I think the main thing that helped this guy was him being bald. I've noticed in recent times that hasbro has been stepping up their game and making hair more detailed (which makes the head bigger) and I think that they've listened to the complaints about big helmets and found the middle ground with swappable heads. Regardless im happy with hasbro quality rn other than crappy paint jobs on clones

Seen a lot of horror stories with this one but it looks really good. The deluxe mando Ahsoka felt like a huge upgrade to TVC stuff I’ve handled before, and this looks just as good. It’s just that price that really hurts

The Darth Vader based on the Kenobi series is absolutely amazing. Finally a 3.75 Vader with great leg articulation, and extra interchangeable hands as a bonus.
I love this figure. My only complaint is posing him with his very flimsy rifle. Not that I'd use these effects, but one of the flames for the jet pack doesn't even stay on but again not a big deal.
Nice, I want this figure now! But I HAVE to say, as a Transformers collector, I have the studio series hotrod and it's NO WHERE near the quality and look as my Masterpiece Takara Tomy from Japan. Not even close. But... I agree that many Vintage Star Wars figures can outperform their black series counterpart, which shouldn't be the case. For me, Bo-Katan comes to mind because I have her in TVC and will not be getting the black series version
You can take the fire effect out of the missle and put the jetpack fire effect into it, makes it a lot easier to place it in the jetpack and look like its firing off!
Just received mine. He was missing half of his pointer and middle finger, so he couldn't hold his gun. Thankfully I was able to use Gel Super Glue to reform the missing fingers and just painted them black after they dried.
God can we please get the previous tvc boba with ball joint hips now? Also like litteraly every clone trooper from this point onward. This is absolutely a staple
the disc hinge w/ thigh swivel is objectively the best joint, from a functionality and longevity standpoint, especially since they're insistent on these figures having Y-hips. Good luck with your loose figures five years from now if they keep this shit up.
The jet flame effects don't even stick on mine. Still, you're quite right. Boba is an amazing figure. One of the best of the Vintage Collection. However, he is not the best. The best is upcoming Obi-Wan Vader. He is-- exceptional. Him, this Boba, and Ahsoka are my favorite figures this year.
I really don't think he's the best this year, I prefer the Morak for one, so many good figures this year, that Vader, the Clone Wars Super Commandos and death watch Mandos, the one with the horns. This has a great paint job but definitely has its flaws and is not worth 10 pounds moee
I wish that he could’ve been a little taller (more like the VC Boba Fett) because the torso comes off as a little stumpy. The colors look great. I have him next to my Jordo Kast figure. at the time cody was a stample in the vc line, liked bobf, but can use your own head cannon but he was betrayed by everyone, he thinks i guess by bib, and after the betrayal with jango, and against his advice jabba decided for war against luke, and this falls right after jabba tried to kill boba
YES IT IS,till the clone troopers come, or the new cody or rex made out of new clone,the mando troopers and vader are totally just as awesome, the dark trooper is made as good, but hard move, call is basically a just stand there figure,
2 things are funny to me,1-out of all the mando figures we have dinn(mando)is the ONLY FIGURE without ball barr joints, out of 12 ish or 11 figures, wonder why this is considering a good bit uses the same torse, and the live action deathwatch and axe woves uses same mold, 2- all deluxe figures to date, are all mando show related figures
I have 3 for 2 reasons: 1- I display the figures in mini dioramas and I like to make a few 2- I am a toy photographer and i use a lot of fireworks, dirt, dust, etc to take my photos, so I normally would end up messing up one of them.
This is a great screen representation of Fett Fer shur, he needs a gaffe stick tho. The BoB is good and will probably get better because a lot of people want certain things so the writers should listen lol. My first fig came messed up tho. The skirt started just above the crotch, not as bad as others Fetts I've seen. I'm hoping the stick with the OG cards tho. Nice vid so far

Hey jc, asked this on rustbelts live stream but it wasn’t really answered. On my copy the left leg just pops off the ball joint when I pose it, any way of fixing this?
Oh yeah sorry man I had to go before I could really answer you! One thing I like trying is actually adding a little bit of facial tissue to it. The SMALLEST bit. Lay a super tiny amount over the socket and then put the ball in. It adds just enough thickness to hopefully tighten it. It doesn't work with every balljoint but it's worth a try!
do think all heads, packs/jet and back packs and other stuff like flames should all be interchangeable, what they did with mando jet pack, is stupid imho, and no reason make head pegs different sizes, wth is with bo katan, she just way too short, fig could be awesome
They probably had no idea it was a relevant accessory for this version of Fett, given it was only used by him in the finale, which I doubt Hasbro was allowed to know about.

It looks cool but the plastic less boxes are bad that evil people may steal, and you can’t see, if it has everything. I don’t think it should be so much money even with additional accessories.

My favorite vintage collection figures might be Commander Cody or Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader from ROTS. Great detail, art, and accessories with Cody. Great card art, articulation, and Sith eyes with Darth. Love posing them.
I honestly was an improvement over the classic OT suit. This one is a classic but isn't as aesthetically pleasing and visually balanced as the BoBF figure.
Really? I can think of two things off the dome that could have been done with this figure: Less gummy hands and rifle. Poseable head visor thing like the deathwatch trooper.
I have no issue with the hands or rifle so I guess that's just me. And Hasbro rarely has movable antennas with removable helmets at this scale. It's not unheard of, but it's rare. It would have been nice tho.
Yeah I wish I would have known before filming, he doesn't really work with older display bases too well. Odd because other newer figures work just fine.

Thanks for the review. I agree that this is one of if not the greatest tvc figure. The show had some issues but overall, I loved it and it was something my kids and I looked forward to every week. Bring on BOBF season 2!
This is the figure that made me decide to end my 21-year-long collection. This figure sets the precedent that action figures are going to become more and more expensive with less and less appeal to what I personally am looking for in a Star Wars figure. At least it’s a nice one.a
Are you referring to the windowless package? Because honestly I only see issue with the windowless packaging in-store, because there's the potential for theft or swapping. We already don't know what the product we're getting looks like when we order online, what's the difference if you find out once you open it? And I know there's been some cases of QC issues. This is literally the very first closed-box TVC figure, QC issues on innovative products are not unheard of.
Definitely a masterpiece, however why Hasbro went all out and not give it an articulated range finder is a missed opportunity. That's the only thing keeping this figure for being perfect for me.

His character arc about wanting a family and somewhere to belong was very enjoyable. Almost dying changes a person. The money from being a bounty hunter wasn't worth it anymore.
