa, checking on Harry after Voldemort hits him with Avada Kedavra; I've always been annoyed by the way they handled the dialogue, because with ONE SMALL CHANGE, it would be far less confusing. What's happening is that when Draco's mother checks on Harry and realizes he isn't dead, she asks him if Draco is alive. But what she says is, "Draco, is he alive?" instead of "Is Draco alive?" They mean the same thing, but one works WAY better written than spoken. After she asks, Harry nods slightly, then Narcissa lies to Voldemort and says that Harry is dead so that they can go to the castle where she can get Draco and take him to safety.
Narcissa is a neutral character who never cared about the Death Eater ideology. All that pureblood prejudice crap was more her family's bag than hers. She just got caught up in it and went with the side she (mistakenly) believed would be the safest bet for her son. Once she realized her error, she immediately jumped ship and sided with Harry. She's a very interesting character in that sense, because most of the other characters are very much good or evil. She's ambiguous in nature, and just cares about her son.

The reason why Hermione could not present Bella's wand was because the Goblins have been told that Bella lost her wand so of course the one presenting it to the Cobolds would be Harry's group. Also the Idea to ride the Dragon out of Gringots was actually Harry's idea in the books. So many of Harry's and Ron's great ideas and moments were shifted to Hermione that it's almost rediculous.

    Part of Draco's redemption arc:
What seals it, I think, is Harry saving Draco from burning up alive.
For Harry, it's partially in return for not confirming that it was him when the Snatchers brought the Trio to Malfoy Manor before Dobby took them to safety. It's also partially because that's who Harry is.
By the point that Voldemort came to Hogwarts to boast he had finally killed Harry, Draco had totally turned against his father and refused to come to Lucius when called. It was Narcissa, his mother, that Draco could not refuse.
Even so, in a deleted scene Harry drops out of Hagrid's arms and Draco runs across the Hogwarts courtyard to toss Harry a wand.
Recall, Harry came unarmed to submit to Voldemort's execution of him. Afterward, Hagrid collects Harry and carries him to Hogwarts. Harry had no chance to get a wand, yet he jumps up from falling at Hagrid's feet and immediately attacks Voldemort with a wand. The wand was tossed to him by Draco.
Narcissa didn't help Harry to be a 'good guy' or on the side of 'right'.
Narcissa loves her boy Draco and would sacrifice her life for him.
She had to stand there helpless and mute as Voldemort took advantage of Draco's rage to recruit him into the Death Eaters and give him tasks she knew Draco couldn't compete, tasks that would wreck his life or end it.
She went to Snape for help, knowing Voldemort would kill her if he found out.
She had to stand helpless and mute as Hogwarts was viciously bombarded, knowing Draco was in the school and at risk.
She went up to check Harry's body for life and, finding he was alive and conscious, asked him if Draco was still alive. If Draco was dead, she would have told Voldemort the truth, that Harry was still alive, and left the area during the drama that would have ensued. If Draco was still alive, she just needed to get within sight of Draco to get him out of the danger. Harry nodded 'yes', so she lied to an insane unforgiving powerful wizard so she could rescue her boy Draco. It had nothing to do with Harry.
Once there at Hogwarts, she whispered 'Come' and Draco crossed to her; at the first chance of a diversion, she marched her son straight out of the chaos.

You might already red the comments about Ariana, DUmbledore's sisters' faith and death. Here's an another small detail for you:
In the Half Blood Prince's end, when Dumbledore asked Harry to pour the potion down in his throat it forced Albus to live through his worst memories. And it was Ariana's death. He even mentioned in the film (but more time in the book version) that "it was my fault... it was all of my fault".
Like everyone said in the comments, no one knows for sure which of them killed Ariana... but Dumbledore knew it very well, if his love toward Grindelwald (its not clear if Grindelwald loved him back or it was one-sided) was not blinded him, he would have seen the darkness in him and would never brought him to their house or in their lives. This unfulfilled love obscured Dumbeldore's vision and made accept the lie, that he only want to rule the muggle world with Grindelwald to give Ariana a safe place and he only wanted to find the Hallows (especially the Invisibility Cloak) to hide Ariana. But that was not the truth. And thats why at the end of the day, it was Albus' fault that Ariana died.
And a second lesser known detail (if you only watched the films): the curse what was about to kill Dumbledore in the Half Blood Prince was because he put the ring on what he found in Voldemort's grandfather's house. He knew exactly that its a horcrux and its cursed by a most probably deadly curse, but he once again lost his mind when he realised, that Voldemort (who didnt know anything about the Deathly Hallows, only about the legend of the Elder Wand) made a horcrux about the Resurrection Stone (you saw the actual Resurrection Stone on the ring on Voldemort finger in Slughorn's memory, he even played with it). Ignoring everything, he put on the ring to see Ariana again... to tell her, he's really sorry and he miss her, he wanted to see his sister again. But the deathly curse acted instantly and he barely made back to Hogwarts, destroyed the horcrux and called Snape who came too late to save Dumbeldore's life, he was only able to slow down the spreading of the curse a bit.
Ariana's death made a big part of the story, yet even most of it is a mistery.

