- Hi Star Wars collectors, in this video we take a look at my collection of modern Boba Fett figures that have been released on vintage Kenner card backs. So, we have figures from the Vintage Original Trilogy Collection, The Vintage Collection and Retro Collection. 11 Cards to go through in total including some pretty cool variants of VC09!

Cool little story I won a VC rocket firing Boba Fett in a competition when I was a kid from toysrus (Im 20). I didn't know I had won until it was delivered to my house! I still have it.

There's a guy on the Facebook TVC group that is selling a bunch for $20 shipped (USA).
I had to buy mine at a convention in Nashville last week. I purchased it for $30 and turned around to find a guy selling a lot of them for $13 a figure. I felt really dumb 😂.

I have an unpunched VC09. In 2011 they corrected the paint as seen by the solid dark stripe on the boots and corrected colours for the helmet.
Yup, was just thinking the same thing, I think that might be the only one he’s missing

I recently picked up the newest blue sky ROTJ Boba Fett at the con in Nashville for $30. Turned around and a fellow had a lot of them for $13! I learned a valuable lesson. Don't be hasty at conventions 😂.

The 'Super Trooper' or prototype armour as they are calling him is a great looking figure, and it seems he comes with the correct weapons they mocked up. Nice potted history of Boba there...👌👍🤘
Nice boba fett collection, I believe the revenge of the Jedi one is slightly repainted compared to the otc one. But same figure basically. Nice collection mate 👍😎
Awesome collection! Overwhelming if a person wants to go back and get them all!😳 I only have about 6-8 vintage Star Wars figures but when I decided to go back and recollect some Boba was the first figure I bought.👍😁
This is a wonderful look into all the Boba Fett’s released. I just discovered today the latest one from a Walmart a bit far from my usual area. I’m happy I got it especially since Boba Fett himself is back. Man always love your videos and cheers to the character that made Mandolorians exist. This is the way.

Opened my original release boba, and it's one fig that's lacking in my collection got the re-release and hopefully the new one on the way.

Great video as always! Very helpful too as I am just starting a collection of the 6 bounty hunters from ESB - as many of the 3.75" versions as I can get. A lot more Boba Fett's than the others, but makes sense given screen time. I've started with some of the 30th Anniversary Collection as the VC prices are crazy right now. Wonder if they will ever make an animated debut version of Boba Fett in the VC like they did in the 30th Anniversary Collection.

Your missing a variant on the white prototype fett, one has "thin" writing and the other bold. Both came in the white boxes.

Awesome collection. I have TAC Holiday Fett & Mcquarrie Fett, 300th Boba Fett, TVC ESB Boba Fett(2018), Rocket firing Fett(mail-in) & Boba Fett from Comic 2 pack( Walmart exclusive). Also, waiting on TVC ROTJ Boba Fett.
I am thinking more and more that this 'Orange Pill' was a clever marketing tool... how many collectors do we all know that bought multiples from different retailers in the hooe they would lend one (I know I did) 🤣

That is a lot of Boba Fett and VC 09. I have VC 09 reissue, VC 186 (need to check iif it has the updated chest plate), the Retro collection version and the BS 3.75" prototype version.
Some of the later VC09's in 2010/11 had the colour change on the sides of helmet from green to black plus the boots had a single wide black stripe. I think these were only found in the US? the cards were also the unpucnhed version!
You’re missing the revised deco ESB Boba. It was offerless and unpunched since it released right after the mail-away ended
happy to say I have even just two of the carded figs you described- a mint retro boba and a mint rotj blue sky boba with no digital readout. hoping for the possibility that my boba from ent earth has the readout

The newest Boba Fett has got the most slick looking armor but I really like the Kenner one
My favorite is always the new ones with removable helmets and fully articulated!! Hahaha!! I think that the fans should get a discount on the ones without removable helmets and the best articulation in this day and age!! Hahaha!! 3.75 inch Zorii Bliss in addition to the clone upper echelon and Mandalorian factions would make my face light up!! I place my best Boba in The Slave One!! Hahaha! Blessings!! :)
Also the first VC09 ESB Boba had 2 version. Boots, color below visor, knee armor, blaster rifle and armor damage all different. Released a month or so after the first one. Btw...there are no orange cards...

You need to get the 40th Hot Toys Boba fett though brother. DV as well. I ordered them last week.

There's a slight variation of the UK & US White Prototype Boba Fett too - alteration of text on the packaging/back of the cards. Figures appear the same. Another great video though, fella. 😉👍

Nice collection ! I just checked my set and I have a VC09 Fett on Jedi card that is unpunched . No Empire cards I saw were unpunched.
There is one unpunched ESB VC09, it’s the revised deco one from 2011 where they corrected the boot stripe

It's quite obvious that Boba Fett is one of the all time most popular characters ever. And that's why we keep buying him. Great video. One question: what does the P stand for in VCP09? Or VCP01 and VCP02? Another thing, can't Hasbro just help finish the 96 with figures from the TVC 3-packs?
Hi Steve, I think the P must stand for Promo or something. And yeah there are a few figures in the 3 packs that need to be on their own cards. FX-7 etc
Its funny 13 releases in TVC still a highly sought after figure.. and yet hasbro don't produce more mando figures.. insane.
Hopefully the orange cards come to New Zealand we are due them in 5 (ish) days i think, would be interesting to finally end up with highly wanted variants in our country as we always get screwed on walmart/target exclusives.

Speaking of preorder.....I preordered 5 of the Blue Sky card backs the moment it opened on Hasbro Pulse and I still haven’t received a single one yet. I’m so frustrated with them.

I would say though that the backs of the VC09 are not really identical as the figures at the bottom are different! :)
Scooped up one of the new Error ROTJ Boba figures on the Zutton cardback on ebay for $100 buy it now, early on. Now theyre going for $780. Lucked out there. Heard theres only 8 of them.
A friend has been counting and at least 15 have shown up. Feel sorry for the guy that paid 750

Wow just seen that that new boba fett cards legs are really bad i think cgi wise looks almost cartoon like? Probably the best version figure wise out there though really nice collection there though tim great job!
Thats how the Kenner card was mate. They airbrushed the legs on. Hasbro recreated it to look the same.

Is the 2004 Original Trilogy figure the same as the 2007 Legacy figure? Just different packaging?
Just recently bought the ROTJ Boba Fett yellow bubble... Does he fit in the VC Slave I vehicle that shows with the Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett or is it only ESB figure that fits the Slave I?

I love the latest TVC Boba Fett but the picture on the card looks so weird from the belt down. Surely they could’ve made much better graphics than that.
It’s airbrushed, just like the original from 1983. It’s what Kenner did

I have all the ones u have. But I have the running change on the new one, sealed white box of proto and rocket, and have an afa 9.5 proto and afa 9 rocket, a Canadian foil error and reg error card, painted boot variant. I ordered cases and singles of the new fett in hopes to score an orange. Patrick better if not lied!
