Lenora parents totally failed her in my opinion what kind of a person allows someone to bathe there child that's sickening
In those days I imagine they felt the safest person to leave your kids with was. Priest. Only now do we know

I am sorry to hear about your terrible experience. ..the priest knew you were going through a difficult time, and just made things so much worst.. its very horrific.. ..when my mom passed away when i was young.. it was difficult for the kids, but we were lucky to have a priest who helped our family through this terrible time.. .. i was only 12 years old... what you went through can really push someone to the edge.. i am glad you are better today.. but i am so disgusted by this priest

So many have parents that were so broken and traumatized themselves who never even had the awareness the brokenness they pass on..We need more education on developmental trauma and survival mode..The sons of the fathers past down..Once you know they did the best they could because that’s all they new..you forgive..

One of my mom’s siblings (the eldest) suffered from mental illness after the war and he stabbed one of my cousins when she was 3 yrs old because he was going through a manic episode and thought she was the enemy, fortunately she’s alive and healthy 23 yrs later….my mom’s family distanced themselves from him since that incident he passed about 2yrs ago from cancer.