Harry did have to die in order for Voldemort to be defeated. First of all, Harry was one of the horcruxes keeping Voldemort alive. The part of Voldemort's soul in Harry had to die or Voldemort could be immortal as he wanted. Secondly, the Trelawny's prophecy told us (and Dumbledore) that Voldemort had to do it. What Voldemort killed was the horcrux (that part of Vs soul) that was in Harry. That's what was under the bench. Harry, however, could go on living if he wanted and Dumbledore knew it. The choice to go alone to the forest, the choice to go on living, was Harry's, In an earlier book/movie Dumbledore said, "It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." You didn't show that scene in your TH-cam reaction.
In the book, Harry does not destroy the elder wand; he used it to repair his broken wand and returned it to Dumbledore's grave. He, Ron, and Hermione were the only ones who knew it was the elder wand. Remember, Harry's wand chose him and it was that wand that fit him. It was the only one he wanted. He did not desire power.
Draco did not answer Voldemort's call. He also did not move when his father called him. He only came to his mother when she called him. Draco was picked to kill Dumbledore as a way of punishing Lucius, Draco's father, for failing to get the prophecy in Order of the Phoenix. Voldemort expected him to fail. I think Draco resented his father for aligning himself with Voldemort.
Yes. Listen to the books. They provide a lot of insight and answer many of the question you have.

Huh? The small chubby one was Crabbe, who got arrested for growing and possessing cannabis. Those charges are the main reason he was removed from the series but he continued to have legal trouble, being involved in some riots including holding an explosive. Apparently he's turned his life around though, I've seen some interviews with him on TH-cam channels, he really appreciates the fans' love for the series and characters and tries to do positive things in the community.
Goyle, the taller of the two who was still in this film, was the one who died in the fire, in place of Crabbe who died in the books, since he wasn't in the film.

Congatulations on reaching the end of this! I was going to give you some answers and explanations, but seeing that you intend to listen to the audiobooks, I'm not telling anything. All the answers are there and J. K. Rowling is an infinitely better writer than I could ever be, I'll leave it to her. Please do listen/read. If you think that the movies are deep, just wait!
One thing I'll reveal though: Dumbledore knew since the end of Goblet of Fire that if Voldemort tried to kill Harry, Harry won't die (remember, he told Snape that "Voldemort himself must do it, that is essential"). Why? - that you'll have to find out yourself, the explanation is incredibly complex, yet simple and beautiful.

Dumbledore wasn't "raising Harry like a pig for slaughter" as such. It wasn't until they learned about the Horcruxes in The Half Blood Prince that Dumbledore realised Harry was a Horcrux. And Dumbledore also knew that only Harry could destroy Voldemort (the prophecy). So he put two and two together, found as many horcruxes as he could while he was still alive (he knew he was dying) to help Harry as best he could, but ultimately he knew that it was going to have to be Harry who killed Voldemort.... but only after Voldemort had killed the part of himself that lived within Harry. That could not happen until Harry was ready - not just mentally, but also only when all or almost all of the other horcruxes had been destroyed. Dumbledore ensured the Resurrection Stone was inside the snitch to ensure Harry would (ultimately) survive Voldemort doing that. Dumbledore did everything he possibly could to help Harry and make sure the right things happened at the right time, so that Harry could succeed.

Haha no offense taken, most of the channels you see uploading 5-7 times a week have entire teams behind them. I upload twice a week here and 5 times a week on my anime channel so I'm very busy

Voldemort learned a lesson at the end. Building an army of Slytherins Is not a smart thing to do. Because when things get tough, they cover their asses and run for the hills leaving you alone. It always makes me laugh when I watch the death eaters disappear and Voldemort just stands there.

The actor that play Goyle (chubby kid) died in a bar fight protecting his younger brother so they just plucked a different character from the book to be the second Malfoy flunky (Blaize)

No, that's not right. The actor who played Belby in Half-Blood Prince died after being stabbed in a bar right. Goyle's actor got caught using drugs, so he got fired.

@@Pippa_McConnell yeah I got the actors mixed up. Sorry. I just remembered reading about the stabbing a long time ago & thought it was sad.
